Teasing Love

Anamika, stood by the large window, watching the sunset melt into shades of pink and orange, her heart racing with anticipation. It had been months since Vineet left for his business trip without informing her about it, no matter how hard she tries not to miss him but the emptiness in their home without him was something she couldn’t shake off. Tonight, that emptiness would finally be filled. He was coming home after all. All thanks to God who gave him a little brain and he called her this morning telling her about his return journey. She was excited about it, meeting him after a couple of months was exciting itself.

The sound of a car pulling up outside stirred her from her thoughts. Her breath caught in her throat. She didn't move for a moment, afraid that her excitement might overwhelm her. The door creaked open, and she heard the familiar sound of his footsteps in the hallway.

"Anamika..." His voice was low and warm, like a distant melody she’d longed to hear up close.

She turned around slowly, her eyes meeting him. He stood in the doorway, his bag dropped at his feet, his eyes tracing her as though trying to memorize her all over again. He looked a little tired from the journey, but the smile that curled on his lips was all she needed to see.

Without a word, she rushed toward him, throwing her arms around his neck. Vineet pulled her close, his embrace strong and familiar, grounding her in the moment. For a second, neither of them spoke. They just held on, breathing in the scent of each other, feeling the warmth that had been missing.

"I missed you so much," Anamika whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

Vineet tilted her chin up gently, his eyes searching hers. “I missed you more than you know.” His thumb brushed softly over her cheek before he leaned in, his lips finding hers in a kiss that was slow and tender at first. But soon, the weight of the months apart broke through, and the kiss deepened. Passion surged between them, reigniting the connection that had been held at bay for far too long.

He scooped her up in his arms without breaking the kiss, carrying her into the bedroom, where the soft glow of lamps illuminated the space they had shared for years. Yet tonight, everything felt heightened, the air charged with a mixture of longing and desire. Everything was the same the way he left it - just right in place and perfect!

He laid her gently on the bed, his hands roaming her skin, rediscovering the curves and warmth he had missed. Anamika's fingers tangled in his hair, her body arching into his touch. Every kiss, every caress, felt like they were making up for lost time, the months of absence collapsing into this moment.

Vineet’s whispers, soft and breathless, filled the room. “You’re everything, Ana. I don’t know how I stayed away so long. Ek pal nahi guzra jab tumhe yaad nahi kiya ho meine especially humare saath guzare lamho ko!”

Her hands roamed his back, pulling him closer as she murmured against his lips, “You’re home now, and that’s all that matters.”

Time seemed to blur as they lost themselves in each other, the months of separation only fueling the intensity of their reunion. Every movement was slow, deliberate, and full of the kind of love that came from years of knowing each other’s hearts and bodies. It wasn’t just passion—they were reconnecting, reaffirming everything they had built.

Afterward, they lay wrapped in each other’s arms, the soft rise and fall of their breathing the only sound in the room. Anamika traced her fingers along Vineet’s chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath her touch. He kissed the top of her head, pulling her even closer.

Oh!! He missed all this so badly.

“I love you,” he whispered against her hair, his voice thick with emotion.

“I love you too,” she replied softly, closing her eyes and smiling, her heart finally at peace with him by her side again.

Her anger that she had held on right from the moment she got to know about the trip all disappeared. She had planned to fight, to divorce him the moment he stepped in the house and with each passing day her resolution grew stronger but then there she was, in his arms trying to get the warmth a little more, getting greedy for him, her earlier resolution long lost.

She let out a deep breath and pecked his chin as he continued looking at her, he could clearly see and feel her intention in her touch and those desired filled eyes and he was ready to give her all that she wanted from him. After all it was all that he too wants.

“Seems like I need to execute some mission!” He grinned, his face moving closer to her targeting her lips which she grabbed hungrily, sucking on them passionately making him chuckle at her act.

Women in love are the most beautiful creatures! They can give up anything and everything for their love.

Their bodies entwined beneath the soft glow of moonlight, the air thick with the sweet scent of jasmine. His hands roamed over her skin, tracing the familiar contours of her curves. A shiver ran through her as he whispered her name, his voice low and husky. She holds him close, her hands reaching to his hair, pulling him close.

Their kisses deepened, a desperate exploration of each other's mouths. His fingers tangled in her hair, pulling her closer. She arched into him, her body trembling with needs. He slid his hand inside her, his touch sending a wave of pleasure through her. She moans his name - ah!! That felt heaven!

As his touch ignited her, she surrendered to the moment, her body melting into his. He entered her slowly, his movements deliberate and gentle. She gasped, her body tightening around him. She wraps her legs around his waist, his face buried in her chest.

With each thrust, their bodies moved as one, their hearts beating in unison. The world outside faded away, replaced by the intense intimacy of their shared moment. As they reached their peak, their cries of ecstasy filled the room, a testament to the passion that consumed them.

Moment later they laid exhausted in each other arms, he pecked her head as she hid herself in his arms, trying to believe he was really there, well, when you just disappear and doesn't even call or leave a message behind to your better half and show up after couple of months, it's obvious she's gonna need time to process the presence no matter how you try to prove it.

“You okay!?” He asks, caressing her exposed shoulder with her thumb while his free hand plays with her long silky hair, she hummed.

“Kya hua Ana? Why are you so lost? Didn't you like it? Shall we do it again, hmm?” He questions teasingly, his favorite thing to do with her.

Anamika looks up, clearly displeased by his statement.

“Oh baba sorry!! I was just joking meri jaan par batao toh kya hua, why are you upset? Mujhe toh laga tha tum khush hogi, shayad airport pe lene aao but then you clearly had other plans.” He states making a sour face as if she was the one at fault just because she didn't see him at the airport.

“Vineet you were out for a couple of months, tumne jaane ki baat tak nahi batai aur na hi aab tak contact kia. Aaj suddenly call kar ke expect karte ho main airport aaun, huhh. Maine toh socha tha I'll fight or better divorce you fir…” She turned silent, closing her eyes to not admit her emotional breakdown the moment she saw him, how she just drew towards him forgetting everything.

“Fir main aaya aur tumhara sara control aur gussa chala gaya, isn't it?” He winked, she sighs.

Vineet lay back against the pillow, a satisfied grin on his face, his arm lazily draped over Anamika's waist, Anamika nestled against his chest, her hand tracing lazy circles over his skin. It had been months since they’d been together, and tonight had been all about reconnecting, both physically and emotionally. And now doesn't want any kind of tension Or argument she just wants him by her side, though she knows his jokes and teasing are on the way.

"Wow," Vineet chuckled softly, his fingers running through her hair. "You were really desperate, huh? Just a couple of months away and you’re ready to eat me up."

There we go!!

Anamika froze for a second, lifting her head to glare at him. "Excuse me?" she said, narrowing her eyes.

Vineet, sensing the change in her tone, gave her a teasing smile, unfazed. "I mean, seriously. If I’m gone for just two more weeks, will I have to take self-defense classes for when I come home?"

She pushed herself up, shooting him a look that could kill. "Vineet, that’s not funny."

"Oh, come on," he grinned, completely unfazed by her rising irritation. "Admit it. You missed me a little too much."

Anamika sat up, tugging the sheet around her as if the conversation had suddenly made her want to create a barrier between them. "You know what, Vineet? Let’s talk about something else kyunki main abhi jhagda nahi karna chahti. Let's just change the topic, like how your son Ansh topped his class again." She spoke, changing the topic as she really doesn't want to pull out a fight right after making out.

Vineet’s smile faltered slightly as he shifted onto his side. “Oh great, muly little Mr. Genius ,” he said with mock enthusiasm. “The kid’s six and already in eighth grade. I’m not even sure I can help him with his homework anymore.” he maje a face.

"Don’t even pretend like you're not proud of him," Anamika shot back.

"I am proud," Vineet said, but then his face took on a playful, exaggeratedly suspicious expression. "But you know… sometimes I wonder."

"Wonder what?" she asked warily.

"Well, I mean, the kid’s a genius," he said, raising an eyebrow. "And I’m not exactly a walking encyclopedia here. I’ve seen my school records, they are not great. In fact, mere saat pushti mei koi itna intelligent nahi raha hoga… And you know, isiliye I do wonder… did you have a secret affair with some highly intelligent professor or something?" He questions, a grin playing on his lips.

Anamika’s face turned from amusement to pure outrage in the span of a second. "What did you just say?" she snapped, standing up from the bed, the sheet falling to the floor as her temper flared.

"I’m kidding!" Vineet raised his hands in defense, trying to stifle his laughter. "You know, like… ha-ha, joke? Ever heard of one? Itna bhi ganda joke nahi tha bhai!"

But Anamika wasn’t laughing. "How dare you?" she shouted, grabbing the first pillow in sight and throwing it directly at his head. Vineet barely ducked in time, but the look of panic on his face was unmistakable. "You think I would cheat on you? With some professor? Just because our son is smarter than you?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Vineet waved his hands, trying to calm her down, but it was too late. Anamika was on fire. "It was just a joke, Ana! You know, ‘cause Ansh is so smart—"

"That’s not funny, Vineet! You’re questioning my loyalty? My love for you? Over a joke?" She shouts her lungs out, her face red with anger.

Vineet sat up, hands still raised. "I’m not questioning anything! I’m just saying… I mean, come on, the kid is doing algebra at six! He’s basically a little Einstein. It’s intimidating!"

Anamika glared at him, arms crossed, her fury still simmering. "Do you even hear yourself? You don’t joke about things like that."

Vineet sighed, realizing he’d messed up. "Okay, okay. You’re right. I shouldn’t have said that. I was just trying to be funny, but it wasn’t funny. I’m sorry."

But Anamika wasn’t having it. She grabbed her robe from the chair and stormed toward the door. "I don’t care. Sleep alone tonight!" she yelled, slamming the door behind her as she left the room.

Vineet sat there in stunned silence, rubbing the back of his neck. "Wow, smooth move, Vineet," he muttered to himself. "Managed to turn a perfect night into a disaster in just five minutes. New record." He chuckles.

He glanced at the closed door and then flopped back on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

A minute later, the door creaked open, and Anamika peeked in. Vineet sat up instantly. "I thought you—"

"I’m just grabbing my phone," she snapped, snatching it off the dresser. "And don’t think for a second I’m forgiving you that easily."

Vineet watched as she left again, unable to resist a grin. "So… does that mean I have to make my own breakfast tomorrow, too?"

"Make your own life tomorrow!" came her voice from down the hallway.

Vineet chuckled to himself, pulling the blanket over his head. "Yep. Definitely sleeping alone tonight."

.....

Vineet lay on the bed for a while, staring at the ceiling, wondering how things had spiraled so quickly. He knew Anamika wasn’t someone to take that kind of joke lightly, but he hadn’t expected her to storm out like that. After a few minutes of silence, the empty side of the bed started to feel too cold, and the guilt began to gnaw at him. He sighed, throwing off the blanket.

“Time to fix this,” he muttered to himself, sliding out of bed and pulling on his t-shirt.

The house was quiet, the only sound coming from the distant hum of the fridge in the kitchen. He padded down the hallway, heading toward the soft light coming from the dining area. As he got closer, he heard soft voices, one unmistakably Anamika’s, and the other, the high-pitched chatter of their son, Ansh.

Vineet paused at the doorway for a moment. Anamika was sitting at the dining table with Ansh, feeding him dinner. Her expression was still tense, her lips pressed into a thin line as she focused on their son, clearly not over what had happened.

Ansh, however, was as cheerful as ever, completely oblivious to the tension in the air. He spotted Vineet standing in the doorway and immediately lit up with excitement.

“Daddy!” he shouted, waving his arms enthusiastically. “Come here! You have to feed me tonight!”

Vineet smiled, feeling a bit of warmth return to the moment. He stepped forward, but Anamika’s gaze turned icy the second he approached. She didn’t say anything, but the look in her eyes made it clear she wasn’t ready to forgive him just yet.

“Uh, hey, buddy, how's you doing meri jaan? I hope 8th grade is treating you well,” Vineet said, trying to sound casual as he took a seat next to Ansh. “I see you’re having dinner with Mumma.”

“Yeah! But I want you to feed me,” Ansh said, pushing his plate toward Vineet, eyes sparkling with excitement. “Mumma says you’re not good at it, but I want you to try because you know, there is nothing that one can't do if they try!” Ansh exclaims, his words impressing his father.

Vineet shot a glance at Anamika, who was watching the scene unfold with a stubborn frown. Her lips twitched as if she wanted to protest, but she stayed silent.

“Come on, Mumma, let him feed me. Daddy itne din badh aaye hain, mujhe unke haath se hi khana hai, please, ” Ansh pleaded, giving her his best puppy eyes.

Anamika sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly in defeat. “Fine,” she muttered, sliding the plate a little closer to Vineet. “But don’t make a mess.”

Vineet smiled, grateful for the tiny concession. He picked up the spoon, scooping up some rice and gently feeding Ansh, who was more interested in talking than eating.

“Daddy, did you know I solved a physics problem today? My teacher said it was really hard, but I did it! Wo unko bhi nahi aata tha i guess, par meine kar dia.” he told him, proudly at his achievement.

Vineet blinked, shaking his head in disbelief. “Physics? At six years old? Seriously, Ansh, you’re going to put me out of a job soon.” he joked.

Ansh giggled, happily chewing his food, while Anamika continued watching silently from the other side of the table, her arms crossed, still not entirely warming up.

Vineet glanced over at her, trying to catch her eye. “Ana,” he said softly, “I really am sorry, you know. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” he made a puppy face.

She didn’t respond immediately, her gaze locked on Ansh as he excitedly waved his spoon in the air, telling them all about his day. But after a long pause, she finally looked at Vineet, her expression still guarded.

“I know,” she said quietly. “But you need to be more careful with what you say, Vineet. Some jokes just aren’t funny.”

Vineet nodded, his tone more sincere now. “I understand. I’ll do better. I promise.”

Anamika gave him a small nod, her expression softening ever so slightly. "We’ll see," she muttered, but Vineet could sense the tension easing, just a little.

Ansh, completely unaware of the exchange between his parents, tugged on Vineet’s sleeve. “Daddy, more! I’m still hungry!”

Vineet chuckled, picking up the spoon again and feeding his son another bite, thankful that even in moments like this, their family had a way of finding its balance. Even if it took a few wrong turns along the way.

As Vineet looked up, he caught Anamika’s eye once more. She wasn’t smiling, but there was a flicker of something less cold in her gaze—a sign that maybe, just maybe, they would be okay again by tomorrow morning.

Once Ansh had finished his dinner, the nanny arrived to take him to his room. The boy, still chattering excitedly about his day, barely noticed when Vineet and Anamika exchanged another look across the table. With a cheerful goodnight, Ansh skipped away, leaving the room in silence.

Vineet leaned back in his chair, stretching his arms behind his head. "Well, that’s one genius off to bed," he said with a grin. But as soon as the door closed behind the nanny and Ansh, his expression softened. He turned to Anamika, who was still sitting at the table, quiet and tense.

He pushed his empty plate toward her. "Okay, now it’s my turn."

Anamika raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Vineet leaned forward, crossing his arms on the table. "You have to feed me."

Anamika’s eyes narrowed, immediately on guard. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me," Vineet said with a mischievous glint in his eye. "I’m not going to eat unless you feed me."

Anamika rolled her eyes, pushing her chair back as if she were about to leave. "You can’t be serious, Vineet. You’re not a child."

"I’m dead serious," he insisted, leaning closer, his voice playfully dramatic. "I haven’t eaten anything since morning, and you know how weak I get when I don’t eat. I might just pass out right here."

She crossed her arms, still glaring at him. "That’s not going to work on me. You’re perfectly capable of feeding yourself."

Vineet pouted, leaning his head to the side like a disappointed puppy. "But I’m exhausted, Ana. Traveling, working non-stop, and now my wife doesn’t even want to take care of me?" He clasped his hands together, mock pleading. "Please, I need your love and care. Just one meal."

Anamika shook her head, resisting the urge to smile. "You’ve got some nerve, demanding I feed you after what you said earlier. That joke of yours—"

"Okay, okay," Vineet interrupted, holding up his hands in surrender. "I’m sorry again about the joke, really. I’ve learned my lesson. No more dumb comments about professors or geniuses, I promise." He paused, softening his voice. "But Ana, I’m seriously starving here."

Anamika hesitated, the memory of his earlier words still lingering in her mind. She didn’t want to give in—part of her still felt annoyed, and feeding him after all that seemed like caving too easily. But she remembered he hadn’t eaten anything all day. He’d mentioned that earlier, and she knew it wasn’t like him to go without food for so long.

With a reluctant sigh, she stood up and walked over to the counter, grabbing the plate with a few leftover bites. "You’re impossible," she muttered, but there was a trace of softness in her voice.

Vineet grinned as she sat back down beside him, holding the spoon with an exaggerated sigh. "Only because I have the best wife in the world," he teased, opening his mouth dramatically as she fed him the first bite.

She rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "Just eat," she said, trying to keep her voice stern but failing to hide her amusement.

As she fed him, Vineet couldn’t resist the occasional grin or playful comment. "This is the best meal I’ve ever had. You really should feed me more often, you know."

"Don’t push your luck," Anamika replied, but her earlier annoyance was fading, bit by bit.

Vineet swallowed another bite and leaned back, sighing contentedly. "You know, Ana, for all my teasing, I really do appreciate you."

Anamika paused for a moment, surprised by the sudden sincerity in his voice. She looked at him, her expression softening further.

"I know," she said quietly, feeding him the last bite. "But you better learn when to stop making jokes."

"Lesson learned," Vineet said, wiping his mouth dramatically. "But I’m still going to demand you feed me whenever I’m starving. That’s non-negotiable."

Anamika shook her head, but this time she let out a genuine laugh. "You’re impossible, Vineet."

"Maybe," he said, smiling. "But I’m your impossible."

With the tension finally broken, they sat together for a moment longer, the warmth slowly returning between them. Anamika still wasn’t entirely ready to forgive him, but in moments like this, she knew they would always find a way back to each other.

As Vineet finished the last bite of his meal, he leaned back in his chair, stretching his arms with exaggerated satisfaction. "Ah, I feel like a new man," he said, patting his stomach. Then, his gaze shifted toward Anamika, who had set her own plate aside without eating much.

He noticed the faint trace of exhaustion in her eyes. "Hey," he said, softening his tone, "you barely ate."

Anamika glanced at him, brushing it off. "I’m not that hungry."

Vineet raised an eyebrow, not buying it. "Oh, come on. You’ve been running around all day—taking care of the house, feeding Ansh, putting up with me. You need to eat too."

Anamika waved her hand dismissively, but Vineet wasn’t having it. He stood up and took her plate, moving it in front of her. "Nope, not happening. You fed me, now it’s my turn."

She blinked, surprised. "What? Vineet, don’t be ridiculous. I’m fine."

"Not ridiculous," he said, sitting down again with her plate in hand. "Fair. You took care of me, now let me return the favor."

Anamika raised an eyebrow, leaning back in her chair. "You’re seriously going to feed me? After all that?"

Vineet nodded, picking up the spoon with a grin. "Absolutely. I’m an equal-opportunity husband." He scooped up some rice and veggies, holding the spoon up in front of her with a playful expression. "Come on. Don’t make me chase you around the house with this spoon."

Anamika sighed, but a small smile broke through despite her best efforts to stay annoyed. "You’re impossible," she muttered.

"That’s what you love about me," Vineet teased, moving the spoon closer to her lips. Anamika hesitated for a moment but finally opened her mouth, letting him feed her the first bite.

"There we go," Vineet said with a satisfied grin. "See? Teamwork."

Anamika shook her head but let him continue. He fed her slowly, occasionally sneaking in a joke or a teasing comment about how "talented" he was at this. But all the while, his eyes held a softness that made her irritation fade little by little.

After a few bites, she looked at him with a wry smile. "You know, you’re better at this than I expected."

"Don’t sound so surprised," Vineet said with a smirk, offering her another spoonful. "I’m a man of many hidden talents."

Anamika rolled her eyes but didn’t argue. By the time he’d fed her the last bite, they were both laughing quietly, the earlier tension between them completely dissolved.

As Vineet set the plate aside, he leaned in and kissed her on the forehead, his voice dropping to a soft murmur. "You always take such good care of me, Ana. I mean it."

She looked at him, her heart softening as she saw the sincerity in his eyes. "I guess you’re not all bad," she teased, her hand gently brushing his cheek.

"Not at all," Vineet agreed, grinning. "I’m actually pretty great. And next time, I’ll keep the jokes less… dangerous."

Anamika smiled, finally letting go of the last bit of her annoyance. "Good. Because I might not be so forgiving next time."

Vineet chuckled, leaning closer. "I’ll take my chances," he whispered, stealing a quick kiss before she could protest.

This time, Anamika didn’t pull away.

After their playful moment at the dinner table, Anamika stood up and stretched, her mood finally lighter. "I’m going to bed," she said, giving Vineet a small but genuine smile before heading toward their room.

Vineet watched her go, feeling a sense of warmth settle over him. But before he followed, he decided to check on Ansh one last time. He hadn’t spent much time with his son since he got back, and the thought of the little genius tossing and turning in bed crossed his mind.

Vineet made his way down the hall to Ansh's room. He pushed the door open gently, peeking in. Sure enough, Ansh was still awake, lying on his back, staring at the ceiling with a frustrated expression.

"Hey, buddy," Vineet whispered, stepping inside. "Can’t sleep?"

Ansh turned his head and smiled when he saw his father. "Hi, Daddy. I’m trying, but my brain won't stop thinking about all the stuff I learned today."

Vineet chuckled softly, sitting on the edge of Ansh’s bed. "I get it. Sometimes your brain is just too smart for its own good, huh?"

Ansh nodded seriously. "Yeah, it keeps thinking about that math problem I solved and then about the stars and the solar system and—"

"Okay, okay," Vineet interrupted with a grin, ruffling Ansh’s hair. "Sounds like we need to quiet that big brain of yours. How about I read you a few pages from your favorite book? Will that help?"

Ansh’s eyes lit up, and he immediately sat up in bed. "Yes! Please, Daddy! Read the one about the knight and the dragon."

Vineet grabbed the well-worn book from Ansh’s bedside table and settled in, flipping to the part Ansh loved the most. The tale of a brave knight and a dragon always seemed to calm Ansh down, and Vineet knew exactly which pages to start with.

As he read, his voice gentle and soothing, Ansh’s eyelids began to droop. By the time Vineet reached the part where the knight defeated the dragon, Ansh was struggling to keep his eyes open.

"And the brave knight," Vineet whispered, closing the book softly, "returned home victorious, where he slept peacefully, dreaming of new adventures."

Ansh gave a sleepy smile, his voice barely a whisper. "Thanks, Daddy…"

"Anytime, my love," Vineet said, leaning down to kiss his forehead. "Sweet dreams."

Ansh mumbled something incoherent as he finally drifted off, his tiny body sinking deeper into the blankets.

Vineet stood up quietly, placing the book back on the table. He took one last look at his son, feeling a wave of pride wash over him. Despite all his jokes about Ansh being too smart, the boy was still just a child at heart, and moments like this reminded him of how precious those years were.

With a soft sigh, Vineet turned and quietly left the room, closing the door behind him. He made his way back to his and Anamika's room, where the soft light of the bedside lamp still glowed. Anamika was already lying in bed, reading a book.

Vineet smiled to himself as he slipped into bed beside her, feeling content. No matter how chaotic or frustrating their days could get, these were the moments that made it all worth it.

As Vineet slipped into bed beside Anamika, he noticed her deeply engrossed in the book she was reading. He leaned over, peering at the pages with a teasing grin. "Oh, look at that. My wife, the intellectual, is reading a book late at night. What’s next? Are you going to start giving me lectures on quantum physics like our Ansh?"

Anamika didn’t even look up, but he could see the faint twitch of a smile at the corner of her lips. "Vineet, don’t start," she said, her voice exasperated but playful.

Vineet couldn’t resist pushing her buttons. "Come on, Ana. You’ve already fed me, you’ve forgiven me, and now you’re reading in bed like the perfect wife. Are you trying to show off how amazing you are? Tum dono maa bete mujhe gawar feel karwa rahe ho tumhe pata bhi hai?"

Anamika rolled her eyes, closing the book with an exaggerated sigh. "Do you ever stop talking?"

Without giving her a chance to answer, Vineet reached over, cupping her face gently and pulling her toward him. Before she could protest, he pressed his lips against hers in a deep, lingering smooch.

At first, Anamika tried to keep up her guard, but it didn’t take long for her to melt into his kiss, her hands resting on his chest. When he finally pulled away, a mischievous smile spread across his face. "You were saying?"

Anamika blinked, trying to compose herself. "You’re insufferable," she muttered, but the breathlessness in her voice gave her away.

"Oh, I know," Vineet whispered, leaning in again, this time nipping gently at her neck. "But I’m also irresistible, aren’t I?"

Before she could answer, his hands began to wander, teasingly running down her sides, making her shiver. Anamika bit her lip, torn between pushing him away and giving in to the heat building between them.

"Vineet, I swear—" she started, but her voice hitched when his lips trailed down her collarbone.

"Swear what?" he teased, his fingers skillfully slipping under her shirt. "That you’ll punish me for earlier? Or that you’ll stop pretending you don’t want this?"

Anamika groaned in frustration, but her body betrayed her, arching instinctively toward him. "You’re… impossible," she breathed, her words laced with both pleasure and annoyance.

"I know," Vineet replied with a smirk, his hands exploring her skin, every touch making her grip the sheets harder. He was relentless, teasing her at every turn, drawing out soft gasps and moans as he continued to kiss and caress her in all the right places.

Every time Anamika tried to regain control, Vineet would push her further, a playful smile never leaving his face. He reveled in the way she squirmed between pleasure and exasperation, her desire fighting with her need to stay annoyed with him.

"You… always have to make things difficult, don’t you?" she managed to say between breaths, her voice trembling as his hand skimmed over her waist and down her thigh.

"Of course," Vineet whispered in her ear, his breath hot against her skin. "What fun would it be otherwise?"

Her frustration only fueled him further, and before long, their clothes were discarded, and they were wrapped around each other, lost in the heat of the moment. Anamika tried to hold onto her irritation, but each touch, each kiss, made her lose herself a little more.

As they moved together, Vineet never stopped teasing. "Still mad at me?" he asked, his voice low and smug.

Anamika glared at him, her nails digging into his back as he thrust into her, making her gasp. "Shut up," she muttered breathlessly, her body betraying her words as she pulled him closer.

But Vineet just grinned, clearly enjoying every second of her struggle. "I’ll take that as a no," he whispered, leaning down to kiss her again.

Their lovemaking was a perfect mix of frustration and passion, with Anamika caught between the pleasure he gave her and the annoyance she couldn’t quite let go of. But by the end, as they both collapsed back onto the bed, breathless and satisfied, Anamika’s annoyance had all but melted away.

Vineet pulled her into his arms, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "See? You can’t stay mad at me for long," he teased softly.

Anamika sighed, snuggling into his chest, too tired to argue. "Just don’t push your luck," she muttered, her eyes fluttering closed.

Vineet chuckled, holding her close as they both drifted off to sleep, knowing full well he’d probably test that boundary again tomorrow. But for now, all was forgiven—at least until the next time he teased her.

The end…
