Crimson Love

Sitting in her seat, she gazes at her husband who's busy fixing something which seems impossible, his face once lace with charm was itched with frustration and anxiety. He was engrossed with the thing in hand and trying to call certain people to get help but all faded, nothing seemed to reach the help they needed while she sat quietly enjoying the serene beauty lay before her eyes.

He, Ved, a man of affluence and infectious laughter, was known for his carefree spirit. His life was a whirlwind of social gatherings, exotic vacations, and the constant pursuit of pleasure. Until one fateful night, at a friend's birthday bash, he found himself captivated by a woman who seemed to defy his usual charm.

Ritika, with her enigmatic allure and a quiet confidence, was a stark contrast to the boisterous crowd. She carried herself with an air of independence that intrigued Ved. He was instantly drawn to her, his heart doing an unexpected somersault. But Ritika wasn't easily impressed. She had a mind of her own and wasn't one to be swayed by superficiality.

Determined to win her heart, Ved embarked on a mission. He began by studying her from afar, observing her habits, her preferences, and the way she interacted with others. He learned that she was passionate about art, a voracious reader, and had a deep-seated love for nature.

Armed with this newfound knowledge, Ved crafted a series of thoughtful gestures. He sent her a bouquet of her favorite flowers, accompanied by a handwritten note quoting a poem she had mentioned in passing. He left a book he knew she would enjoy at her favorite coffee shop, with a small note tucked inside.

Ritika was surprised and touched by Ved's attention, but she remained guarded. She wasn't accustomed to such persistent courtship, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to let someone in. However, Ved's genuine interest and his willingness to go the extra mile began to soften her heart.

As their friendship blossomed, Ved realized that Ritika was more than just a pretty face. She was intelligent, witty, and had a depth of character that he found incredibly attractive. He fell deeper in love with her every day, and he was determined to show her that he was worth her time.

Ritika, initially hesitant, found herself drawn to Ved's sincerity and persistence. His thoughtful gestures and genuine interest were unlike anything she had experienced before. Slowly, she began to open up to him, sharing her dreams, her fears, and her hopes for the future.

One evening, as they sat by the lake, watching the sunset, Ved gathered his courage and confessed his feelings for Ritika. He told her how he had been captivated by her from the moment he saw her, and how she had changed his life in ways he never thought possible.

Ritika was taken aback but not surprised. She had felt a growing connection to Ved as well, and she realized that she was falling for him. With a trembling voice, she admitted her feelings for him, admitting that she had been afraid to let herself love again.

Their relationship blossomed into something beautiful and profound. They discovered a shared passion for adventure, a love of good food, and a deep respect for each other's individuality. They traveled together, laughed together, and supported each other through life's ups and downs.

Ved had won Ritika's heart not with his wealth or his charm, but with his kindness, his patience, and his unwavering love. He was ready to turn down the word for her.

As their relationship deepened, Ved and Ritika began to discuss their future. They talked about marriage, children, and building a life together. Their dreams aligned perfectly, and they were both excited about the prospect of spending the rest of their lives together.

One evening, under a canopy of twinkling stars, Ved got down on one knee and proposed to Ritika. She was overjoyed and accepted without hesitation. Their engagement was a celebration of love, joy, and the promise of a lifetime together.

Their wedding was a lavish affair, filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt blessings. As they exchanged vows, they reaffirmed their commitment to each other, promising to love, honor, and cherish each other forever.

… ..

Ritika let out a deep breath as the nostalgia hit her, their story more like a Karan Johar production was perfect in all aspects. She can't ask more, Ved was by her side ready to do anything and everything for her. He often says, he can even get the stars if she desires and she knows he means it. She has seen the love filled in his eyes - those eyes deeper than ocean!

A smile crept on her lips, he created magic on her. She looks out of the window, her cheek turning crimson at the mere thought of him.

“Damn it!!”

She was startled and instantly turned only to find a frustrated Ved punching on the bonet.

“Kya hua? How long is it going to take?” She asks, a little bored by now. It's been hours that they are stuck in the middle of an empty road.

“I have no idea Sweetie! Na ye thik ho rahi hai na hi kissi ka call lag raha hai, bas mera dimag kharab ho raha hai!!” He grunted, she can clearly see how annoyed he was by the fact that he's not able to fix his car.

Ritika sighs, a help was needed urgently.

“You don't worry, main karta hoon kuch!” He assured her, rolling his eyes over the car, trying to figure out what is the actual problem with it.

Ritika nods, all she could do was wait.

…..

The sun had dipped low in the sky, casting long shadows across the deserted road. Ved stood by the side of his car, hands smudged with oil and frustration creasing his brow. His eyes swept over the vast, empty stretch of road ahead—there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the towering hills surrounding them and the cool, evening breeze that did little to calm his nerves. He’d spent the entire day trying to fix the car, but nothing worked. No help had come, and no vehicle had passed by. It was as if they were stranded in a world of their own.

Leaning against the car, Ved sighed heavily, glancing over at Ritika. She sat inside, her arms crossed, staring out the window. He knew she was upset. They were supposed to be on their honeymoon, heading to the beautiful hills of Shimla, but instead, they were stuck on an empty road, miles from their destination. To make matters worse, their first night as husband and wife had been ruined by an unexpected visit from his old friend, leaving both of them yearning for the intimacy they had yet to share.

Ritika shifted in her seat, her impatience evident in the way she tapped her foot and glanced at Ved with an unspoken desire simmering in her eyes. The air between them was thick, not just with the frustration of the day, but with the tension that had been building ever since their wedding.

As the last traces of daylight began to fade, casting the surroundings in a soft twilight glow, Ritika couldn’t take it anymore. She stepped out of the car, her bare feet crunching softly on the gravel as she approached Ved. Without saying a word, she reached for his hand, her touch gentle but firm. He looked up, startled by the intensity in her gaze.

"Ritika..." he began, but she silenced him with a look that sent a shiver down his spine.

“We’ve wasted enough time, Ved,” she said, her voice low, laced with both frustration and desire. "We’re alone, miles from anyone. No one’s coming. Let’s not waste any more time.”

Before Ved could respond, Ritika tugged him toward the backseat of the car. He hesitated for a moment, but the determination in her eyes, the heat in her touch, wiped away any resistance. She pushed him down onto the seat, and in that instant, the frustrations of the day melted away, replaced by a burning need for each other that had been bottled up for far too long.

“Sweetie, we're in the middle of a road!!” He reminded her.

“Yeah! And not even a bird has flown by the moment we are here!!” She shot him a glare, was it needed to remind how bad in a situation they were when she was trying to do something good to both of them?

No!!

“Haan!! I mean you're right, but just in case…” He tried to reason.

“No one is coming, Ved, we have waited enough!!” She exclaims, her voice deep and husky. At that moment he chose to give up and he did.

Ritika straddled him, her hands gripping his shoulders as she leaned in, her lips capturing his in a kiss that was anything but gentle. It was hungry, desperate, filled with all the passion they’d been holding back since their wedding. Ved’s hands found her waist, pulling her closer as the world outside disappeared. There was no broken car, no deserted road—just the two of them, their bodies entwined in the dim, fading light of evening.

The small space of the car’s backseat did nothing to contain the fire between them. Ritika’s fingers threaded through Ved’s hair, tugging him closer as their kisses deepened, growing more frenzied with each passing second. Their breaths came in short, ragged gasps, the heat between them growing unbearable.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment,” Ritika whispered against his lips, her voice thick with emotion and desire. “Since the moment we said our vows.”

Ved’s heart pounded in his chest as he gazed up at her, his hands moving over her back, pulling her closer still. He could feel the weight of everything she had been holding in—her frustration, her longing, her love—all of it pouring out in the way she touched him, kissed him, moved against him.

“I’m yours,” he breathed, his voice rough with emotion. “Now and always.”

The words seemed to ignite something in Ritika, and she moved with renewed fervor, her body molding to his as they lost themselves in each other. The car rocked gently, the sounds of their love echoing in the stillness of the hills, the cool night air doing little to dampen the heat between them.

She pulled herself in a breathless state, shifting herself on his lap, her legs on his both sides, she slid down her dress from her shoulder giving some pleasant surprise to his eyes.

She pressed herself onto him, planting open mouth kisses on his neck while her hands explored his chest and removed his shirt. He happily slid that piece of clothing away, pulling her closer to feel her skin, his hand tracing her back and mouth heated her chest and cleavage.

She groans and moans his name as he takes the charge. Her dress now meets his feet, leaving her in lingerie. She hissed, arching herself to him, wanting for more and he fulfilled all her desires, caressing her sweet points with his thumb, the tension and desire in the surrounding thickens as he laid her on the seat. He kissed every curve of her, each nook and finally claimed her lips. She holds his hair, pulling him close.

Her heart pounds when the sound of his zipper echoed in that close space. She wraps her legs around his waist, ready to experience something most beautiful.

Time became a blur as they made love, her mind blank for a moment as he entered her in swift move, she let out a pleasurable cry arching her back, her moan pushing him to the edges. He went slow at first, then fast, their bodies moving in perfect harmony as if the entire world outside had ceased to exist. Every kiss, every touch, was a promise—a reminder that no matter what, they were in this together, bound by a love that couldn’t be broken by a broken-down car or ruined first nights.

When it was over, they lay in each other’s arms, their breaths mingling in the quiet of the backseat. The night had fully descended now, and the stars twinkled faintly above them, the only witnesses to their moment of passion.

Ritika smiled, her head resting on Ved’s chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath her ear. “Now this feels like a honeymoon,” she murmured, her voice soft, content.

Ved chuckled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “I guess breaking down in the middle of nowhere wasn’t so bad after all.” he states.

She looked up at him, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Maybe next time, we should just stay stranded.”

He laughed, pulling her closer. "Maybe we should."

“I love you!!” She expressed, pecking on his chest.

He tilted his head and smooched her lips, “I love you too!!”

And with that, they drifted into a peaceful silence, the warmth of their love surrounding them as the hills stood guard, their secret kept by the night.

… .

The end…
