This is a cute one shot back when Yuzuki and Sasuke were both in the village and before they broke up.

Sasuke and Yuzuki sat next to each other under the shade of a cherry blossom tree in the park, munching on yakitori that Yuzuki had made for the two. The Uchiha was reluctant to go on a walk but the girl dragged him along anyways.

Their shoulders bumped against each other as she leaned over, pecking him on the cheek. A light rosy color appeared on his cheeks, he turned his head away in embarrassment. "Aw, you're so cute!" Cooed the girl, pinching his cheek. Grabbing her by the wrist, he pried her hand away from his cheek. He turned his head to face her, an annoyed expression on his face.

That annoyed expression quickly changed to embarrassment as he came face to face with her, their noses touching. Their cheeks flushed as they made eye contact. Sasuke quickly regained his composure, noticing how Yuzuki was still blushing furiously. Smirking, he snaked his arm around her waist, pulling her against him.

The girl's eyes widened before fluttering closed as his lips landed on hers. There was a collective 'aw' from a group of women pushing strollers walking by, causing the two to pull apart. Yuzuki had her head in her hands, flustered. The Uchiha was still smirking.

When the women were gone Yuzuki looked back up, glaring at her raven haired companion. "You know I get flustered when you do that!" She smacked his arm.

"Hn," he shrugged, looking at her from the corners of his eyes. The girl pouted, turning away from him. Sasuke did the same, thinking that she would be the first to break and try to get his attention again.

After what seemed like forever the Uchiha frowned. He turned his head back, finding that she was still turned away from him. Although he didn't say it, he really wanted her to turn around and talk to him. But, he sure did show it. Sasuke turned back to face her, grabbing her arm and turning her back to him. "Sasuke!"

Without saying anything, he linked his hand with hers, light pink on his cheeks as he looked forward. "Oh, Sasuke," mumbled the girl, squeezing his hand lightly and leaning on his shoulder. This was fine to Sasuke. As they sat there, the two dozed off. The boy's head lulled to the side, resting atop Yuzuki's as he fell asleep.

An hour had passed until they were found by the rest of Team Seven. They had missed their rendezvous with them and so Sakura suggested that they go look for them because Yuzuki told her something about going for a walk in the park.

When they found them, Kakashi was ready to throttle the Uchiha but when he stepped forward Sakura stopped him. "Kakashi-sensei! Can't you see they're having a moment!"

"Yeah, and I don't like it." Kakashi retorted, glaring at a sleeping Sasuke.

Naruto was currently kneeling down before the sleeping ninja, poking them in their cheeks. "Naruto stop!" The cherry blossom growled, dragging Naruto back by his collar.

"Why can't we just wake them up, Sakura-chan?!"

"As much as I hate to say it, they're actually cute together. I mean look at them!" Sakura gestured to their locked hands and their heads that were resting against each other. The older Hatake rolled his eyes, realizing Sakura was on to something. Which only made him hate it more.

"Nuh uh, not my daughter," the man went to go pull the two apart but Naruto and Sakura were blocking his way this time.

"Kakashi-sensei, I thought you were more mature than this," Sakura quipped, challenging the silver headed ninja.

"I'm willing to forgo that maturity if it means keeping his grimy hands off of my daughter," he looked down at his subordinates, darkness in his gaze.

"But Kakashi-sensei, they clearly like each other. Maybe even love each other. Somehow he managed so get her to like his arrogant ass." Naruto tried to reason.

No. Love? My daughter loves... him?

Kakashi was utterly disgusted. Why couldn't it be someone else? Like Neji or even... Naruto. But Sasuke? The father was shaking. Why did she like the arrogant Uchiha? He was too much like a younger Kakashi.

"Just let them be, Kakashi-sensei, you can lecture them some other time," Sakura and Naruto dragged him away while he cried.

Sasuke peeked one eye open, having been awake the whole time since the group was so loud. He peered down at Yuzuki, a soft expression on his usually stoic features. No one was looking so he was able to let go a little. The Uchiha lifted her head off his shoulder, moving her to where she was leaning against his chest with her head resting above his heart.

A little drool was dripping from the corner of her mouth, but he merely wiped it away, not minding it at all. He would do anything for her, he realized it awhile ago. She made him feel things he hadn't felt in a long time, something no other person had been able to do. She was his sun. His lantern in the dark.

Her free hand reached up, clinging onto the front of his shirt. Sasuke turned his head up to look at the afternoon sky, resting a hand atop her head.

Yes, this is perfect.
