Deep feelings of wanderlust,
                Craving long travels,
                            Compass old with rust,
                Necessities arranged in bag by levels.
                       
                           Map folded and tucked by the side,
                Slipping on light clothes and hiker boots,
                           Ready for a trek not a ride,
                Stuffing the hardly unneeded to the bag roots.

                          Taking in deep breaths,
                Looking behind and reminiscing,
                          Determined to travel lengths,
                Slow steps, time to get going.
