14. TO MY DEAR HYACINTH-FROM YOUR SUN
PLEASE. I keep on seeing Hyacinthus and Apollo's story and this needed to be done. And as someone who makes poems and often dedicate it to Apollo, this is so right.
I am sobbing while writing this.

To My Dear Hyacinth—From Your Sun
You were quite a little charmer,
A beautiful promising man with alluring bronze skin and a bright smile,
Yes, you had the audacity to promise that you'll get the sun smitten,
You're well aware of Icarus yet you still dared to fly closer,
You were a hopeless case, fragile yet a daredevil.
But I could only smile with your silly antics and live with my own contradictions.
You were very amusing, smiling goofily like a little kid,
Dared to offer me companionship when I said I was never lonely.
You're well aware of how many lovers I had, each one led me to tears when I offered nothing but honesty,
I asked you if you could bare responsibility if one day, I'll look your way,
You held my hand as if it was so natural and you looked at me with warmth that stirred my heart.
I never asked you to choose me, not of obedience or fear,
You were a popular man, swooned with the male and female flock,
Did you know I was so afraid that even Aphrodite would set her eyes on you?
No, I cannot afford to deal with another god.
You laughed at me and played a song with my favorite lyre,
A dedication only for me that could rival even the Muses.
You once told me how I caught your attention, how my eyes radiate warmth and reminded you the sun,
You're a shameless liar and I was a desperate fool,
How I wished that I could give you the sun when I witnessed how life left your eyes,
And here I am sending you hyacinths, all alone in the dark.
Seeking forgiveness for not being able to protect you like how I said I would.
I am sorry even in death I couldn't let you go,
I'll be selfish even to Hades,
I want to keep the silly boy who dared made the sun madly fall in love,
It hurts.
I just want to be with you even if it'll scar me forever.
