This is a chance for you to get a peek behind the scenes and dive deeper into the world of Serendipity Springs and its quirky characters. I’ll be answering some of your most burning questions about the story’s inspiration, character arcs, and the unexpected twists that lie ahead.

1. What inspired you to create Serendipity Springs and the Festival of Quirks?

   - Answer: Well, I had the idea to write a story about soulmates, but with a twist. They'd be from different parts of the world and it would take a lot for them to meet. So I thought of how they'd both find out about their soulmates, where they are to meet and how long it would take them to actually fall in love. So the name Serendipity Springs came. I also wanted the story to be funny, so I thought of a bunch of events that would bring out the weirdness and humor. So, the festival of Quirks came to be.

2. Are there any characters based on real people?

   - Answer: Uhm... yes, I think. Taryn- I created her based on my personality and some things I do. Also, the siblings, Lee An and Lee Jun's characters are also based on the relationship between me and my siblings. Every character has pieces of people I know, but none are directly based on anyone in particular.

3. Why did Oliver and Samantha break up?

   - Answer: Without giving too much away, let’s say that both had dreams that pulled them in different directions. Oliver is still dealing with that unresolved tension. And Samantha… well, she may or may not have more up her sleeve than we first expect.

4. Will there be romance?

   - Answer: Yes! Yes! Romance is woven into many of the character arcs, but it’s not always traditional or straightforward. Some of these budding romances may surprise you, and others will tease and develop slowly.

5. Do you have a favorite character?

   - Answer: Oh no! It’s hard to pick! Each character has qualities I love—Oliver’s thoughtful nature, Chandler’s dry humor, Lee An’s optimism. But if I had to choose, Quinn has been fun to write about because of his laid-back, go-with-the-flow charm that contrasts with everyone else’s quirks.

6. How do you come up with the festival events?

   - Answer: A lot of brainstorming and asking myself, “What would make this place feel like a festival no one would forget, and also really weird and fun?” It’s all about thinking of activities that are both hilarious and unique, things that let characters shine or make fools of themselves in the best ways.

7. Will we get to see more of the characters backstory?

   - Answer: Yes! Their past, including their relationships, how they became friends and a lot more, are somethings I’m excited to reveal.

8. Why is Blake so sarcastic with Aiden?

   - Answer: Blake and Aiden have a history that makes their interactions layered with both irritation and lingering attachment. Their bickering has become a sort of comfort for both, though they’d be the last to admit it.

9. How do you plan to end the story?

    - Answer: Without revealing too much, I want the ending to feel as quirky and heartwarming as the journey. There will be closure for each character’s arc, and some surprises along the way. A few storylines may even be left open to keep the mystery alive—just like in real life.

10. Will there be more surprises or unexpected twists?

    - Answer: Absolutely! I believe in keeping readers on their toes. There are a few twists, both big and small, that will add depth and surprise, especially as the festival ramps up.

11. How do the characters feel about the “find your soulmate” rumor going around?

    - Answer: Some are intrigued, some are skeptical, and some would rather avoid it altogether! It’s funny to see who embraces the festival’s legend and who brushes it off, and it might just be the ones who doubt it the most that end up being surprised.

12. What’s with the “soulmate” idea? Is it real?

    - Answer: You’ll have to wait and see! The festival has its share of mystical traditions, and while some characters think it’s all just folklore, others might get caught up in the magic of it.
