Prologue
"Listen!" The young man snarled, his eyes flashing, "It is happening, and we have reason to believe that it is your doing!"
"Now my dear Soren, don't be naive, I am sure you are wrong." A figure hidden in the corner of the cell opposite of him drawled, voice laced with contempt.
Soren growled and continued, "Three temples in El-sekii vanished, disappeared." He approached the shadow, his voice with a dangerous edge, "I think as the Herald of Hycre I can remember where they are...... Where they were, as you seemed to have spirited them away along with some of my comrades. Now I ask again, what have you done!"
Now, the figure had stayed silent, not because she was guilty of the crime, but because she had encountered a similar problem and had no clue to who, or what the culprit was. Yet she was the Herald of Illios, and she could not tell him that her Elder has abandoned her as well, She composed herself and let out a laugh, a chilling one that carried her power through the Mycanium bars and had Soren shiver with a touch of fear, although he was the one who captured her, through trickery of course. With the strength of seven men, he shook the bars of the cell, which resulted in a mini earthquake for the occupant. However, the Mycanium held, as it was designed to hold even the most powerful of the Heralds, thus the bars were not even scratched.
"You will not be laughing once I deal with the rest of your Order. It is high time that the Order of Illios be eradicated!"
And in all parts of the world, old grudges simmer, ancient rivalies awakened. Order is pit against Order, Sect is pit against Sect. Entire temples are vanishing without a trace, and the Heralds are confused, abandoned by their Elders. On top of that, this roleplay book is strangely named Serendipity.
