Nadia Novak was in a terrible plane crash as a teenager. In fact, the crash had cost her a leg. But she channeled her newfound fear into something to help others.

She became a mechanic, specializing in aerospace vehicles. She was now the one fixing, adjusting, and making changes to planes and jets that can and will save lives.

So when she's told that she is to be the lead mechanic for a new Top Gun detachment, it's surprising but not unwelcome news.

Along with her best friend and fellow mechanic, Ivy Finch and her brother, Lex Marin, Nadia will be navigating something she had never expected to do.
