They came from different directions and then, 

Struck each other with a force so strong. 

Ignited themselves to warmth, God-sent —

Flames they were, fierce fury gone wrong. 

Their hearts were on fire, illuminating their world. 

They melted together and mended each other.

But the heat was inevitable. With time, it burned 

And destroyed the two fire hearts eternally bound.

Now all that is left of them is ashes on the ground.
