Sana:thank God we didn't inform aunty about this,we will handle everything until she arrives

Shehnaaz said while unlocking the door.Sidharth sighed and nodded at her words.They both entered the house and could hear the shouting making them more tense.They were grateful that they had got the flight and arrived here as soon as possible.

Sid:let's go......chaos is waiting for us

Sana:I really don't know what happened now.........they were so happy when we had left

Sidharth and Shehnaaz followed the noise which brought them to their living room where everyone was present including Sidhansh who was looking at his broken phone with a sad pout .

Samira:no,go.....you all go,I don't want to talk to you guys anymore

Ariel:see what you both did......Samaira trust me, it's just because of them I am going.......I don't want to go

Samaira:so stay with me

Samaira said with a choked voice and looked hopefully towards Ariel to which Ariel nodded.

Aditya:Ariel,it's your last year dammit!! You can't miss it

Mohit:Aditya

Aditya shouts in frustration while running his hands through his hairs.Mohit came forward and patted his shoulder,trying to calm him.He understood Aditya's point of view but he also knew how sensitive the situation had become now.

Samaira:yeah,right.......go just go,leave me alone!!

Sidhansh:you are not alone

Sidhansh said as matter of fact in reply to which he received two glares.One from Samaira and one from Ariel.

Sid:what's happening here?

"Finally, you came dad"

"They are leaving,dad"

"Because our work needs us,Samaira"

Sidharth's eyebrows furrowed and his mouth formed the shape of an O as he heard the simultaneous answers from them.But a sense of relief washed over him when he got to knew the matter was not that serious.

Sana:you all are leaving,so soon?

Samaira:exactly naazu that's what I am telling

Aditya:dad called me up yesterday Sana,he said there's an important meeting in the company and also Ariel has to return as it's her last year and she can't miss it

Mohit:but I still don't know why you are still continuing there and living in the hostel(murmurs)

Ariel:because it's my 12th and I can't drop it midway, duffer

Ariel said and smacked him.She was standing close to him so heard his words properly and the next moment glared at him.Mohit just rubbed his head and glared back at her.

Sid:that means this bandar is finally leaving(whisper)

A ghost smile appeared on Sidharth's face finally processing their words.Shehnaaz who was standing beside him heard him and elbowed him for uttering such words.She shook her head in disbelief and looked at their sad faces.She signaled everyone to move out of the room.

Sana:you too Sidhansh

As she noticed Sidhansh sitting on the sofa sulking looking at his broken phone.

Sidhansh:naazu,she broke my phone

Sana:Sidhansh there was nothing important in that,just few contacts which I will add after repairing it

Sidhansh:she also hid my video games and forcibly dragged me here

Sidhansh said pointing at Samaira and whining thinking about his beloved video games.Shehnaaz sighed and then gave him a stern look .

Sana:Sidhansh

Sidhansh:fine,fine I am going

Sidhansh rushed into his room not wanting to face his naazu's anger.

Video games, I will find you soon......don't lose hope!!

Sana:now tell me,what happened?

Samaira remained silent hearing Shehnaaz's words but the next moment attacked her with a sudden hug and started sobbing.Shehnaaz slowly wrapped her hands around her and rubbed her back.She knew Samaira first needed to vent out all her hidden emotions before saying anything.

Samaira:they are leaving,naazu

She said in a quiet voice still hugging Shehnaaz tightly. Shehnaaz's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she didn't understand her words.

Sana:it's not a goodbye Samaira, they will come back soon

Samaira:I know it's not a goodbye but it's......it's.....not easy

Yes,it was not easy for her.Not easy for a girl who had maximum lived 4 months away from her bestfriends.Even if in the hostel,they didn't live together but Ariel was there with her always and Aditya and Mohit often came to meet her.But now,due to the long distance she knew she wouldn't be able to see them much and that ached her heart.She was just behaving like a little kid who had got a person who would give him lots of chocolates and love without scolding and now when that person wanted to leave to her/his original home,the kid didn't wanna leave his favourite person.That was the condition of Samaira.She wanted to keep them with her always.

But,the sad reality is I can't!!

Sana:it's not easy for you,for them but they have to do it,right? For their family, for their work and for themselves........and you know na,as soon as their work will finish they will come back to you

Samaira:they will?

Samaira asked after breaking the hug with a new found hope in her voice making Shehnaaz smile that she succeeded .

Sana:ofcourse they will,Ariel will complete her plus two and come here only and Aditya has also told me that as soon as his project in Delhi completes, he will come back here only and though I don't know about Mohit but I am sure Ariel will drag him with her

Samaira:yeah,she will(chuckles)

Samaira chuckled and nodded at Shehnaaz as a gesture saying thank you to her and also asking her to call them so that this time, she does not create any crying scene.This time she will happily see them off with a hope that they will return back to her only .

Mohit:this is why I told Sidhansh to call Sana because she can only calm this young lady

Sidhansh:at what cost? My phone getting damaged by her

Sidhansh made an angry face and refused to look at Samaira making everyone laugh.Sidharth stood silently at a corner of the room and smiled at his small family.

Please God always protect my family and their happiness!!

Ariel:I am gonna miss you so much

Ariel said and hugged Samaira tightly who reciprocated it and controlled her tears that were already at the brink of her eyes.Mohit and Aditya looked at each other before hugging the girls together and stumbling them a bit.All of them laughed with tears and also with a hope that they would be reunited soon.

Mohit:argh,I didn't thought this would be so difficult

Aditya:yeah man

Shehnaaz,Sidhansh and Sidharth gazed at their happy yet crying faces and couldn't help but feel the pain themselves.In these days,they saw the beautiful friendship among the four and how close they all were.Truly,their presence had brightened their home also.Sidharth had saw the way they laughed,smiled,hugged and cried and felt Samaira to be really fortunate to get such good friends.

Sidhansh saw them and wished to get friends like them in future.He had friends in school but he was not so close to any of his friends.

Samaira:Family hug dad,naazu and Ansh.......come fast

Their trance was broken by Samaira's voice.They happily nodded and joined the hug.Together they smiled,laughed and enjoyed their moment, together like a complete family.

Sid:the door of my house is always open for all of you

Aditya:for me also uncle?

Aditya asked Sidharth with a smirk still being in the family hug.Sidharth annoyingly looked at him and answered him in his overly sweet voice.

Sid:yes,for you also bandar

Sana/Samaira:Sidharth/Dad

Ariel:That's the correct word for him uncle,I truly agree with you

Ariel said and did a quick hi-fi with him.The whole room erupted into a loud laughter leaving a whining Aditya behind.

Sana:Samaira, don't just lazily lie on the couch.......do something

Shehnaaz said as she noticed Samaira sulking lying on the couch with a frowning face.Sidharth got a call from Sameer so he had to leave urgently.

Samaira:what should I do naazu?

Sana:go out with Ansh,have fun with each other,spend some sibling time

Sidhansh:nice idea naazu but I can't

Sidhansh coming out of his room with his small backpack and sitting on the couch to tie his shoelaces.

Samaira:see he doesn't like his sister anymore and doesn't want to spend time with his lovely sister

Samaira said dramatically and clutching her heart with a hurt face.Sidhansh rolled his eyes and looked towards Shehnaaz to explain but to his surprise, she was glaring at him.

Don't tell me,she actually believed this drama queen?!!

Sidhansh:naazu first listen to me before believing this drama queen.........I have football practice right now so I can't go out with Sam

Sana:now?

Sidhansh:yup,Rohan messaged me

Sana:should I drop you? And Samaira we can-

Samaira:don't worry naazu if he doesn't have time for me,I will call my student cum brother

Samaira said wiping her fake tear and innerly patting herself for coming up with this idea.She picked up her phone and dialed the number.

Sana:student cum brother?

Sidhansh:naazu leave her,you know na,she is crazy.......will you please make sandwiches for me, I will take them with me.....pretty please?

Sana:I will make but don't say such things about your sister,Ansh

Shehnaaz explained him with a smile and ruffled his hair before disappearing into the kitchen.Sidhansh sat on the couch and Samaira voice entered his ears making him suspicious.

Samaira:yeah,please please can you come now with him to my home?pretty please.........oh you can't come but you can drop him,right?.......yeah,2 hours would be fine and I assure you I will take care of him......thank you,thank you so much.......byeeee

Sidhansh:so your another brother is coming?

Sidhansh asked with a scowl on his face as he couldn't stop the jealousy arising inside of him listening to Samaira talk about another person.A person who was trying to take his place in Samaira's place.He wanted to stay now and see that so called new brother of hers but he also feared his coach.

Samaira:yeah,he is.......he is a good brother

Sidhansh:so go stay with him only

Samaira coughed to control her laughter but alas,she couldn't hold it anymore. She laughed holding her stomach looking at his cute jealous face.Her laughter annoyed Sidhansh more and looked the other side,ignoring her.

Samaira:acha baba, I am sorry........main mazak kar rahi thi,you are my one and only brother

Samaira said hugging him from back and kissing his cheek.Sidhansh tried to resist himself but his lips automatically curved upwards in a smile.

Sana:Sidhansh, your sandwiches

Shehnaaz said and kept it in his backpack .She ruffled both of their's hairs and sat on the adjacent couch.Her mind sometimes wandering towards what happened back in Delhi and sometimes thinking about her future.She herself knew she had made the right decision, just wanted her mom to know that too.

Sidhansh:naazu, naazu

Sana:yes

Sidhansh:where were you lost?

Sana:nowhere......by the way kiddo,at what time is your pratice?

Sidhansh:umm,10:30

Sana:oh okay.......WHAT

Firstly, Shehnaaz replied him with just an ok but then she remembered seeing the clock while coming from the kitchen. She immediately turned her head and looked at the wall clock behind her.It was showing 10:10.

Sana:SIDHANSH SHUKLA,just look at the time

Shehnaaz shouted in order to wake him up and look at the clock.She saw his eyes growing wide and immediately he was on his feet.

Sidhansh:bye naazu, bye Sam

Sidhansh quickly took his bag and sprinted towards the door.Finally realizing that he was going to be late.

Sana:kya karu main iss larke ka........and Samaira clean the table before your guests come

Sidhansh:aaj toh tu gaya,Sidhansh.......will coach leave me today?ek baar toh he had left me saying not to do next time but iss baar......oh God,kyu bana main captain

Sidhansh was continuously cursing himself and running as fast as he can.He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't saw someone coming towards him making him collide with the other person.The bag the other person was holding fell and also the contents of it scattered on the ground.

Sidhansh stopped at a distance realizing his mistake.He turned around and saw a girl sitting on the ground and picking the papers.She was dressed in a simple yellow top that was paired up with black jeans.Her face was covered with her hair so he couldn't see much.

Sidhansh:I am really sorry mam,I am sorry.......I would gladly help you but I am in a hurry so I can't, sorry

Saying so,Sidhansh again turned around and ran towards his driver.Not even letting the other person time to react.

Girl:it's okay,I-

She stopped on seeing no one present there.She huffed and again concentrated on picking up the papers.

Girl:kiddo(shaking her head).......like really what has happened to kids these days? One my brother who doesn't even care his sister is following him or not and the other him........RISHI wait

She stood up after picking up all the papers and going behind Rishi who was currently out of her sight.

Great,what a great brother have I got!!

Girl:Zoe hurry up before he creates any chaos

Sidhansh:driver uncle,let's go

Sidhansh said grasping for breath after running so much.The driver passed the water bottle for him to drink water and calm down.Sidhansh took it after mumbling a small thank you and drank water.

Driver:baba apne sab le liya haina?

Sidhansh:ha,sandwiches, water bottle,phone toh tut gaya tha,captain badge......shit

Sidhansh held his head in frustration remembering that he had forgot his captain badge.

Sidhansh:I wish I had my phone now,I could have called up naazu and told her to bring to me......but no,Samaira had to break it today only,arghh

Driver looked at Sidhansh confusingly not understanding if he should start the car or not but before he could do something, they both heard a knock on the window.

Sidhansh:Dad

Sidhansh's face brightened up seeing Sidharth.He immediately opened the car's door and went out.

Sid:where are you going,Ansh?

Sidhansh:football practice,dad

Sid:okay

Sidhansh:dad,can I ask you a favor?.....please,please

Sid:ofcourse

Sidharth chuckled seeing Sidhansh's puppy face.He loosened his tie and waited for Sidhansh to say it.

Sidhansh:can you bring my captain badge from my room? Please dad......it's inside my study table's drawer

Sid:why don't you come with me and take it yourself only........what if I fail to find it?

Sidhansh:dad,I can't.......I am already late,coach will not leave me today

Sid:okay,that's the problem........don't worry Ansh,you come with me and I will quickly change and drop you......I will personally talk with your coach about your delay,okay champ?

Sidhansh thought for a while and then nodded thinking his coach will not scold him if his dad talks with him.He quickly took his bag and they both started walking towards their home.

Sidhansh:dad you go and change till then I will quickly bring my badge from my room

Sid:okay Ansh and calm down

Sidharth left him at the door and went towards his room.Sometimes,he really thinks that how scary is his coach that Sidhansh fears him so much.Today he will finally meet him and he has already made up his to give him a good lecture.

Sidhansh:okay Sidhansh, lag ja kaam pe

He had opened his shoes and was going to step inside when he noticed the same girl with whom he had collided standing in the living room of his house.Numerous questions were arising in his mind but he controlled them knowing he had not much time.He entered inside and his eyes fell on his badge lying on the table.He quickly picked it up thinking maybe Shehnaaz had kept it here.

Sidhansh:should I apologize to her nicely now?

He saw her laughing to something Shehnaaz had said but still couldn't see her face nicely. He took a step forward towards her direction but before he could take the other step ,Sidharth approached him.

Sid:Ansh,let's go

Sidhansh:umm,okay dad

Sidhansh gave a last glance in the girl's direction and left from there.Though a part of his heart wanted to apologize to her in a good way but he didn't pay any heed to that request of his heart.

I will apologize to her later......but right now,reaching the football ground is my first priority

Sana:Zoe you are really a beautiful and intelligent girl

Zoe:thank you aunty

Sana:you can call me Sana or naazu

Samaira:if she calls you naazu,Sidhansh will get jealous

Samaira said with a chuckle remembering the first time she had called Shehnaaz naazu infront of Sidhansh and how jealous he had got.

Rishi:Sidhansh?

Samaira:my brother

Zoe:aunty is fine with me

Sana:okay as you like,just be comfortable......Rishi,what would you like to eat?

Rishi:burger and French fries

Zoe:Rishi

Zoe give him a warning look which Rishi just ignored.Zoe shook her head at her stubborn brother and was going to refuse to Shehnaaz.But her words stopped as she heard Shehnaaz's next words.

Sana:that's fine,Zoe.......don't scold him and you also sit with him until I come back with the food

Shehnaaz smiled at the 8 year old boy who was engrossed with Samaira and they both looked so busy. The age gap didn't even seem to form a barrier between them.They looked like two bestfriends who were separated in their previous birth and had finally met now.In short,she felt happy seeing Samaira getting adjusted in Mumbai and making new friends here also.

Zoe:but I have some work

Samaira:atleast stay for half an hour,please di

Rishi:yes di

Zoe:Samaira, I told you to call me Zoe......you are just 1 year younger to me and about half an hour,I really can't

Rishi:please di......I know the place you are going is just 15 minutes away from here so please until it's time for your interview, stay with us

Samaira:pretty please

Sana:please stay Zoe and I promise,I will drop you myself there

Zoe:no no please,that's not needed.......I will stay for half an hour and then go for the interview

Rishi:yayyyy

Samaira and Zoe looked at his excited face and smiled.Zoe sat beside Rishi and quietly started listening to their talk.She was happy that her brother was finally mingling with someone other than his two school friends. He had friends but they were limited as he feared being in groups. That's one of the reason he had left his school's football team.

Zoe knew he was good at football and had left it just because of his fear which eventually disheartened her.In someway that made her doubt if she had really gave him a proper, good upbringing.

Rishi:di,di

Zoe:yeah

Zoe replied after coming out of her trance.She looked ahead and saw Rishi only sitting on the couch.Samaira was missing from there.

Zoe:where is Samaira?

Rishi:she has gone to her room to bring her skateboard so that I can see it properly

Zoe:oh okay

Rishi:di

Zoe:hmm

Rishi:was our mom also like naazu aunty?

Zoe:yes

Zoe stiffened hearing his sudden question and just replied with a small yes.Her mind was not in a state to think of a better answer to his question. Her heart ached hearing Rishi's question and remembering her mom but a question also arose in her mind.

Was Rishi getting close to Samaira and her family good for us?
