Shehnaaz shouted from the kitchen as she was busy in making the delicious dishes for the party.She still wasn't sure of the party thing but just agreed to make Sidhansh happy.But how much she tries to hide it,her heart knows that she is also doing this with a hope that Sidharth will be happy.Atleast a bit.

Sidhansh:sorry naazu,just give me 5 minutes.......I am ordering the cake

Shehnaaz sighed and nodded.She again concentrated on her cooking but not long as she heard the doorbell again.She huffed and finally decided to open the door.Not aware of the fact that she was going to get a huge shock.

Sana:Who is -

Shehnaaz couldn't complete her sentence as she was immediately engulfed in a tight bear hug.She confusingly wrapped her hands around the person's body as it felt familiar but still didn't knew her until she heard her voice.

Girl:God,I missed you so much

Sana:Samaira

It didn't took a minute to guess that it was Samaira after hearing her voice.Shehnaaz whispered softly as if making herself believe .She still hadn't processed fully when Samaira tightened the hug around her making her stumble a bit.She held the wall not wanting to fall.

Sana:are you really here?

Samaira:yeah

Indeed ,she was like the cool, gentle wind and as the wind again touched her body,her soul she felt fresh and alive.She was just breathing but wasn't living in the two days but now it felt like she was again living.Shehnaaz also tightened  the hug wanting to feel more of Samaira and not thinking it was a dream.For Samaira, it was also a surprise. She had never expected herself to be so happy to come to the place that gave her so pain.But her thinking changed ,just because of one person.Shehnaaz.

Sidhansh:comeon ladies,now don't forget this handsome boy......I also want a hug

The warm,tight hug which Shehnaaz and Samaira was sharing was broken by Sidhansh who stood there with a whining look.Shehnaaz and Samaira chuckled and broke their hug.Samaira moved forward and knelt down hugging Sidhansh. To which,he also happily wrapped his hands around her.

Sidhansh:you were coming in the evening, right?

Samaira:yeah,but a certain someone kept messaging me that if I don't come early ,he will not talk to me.......and I didn't wanna make that person upset

Sidhansh bit his tongue realizing that she was taking about him only while Samaira giggled. Shehnaaz who stood there heard their talks and was confused now.

Sana:you knew Sidhansh that she was coming?

Sidhansh:Well,I think it's time for some story time

Sidhansh broke the hug and entered the house followed by Shehnaaz and Samaira. Samaira kept walking slowing thinking what will be Shehnaaz's reaction when she will tell that it was her plan.

Will she be mad at me?Will she not talk to me ever?

No,no

Sidhansh:Sam ,come fast......we also have to do the preparations

Sana:chill kiddo,we have time

Shehnaaz said ruffling his hair and sitting beside him on the couch.Well,she was also anxious but didn't showed it on her face.She was anxious to know that why Samaira is here now? Will she go back again?She couldn't stop her thinking and getting more anxious.

Is she just here for Sidharth's birthday?But why?

Samaira:SidhanshandIhadplannedthis

Sana:huh

Samaira in her nervousness said everything so fast that neither Shehnaaz nor Sidhansh understood. Both kept looking at her with a frown and a confused expression.

Samaira, why are you nervous?......it isn't your report card day,right?

Sidhansh:Sis,sorry to say but whatever you said was not understandable

Samaira:why don't you say,then?

Samaira said glaring at him while gritting her teeth. Here,she was nervous thinking about Shehnaaz's reaction and this boy was making fun of her nervousness.But he doesn't know that he is messing with his elder sister.

Two can play the game,right?

Samaira:yeah,actually it's better......Ansh will tell you ,you know I am too tired from all the traveling

Sana:okay,then......kiddo, you tell

Sidhansh cursed her in his mind but nonetheless agreed .

Sidhansh:okay,actually that night when I came back home and was in my room changing

Flashback

Sidhansh:Sam,You here?

Sidhansh said as soon as he came out from his washroom after changing and saw Samaira standing at his doorstep.

Samaira:yeah,can I come in?

Sidhansh:sure

Sidhansh sat on his bed and Samaira hesitantly entered his room.She was constantly battling with her thoughts in her mind on how to tell Sidhansh knowing he will be the most sad hearing it.

Sidhansh:naazu told me you were sleeping but you are awake

Samaira:well,actually I was sleeping but just heard your voice from outside so came here......I want to tell you something

Sidhansh:what

Sidhansh asked but was only met with silence.Samaira only kept looking at him still unsure of the fact that what she was doing was right or wrong.Finally,she just thought to give in and tell him everything.

It's now or never

Samaira:I am going back

Sidhansh:what but why ? Aren't you happy here?

Sidhansh asked shockingly but could also feel his voice getting choked in the end .Just the thought of her going away scared him.He just got her back now and he can't afford to lose her again.

Samaira:I am just going for two days

Sidhansh:wait,I don't understand......please explain nicely, Sam

Samaira took a deep breath realizing whatever she said didn't make full sense.She looked at him again and held his hands. As if giving both of them the courage they needed now.

Samaira:actually dad and mine relations are not so good and I am sorry I can't tell the reason of it to you now..........so I was given to make a decision if I wanted to go back or stay here forever,after a lot of thinking I decided I would stay here but that doesn't mean I could just leave my other family......the family who was there for me in all these years who means a lot to me, you know ,I can't just call them up and say " Hey,I have decided to live with my real family now so bye and thank you".........our relationship is not like that and if I want to end it also I want to end it on a good note......so I have decided to go there and spend the last two days there with my family

Though Sidhansh felt extremely happy to know that Samaira wasn't alone there ,she had someone or he should say a proper family.But he couldn't stop but feel the jealous that they got so many years with Samaira and here he only got a month.He couldn't help but feel jealous remembering how close she and Mohit are.He wishes that someday his and Samaira's relationship would become better and somewhat like her and Mohit's.

Sidhansh:okay ,now I understand and ofcourse you can go ,they are your family

Samaira:thank you Sidhansh

Samaira said and hugged him to which Sidhansh also reciprocated. Samaira let out a few tears thinking that she had to leave Sidhansh for two days now.In this one month,they had became extremely close to Sidhansh. Ever since Sidhansh was born ,she knew she would have the best relationship with him only.She wished she could say how special he was to her.

Sidhansh:I will miss you

Samaira:me too

Samaira said while smiling with eyes filled with tears .Sidhansh also got tears in his eyes thinking about the little separation but he reassured his heart saying that she would be back again to him only.

It's just two days,Sidhansh

Sidhansh:by the way ,have you told dad?

Samaira:no,I wanted to give him a surprise......remember what is after two days ?

Sidhansh:oh my God,it's dad's birthday

Samaira:yup, so I will be back till then and give him a big surprise

Sidhansh:that's amazing

Samaira:hmm

Lie.Lie.

Her mind shouted at her and she just silently heard it.She agreed staying here but the anger had still not vanished.How even it could vanish? It was a pain of 8 years ,tears of 8 years ,her sufferings of 8 years.She just can't forgive him but she had persuaded herself to give him a chance.She didn't told him because it was her way of taking a little revenge from him.Making him feel the pain through which she had went through.

Little did she know that she was not the only one who had gone through pain in all those 8 years

Samaira:promise me ,you won't tell dad and naazu about this

Sidhansh:but why naazu?

Samaira:please Sidhansh

Sidhansh:okay,promise

Flashback ends

Sidhansh:phew,that's it......I am tired

He said and lazily layed on the couch but when he looked towards Shehnaaz, he regretted it.Shehnaaz was glaring at him making him more scared and confused. He immediately sat up and was going to ask her when Shehnaaz stood up without uttering a word.

Sana:Samaira freshen up and sleep for sometime, you must be tired.....do tell me if you want to eat something, I have few preparations left to be done

Samaira:okay naazu

Shehnaaz nodded and immediately went out of the living room.Samaira sighed in relief knowing Shehnaaz was not mad at her.But she couldn't say the same for Sidhansh who confusingly sat there thinking why Shehnaaz was glaring at him.

Sidhansh:what did I do ?

Sameer:happy birthday Sidharth

Sameer shouted as soon as he spotted Sidharth coming out of his cabin.It was almost night so the employees were not there in the office only Sidharth and Sameer were there.Sidharth because he was busy doing his work and Sameer who was just waiting for Sidharth to come out.

What's happy in this birthday? Absolutely nothing

Sidharth said in his mind and shook his head .Still he put up a fake smile and looked at Sameer.

Sid:thank you buddy

Sameer:finally now I can go home......it's your birthday and you were working till so late.....you should go home now

Sidharth wished he could say that it was no more a home ,nonetheless he nodded and waved at Sameer before exiting his office building.

Sid:shit,I had told Shehnaaz not to plan anything for my birthday

Sidharth said as soon as he stepped inside his house and noticed all the lights switched off.He guessed it's some surprise planned for his birthday which he had strictly restricted. But he can't blame Shehnaaz also because maybe Sidhansh had said to do this all.He can't scold his Ansh now nor make him sad.

He just shook his head and was going to switch on the lights when the lights were suddenly switched on accompanied by a loud shout.

Sana/Sidhansh/Samaira:SURPRISE.......HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIDHARTH/DAD

Sidharth turned around immediately not because of hearing the loud shouts but hearing a particular female voice .The same voice which he had craved in these two days to hear.But when he turned,he only saw Shehnaaz and Sidhansh standing grinning looking at him.He believed that his ears were not wrong so hesitantly asked the question.

Sid:is there anyone else except you both?

Sidhansh:no dad who else would be here except us

Sana:yeah ,Sidharth......and now let's celebrate your birthday

Shehnaaz said clapping her hands in excitement .Sidharth looked here and there still unsure but then shook his head in disappointment.

Maybe, I am just imaging her

Sid:Shehnaaz please,I am not in the mood of this.......I am already tired

Samaira:so what's the use of me coming here so early

Sidharth's eyes snapped towards the source of the sound and he looked towards it as Samaira slowly moved our from the back of the couch where she was hiding.Sidharth stood numb at his place as he couldn't believe that what he was seeing is actually right or wrong.His Maira,his princess is finally here.

Sid:Samaira

Samaira:happy birthday dad.....and your birthday present from me is that I have decided to give you a chance

Sidharth couldn't control anymore and immediately hugged her ,close to his chest .Samaira also didn't stop herself from letting a warm ,sweet smile come on her face as she wrapped her hands around him.Sidharth's smile grew more  by her little act.He tightened his hold on her fearing that if he loosened she will go away again.

A heartwarming smile also came on his lips on finally having his daughter in his arms,on finally feeling the sukoon that he missed in these days .He couldn't believe the thing that he wished from so many days,he finally got it.A chance. And now he knew that he will do every single thing possible to make her forgive him.

Tears were flowing from both of them's eyes but they were happy tears.Happy tears that they were finally reunited.

Sidhansh:naazu,looks like these two forgot us

Samaira and Sidharth chuckled hearing Sidhansh .Samaira broke the hug and then let out her left hand indicating Sidhansh to join them.

Sidhansh:yay,family hug

Sidhansh jumped and ran towards them hugging them with great force making Sidharth and Samaira stumble a bit.Sidhansh couldn't control his laugh and laughed a bit seeing them stumble. He was happy ,content that now he has his family back.He has his sister back and she is not going anywhere else ever.

Samaira:Naazu what are you doing there.....come join us

Shehnaaz who was standing there and just admiring the whole family being so happy ,got startled hearing Samaira. She hesitantly looked at them not sure whether to join or not.Afterall it their family moment and she can't ruin it.Yes,they have always said she was family and also showed it but the hesitancy was still there in her.

Sidhansh:naazu come

She nodded and then looked at Sidharth who was also looking at her.He smiled warmly at her with tears in his eyes and nodded .She finally got the final assurance she needed and then ran towards them to complete the hug.

Samaira:now family is complete

Sidhansh:yesssss

Both of them shouted and tightened the hug. A hug full of affection, love and care .Nothing was needed now ,only this reunion mattered. Their happy reunion ,their loving reunion.

The best family hug.

Nobody wanted to leave the hug and miss the love and affection but they had to because now something more important had to be done now.

Sidhansh:now enough of this emotional shit,let's cut the cake

Sid/Sana/Samaira:Sidhansh

Sidhansh:oopsie

Sidhsnsh said and scratched his nape sheepishly realizing what words he used.All of them broke the hug and instantly felt the loss of love but nonetheless put up a sweet smile on their faces.

Sidhansh:I am going to bring my chocolate cake

Samaira:Ansh didn't I told you to order a vanilla cake

Sidhansh:eww,vanilla is so plain......chocolate is much better

Sidhansh said proudly,proud of his choice of cake to which Samaira only rolled her eyes.

Samaira:vanilla is better..........Chocolate is so chocolaty,I mean so so sweet......and I am fed up of eating chocolate since two days

Sidhansh:hey,it's not my fault that you ate so many chocolates......but the cake is a chocolate cake and you will have to eat that only

Samaira:nope

Sidhansh:yes

Samaira:nope

Sidhansh:yes

Samaira:noooooo

Sidhansh:yessssss

Samaira:Ansh I swear I-

Sid:Samaira, Ansh calm down......don't fight ,it's just a cake

Sidharth said  interrupting their fighting and finally stopping it.Both huffed and nodded agreeing Sidharth's words.

Sana:Sidharthhhh,why did you stop them it was so fun

Shehnaaz said whining causing all of them to look towards her weirdly.Shehnaaz stifled her laugh seeing their weird expressions but at last let out some giggles.

Sana:what? You guys were really funny,fighting over a cake

Samaira:but what about my vanilla cake

Sana:don't worry Samaira, I have already made a vanilla cake knowing you don't like chocolate much

Samaira:you are the best ,naazu

Samaira said and hugged Shehnaaz again making Shehnaaz chuckle .She chuckled seeing Samaira and ruffled her hairs lovingly and smiled at her thought.

Finally everything is normal

Sidhansh:you are the best ,naazu

Sidhansh said mimicking Samaira only to get a glare from Samaira and smack from Sidharth.

Sidhansh:ouch.....you guys are so bad only troubling this innocent soul

Sana/Samaira/Sid:INNOCENT !!
