Sidharth looked at her shockingly and then at the people who were staring at them only.He diverted his gaze not able to see their curous looks more.He looked at Shehnaaz with a questionable expression.

Did she just shout at me?

Ofcourse, you idiot she did

His brain answered his question making him more embarrass.

Sid:Shehnaaz why you shouted at me?

Sana:I had to,you were not listening to me only ,idiot........I told he is not well but if he takes some rest ,he will be okay so I left him to go with Samaira......chill,trust me he will be back again and say "naazu,I want to eat cookies" "Dad I want don't want to go to singing class "

Sidharth chuckled hearing her and shook his head seeing her mimicking Sidhansh. Shehnaaz saw him chuckling and she too giggled.

Sana:but still if you want I can call Samaira to know about Sidhansh

Sid:leave it,I don't want to disturb him......as you told that he was tired ,maybe he would be sleeping now.......so let's not disturb them and enjoy our lunch

Sana:aye aye captain

Sid:so what do you wanna have?

Sana:umm I don't know.......you order for me

Sid:Shehnaaz I can't, what if I order something and you don't like it......no,I am not gonna take that risk

Sana:comeon yaar,I trust you and I know whatever you will order it will be good.......and also you have a good choice

Sid:fine

Sidharth huffed but nonetheless ordered for her while Shehnaaz stared at the beautiful place.The interiors of the restaurant were beautifully painted in black paint giving it a beautiful yet royal aesthetic look.

Maybe, I can click few pictures here......it's such a beautiful place

Her eyes roamed around the whole room and stopped at a particular thing.It was a just a normal tree but the way it was kept between the chairs made it look so beautiful. She cursed herself for not coming here earlier .

Sid:Shehnaaz back to earth

Sidharth snapped his fingers infront of her bringing her back from her dreamland. She frowned at him but later seeing the food understood why he interrupted her photo session thoughts.

Sid:and this is for you

Sidharth said passing the plate towards her which Shehnaaz happily accepted but her happiness was shortlived.She carefully saw the dish and scrunched her nose in annoyance and disgust.

Sana:what is this?

Sid:salad

Sana:YOU ORDERED A SALAD FOR ME,A SALAD

Sid:yeah,you only told you will eat whatever I will order......and salad is good for heath

Sidharth said with a straight face while eating his Dal makhani but innerly he was smirking.He purposely ordered it just to pull her leg and see her annoyed face .

Sana:evil ,idiot you purposely ordered it.....you devil

Shehnaaz said while hitting him with her small fists making Sidharth broke into laughter .He carefully held her small fists and controlled her.Shehnaaz glared at him and tried her best to free her hands.

The people looked at them weirdly .Some with love while some just looked at them weirdly.But did this two cared? Naah

Sid:okay baba,sorry......I was joking ,this is for me and this for you

Sidharth gestured the waiter to come with the food that he actually ordered for Shehnaaz. The waiter served the food and smiled at the duo.

Sana:this

Shehnaaz said with teary eyes.She looked at the dishes and instantly remembered her childhood. It was her favourite punjabi food making her remember her sweet time with her family.She didn't told him but yeah,she missed her parents like hell.

It was her favourite cuisine,punjabi cuisine. She looked at the food with a warm smile .Everything was her favourite starting from Sarson da saag to Pinni.

Sid:Shhh sweetheart, I didn't ordered it to make you cry

Sana:but isn't it too much.....who told you to waste so much money on these?

Sid:OH MY GOD,YOU JUST CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT THE EMOTIONS

Sana:I didn't mean to hurt you,I was-

Sid:hey,hey relax I am not hurt and now eat......and it's for both of us so it wouldn't go waste

Sana:pakka?

Shehnaaz said while looking at him with her cute pout.Sidharth wiped her tears and held her hand .

Sid:pakka and now eat

Shehnaaz grinned and started eating.As soon her mouth got filled with sweet spicy taste of the tandoori chicken, she moaned in ecstasy.

Sidharth smiled looking at her and just kept adoring her.He observed everything of hers,like how when she felt too spicy her eyes went wide and she fisted her hand,when she tasted something sweet her eyes automatically closed and she moaned. He was busy staring her ,so busy that he didn't realized his food was getting cold.

Sana:Sidharth, food

Shehnaaz said breaking his staring session. He scratched his nape in shyness and started eating his food.

Sana:taste this(passing sarso da saag)

Sidharth dipped the roti in the saag and tasted it.His lips curved into a beautiful smile as the delicious taste of the food filled his mouth.

Sid:this is super tasty

Sana:Yup

Like this they both talked and had their food with complete happiness. Shehnaaz thought that without the kids their lunch would be dull and boring but she was proved wrong.Their lunch was incomplete but not dull !!

It was a beautiful date,oops sorry lunch.His smiles,her giggles,his teasing and her playfully hitting him made it special and gleeful .It was just the two of them and their sweet talks .And that was all that was needed to make it lively and special !

Sana:Sidharth, what is love?

Sid:what?

Shehnaaz's this question took him completely off guard and he looked at her with shock.He didn't expected her to ask this though he knew what love is.

Love was everything that he had in the past,he didn't wanted anything accept love.His love made him strong,her smiles were his strength.But now he was yearning for that love,he was yearning for her.Alas! He could never meet her and apologize for what all he did,intentionally or unintentionally.

It is difficult to live without your love,right?

Sid:you will get to know when you yourself will be in love with someone.....you will know that how beautiful it is and also painful

He said with a soft warm smile while whispering the last word to himself.

Sid:Shehnaaz,do you love someone?

A voice said in her mind and she instantly looked down and fidgeted with her fingers.Ofcourse she has feelings for him.How can she not have ? It was him who made her believe in herself, him who made her more confident, filled her life with so much happiness and gave a proper reason to smile everyday.

He is more than a friend to her,wish she could say this to him but love is a big word.And she is not sure about that.

Did she really love him,like that way love?

Sid:oyee,kaha kho gayi

Sana:kahi nahi

Sid:so,do you love someone?

Sana:pagal hai tu.......main toh bas esi hi puch rahi thi

Sidharth believed her though fully not convinced.He saw how she was getting awkward so let this conversation slide.He also felt goosebumps and shivered when he asked her.

Don't know why he didn't like asking if she is in love with someone.He felt himself getting affected and thinking what if she really was and it isn't him?

Wait,him.......where did it this come from?

Sana:I am done

Sid:huh?

Sana:I am done with my food

Sid:ohh okay but dessert is left......left me order it

Sana:ofcourse, we can't leave the best part of the meal

Sidharth shook his head and chuckled while calling the waiter.But before he could call,a waiter already came there holding a basket.

Waiter:sir,mam this is for you

The waiter said while passing them the basket.Shehnaaz held the basket and looked at it confusingly. Shehnaaz raised an eyebrow asking Sidharth "what is this?" while Sidharth also gave her a blank look.

Sid:sorry but why are you giving us this?

Waiter:actually Sir this is a gift for the sweetest couple in our restaurant.......every Tuesday, one couple gets it so today our boss decided to gave it to you both, you both are our new customer but mam really found you the best and sweetest couple.....please accept it sir

Sidharth and Shehnaaz both looked at each other and had a perfect eyelock.Shehnaaz looked away first because she was getting nervous under his gaze after whatever the waiter said.She looked around and found that most of the people were couples.

Did they really looked like a perfect couple?

This question was roaming in her mind until she heard Sidharth's words.

Sid:sorry we can't accept this........we are not-

Sana:umm,he meant this is too much.......but Sidharth they are giving it with so much love,we should accept this........thank you so much for this lovely gift

The waiter nodded and left the table leaving behind a confused and a bit angry Sidharth. He opened his mouth to speak but Shehnaaz quickly spoke before him.

Sana:I know I lied and we aren't a couple.......but Sidharth how could you say no to free icecream ?..........IT'S A SIN TO SAY NO TO ICECREAM AND I STOPPED YOU FROM COMMITTING THAT SIN........you should be grateful to me(flipping her hair at the last sentence)

Sid:whattttt

Sidharth wanted to shout at her but hearing her answer, he couldn't help but burst out laughing. His eyes got tears from laughing so much making Shehnaaz smile genuinely at him.He sobered up and then looked at her with some thoughts.

Cute,she is still a kid.

Sid:I am going to pay the bill

Sana:okay, let's go

Shehnaaz said while still looking at the icecream basket and planning to eat it as soon as she reaches home.Sidharth shook his head at her childish behaviour.

Lady:he loves you a lot

The lady said breaking Shehnaaz's thoughts. She looked ahead and saw Sidharth paying the bill and then at the lady who standing infront of her smiling.

Sana:you gave us this gift?

Lady:yes

Sana:thank you so much mam,I loved it

Lady:aww,your welcome cutie......and you both deserve it,you both look so good together.........always stay like this........never leave him,he is a gem

Shehnaaz smiled and nodded while looking at Sidharth lovingly. She was not sure about love but one thing she knew that this man is her happiness and sukoon,she is never gonna leave him.

Lady:you know my husband also used to take me to dates.......even he bought this place as our permanent date spot

Sana:aww,so sweet......and how romantic uncle is

Wait, was this a date?

No,no it wasn't.......even if I consider it as one,he would never accept it

Many thoughts arised in her mind but she unwillingly shrugged it off knowing it would make her sad.Her heart pained everytime thinking that she was just a normal friend to him.

She opened her phone and opened her account .She selected the photo that she had asked Sidharth to click and smiled.After choosing the correct hastags and tagging the restaurant ,she finally posted the photo.

Had the best lunch ever with someone special !!❤

She looked at her screen filling with hearts and comments .She blushed seeing their comments .Some were asking "who is this someone special?"

But she thought to stay silent and let it be a mystery for her followers. Finally getting satisfied with the number,she closed her phone.

Sid:chale

Sana:hmm

Shehnaaz started moving towards the exit while Sidharth followed her but he was interrupted by a voice.He turned around and saw a lady looking at him.

Lady:she is a pure soul,take care of her

Sidharth smiled at the lady and replied without any doubt or thinking.

Sid:I will

Sana:it's so peaceful, right?

Sid:yeah because both of them might be sleeping that's why

Sana:true

Sidharth unlocked the door and both entered their home.Sidharth slumped down on the couch and drank a glass of water.Shehnaaz kept the basket on the kitchen counter and then went towards Sidhansh room.

Sana:Sidharth come fast

Hearing her shout ,Sidharth immediately stood up and went towards Sidhansh's room. He reached there and saw Shehnaaz standing at the doorstep.

Sid:what happened?

Sana:look at them

Shehnaaz said pointing towards the bed.Sidharth looked at her confusingly but nonetheless followed her.His eyes stared at the bed where the duo were sleeping peacefully, hugging each other.His eyes brightened with happiness and he smiled wholeheartedly seeing them.

Sana:aren't they the cutest?

Sid:ofcourse they are afterall they are my children (smirking)

Sana:but I know you are jealous and wanted to cuddle with them ,right?

Sid:yeah

Sidharth said while still thinking how she came to know what he was thinking.

Sana:aww but you can't disturb them......by the way you can cuddle with me though?

Shehnaaz said teasingly and taking the revenge of his teasing with salad .At first Sidharth was shocked but then he saw her smirk and knew that she was teasing him.

Sid:I don't mind,let's cuddle and sleep

Sidharth said and wrapped his hands around her waist back hugging her.Shehnaaz's body froze feeling their close proximity. Her breathes were uneven and her cheeks turned red hearing his husky voice.She turned around and looked at him.

Sana:you are kidding?

Sid:nope sweetheart I am not,let's go

Shehnaaz eyes went wide and she thought her teasing backfired on her only.Sidharth saw her expressions and laughed running away.Shehnaaz heard his laugh and cursed herself for falling in his trap.

Sana:Sidharthhhhh

Shehnaaz shouted but not before closing the door of Sidhansh's room so that she doesn't disturb them.She also ran behind him.

Sana:Sidharthhhh

Sid:Gadhi

Don't know who are the kids ,the ones sleeping or the ones chasing each other like Tom and Jerry.

Actually I think they both are the only kids * shakes head dramatically *
