Sidhansh:naazu

Before Shehnaaz could reply ,they heard the voice of Sidhansh. Both turned around and saw him standing at the doorstep.Sidhansh entered her room and jumped on the bed.

Sidhansh:aww,it's so soft.....better than mine

He said while comfortably laying on the bed and ignoring the confused looks of the both the ladies.

Samaira:naazu? Who?

Sidhansh:my friend and ex-neighbour

Samaira gave a small smile and nodded still trying to process whatever Sidhansh said.How can she be Sidhansh's friend, she is much older than him? And ex-neighbour?

Sidhansh:ouch naazu

Sidhansh yelped when Shehnaaz smacked his head lightly and glared at him.

Sana:what are doing so late?shouldn't you be sleeping right now kiddo?

Sidhansh:umm,actually.....I....I was not able to sleep

Sidhansh took a deep breath and finally told the real reason. Samaira didn't interrupted them and just kept looking at the duo.

Sana:so you should have told me......it's not good for you to stay awake till 2am

Sidhansh:I thought you were sleeping so I didn't wanted to disturb you

Sana:kiddo,seriously.....okay, leave all this and you will come with me and sleep in your room and you also(pointing at Samaira)

Samaira who was lost in seeing the duo and their banter suddenly snapped her head in Shehnaaz's direction.Oh,how she wished she can sleep but she can't.

Samaira:sure naazu

Sana:actually Sidhansh calls me that but my real name is Shehnaaz.....but you can also call me naazu

Shehnaaz said while forwarding her hand towards her.Samaira looked at her and then at her forwarded hand.She held her hand and did a small handshake.

Samaira:Samaira

Sana:Samaira ,lovely name just like an angel......you sleep in your room and I am taking Sidhansh with me ,and yeah if you need anything call me.....my room is beside yours only

Samaira:okay

Sana:goodnight Samaira

Samaira:good night

Shehnaaz held Sidhansh's hand and dragged him out of the room who kept whining for the soft bed and how he also wanted that while Shehnaaz kept telling him to tell Sidharth tomorrow.

Samaira looked at the retreating figures and a small genuine smile came on her lips .She could feel their bond and also how strong it was.Sidhansh really behaved like a kid infront of her.

She thought this and chuckled and then sighed closing her door.She gave a quick glance at her bed .

Samaira:let's try to sleep Sam

The next morning came by quickly and Samaira kept the book on the table.Whole night she couldn't sleep so picked up a book and started reading it.

Samaira stood up from the couch and went to take a shower.After getting ready in a simple pink top and jeans she exited her room.

Samaira:good morning

Sidhansh:good morning Sam

Sid:good morning Maira

As soon as she heard that name she clenched her fist.It was her childhood name given by him.Just by hearing it, she started remembering all those sweet ,lovely memories with him,with her true family which she had suppressed deep inside her brain.

No Hell no,I can't let them come again.

She kept clenching and unclenching her fists till a soft hand held her fist and squeezed it.Samaira opened her eyes and saw Shehnaaz holding her fists and looking at her.

Sana:Good morning Samaira

Samaira:good....morning

Samaira stuttered and quickly withdrew her hand from her hold and sat before anyone could notice.Shehnaaz was surprised seeing her like this.She saw clenching her fists and probably thought that she was angry so tried to cool her down.But why was she angry?

Sidhansh:naazu

Sana:yes kiddo

Sidhansh:sit

Sana:yeah,sorry

Shehnaaz didn't stressed her mind more and sat on the chair.There was an awkward silence in the room.Nobody was uttering a single word just eating silently until Sidharth cleared his throat.

Sid:Maira

Great,here it comes again,she thought.

Samaira:yes

Sid:did you sleep well yesterday.....actually I couldn't decorate your room much as enough time was not there and I also had my new collection lau-

Samaira:it's fine,I liked the room

Samaira interrupted him and told in a short single sentence. Ofcourse not wanting her anger to take over.

Sid:Sidhansh you will be starting your singing classes today

Sidhansh:but dad,I wanted to spend time with Sam

Sam?Where did this came from?
Did they really had their bonding time?

Sidharth's mind lingered over these thoughts.Till now he hasn't got his time with his daughter and Sidhansh had .He started getting jealous but by whom,his own son.He hated to accept this but he was jealous.

He also wanted to spend time with her but how and what to begin with,he didn't knew.Actually he was not able to understand Samaira,his daughter.The girl who had entered the house a day ago and till now hadn't demanded anything from her dad,hadn't laughed,danced or blabber like earlier she used to.

She is changed,she is more silent and reserved and not a demanding girl anymore.

Had he wanted this? Fucking No

Samaira:um...dad,where's dadi

Samaira asked him snapping him out of his thoughts.She didn't wanted to say anything to him but ever since she entered she didn't saw her favourite person,her dadi.Whom she missed a lot and for once wanted to come back home for her.She ignored this question buy now her curiosity was at peak.

Sam,don't you know.......Curiosity killed the cat.

Her mind mocked at her which she royally ignored.

Sid:she is not well so she is living with di

Samaira:can I go and meet her?

Sid:sure,we all will go

Sidhansh:dad please ,I will go from tomorrow not today please please

Sidhansh said while making a puppy face which he has learnt from Shehnaaz. Shehnaaz and Samaira both giggled seeing him.

Sid:Ansh

Sidhansh:dad please, I promise I will not play video games for four days,no....for two days,yes for two days I will not play video games

Video games are love but I am ready to sacrifice them for two days

My poor video games,I will miss you

Sidhansh said in his mind and made a sad face.

Sid:fine but just for today

Sidhansh:thank you so much dad

Sidhansh quickly hugged his dad and then dragged Samaira with him to his room.She had completed her breakfast till then.Sidharth chuckled looking at an overexcited Sidhansh.

Sana:he is looking happy....they both look cute together

Sid:yeah

Sidharth finished his breakfast and went to his room to check some of his office files.He had also taken leave from his office .He was studying the files until he was disturbed by a soft knock.

Sid:come in

Shehnaaz entered his room and saw him sitting on his bed while going through his files.She looked at the scattered files and shook her head.

Ye kabhi nahi sudhrega

Sana:your coffee

Shehnaaz said while giving him his black coffee.Her inner self cringed hearing the name itself, eww.

Sid:you are still anger?

Sidharth asked as he saw her going out of his room.He wanted to ask this from so long.He can't tolerate her ignorance but why? The reason still being unknown to him.Shehnaaz turned around hearing his voice.

Sana:no,why will I? I understand we just met 2 months ago and became friends but not so good friends that you can share such an important matter with me,I understand you were not able to say that you have a daughter who was not living with you....it's okay Sidharth, it's totally fine

Shehnaaz said each word dripping out of sarcasm.What a question? Ofcourse she was angry. Very anger.

Sid:Shehnaaz

Before Sidharth could say anything, Shehnaaz turned around to go but a hand held her wrist pulling her back.
