Sana:ahhh

Shehnaaz opened her eyes slowly and immediately held her head in her hands .The headache returned and she groaned regretting for drinking so much.

Sana:Fuck

She put her one foot on the ground to stand up but noticed a coffee mug kept on the side table with a yellow note.She gave a confused gaze and picked the paper.

"Drink this coffee ,you will feel better"

Shehnaaz smiled knowing very well who had done this.She sipped the coffee and closed her eyes relishing its taste.She stood up while still drinking the coffee and entered her kitchen.

Sana:What should I make ?

She thought while keeping her finger on her chin.She turned around to take out eggs from the fridge but noticed a sticky note on the fridge.She removed it read it.

"Breakfast is in the fridge ,have it.....I had some work so had to leave,dare you skip your breakfast "

P.s. I didn't forgot about yesterday but we will talk about that later

Shehnaaz smiled warmly seeing her care .Her heart warmed seeing someone care for her so much.But soon her smile changed into a frown reading the next lines.She felt a hollow sinking feeling in her stomach remembering yesterday's words she said to her.Shit,how could I say that to her .

Shefali had been such a caring and supportive bestfriend since the beginning. Though she had set some rules for Shehnaaz but it was for her own good only but in that drunk state ,Shehnaaz failed to realize it.

Sana:I will call her in the evening

She picked her plate of breakfast and moved towards the couch.She sat on the couch and unlocked her phone.She looked at her previous post and read a few comments. She felt relieved seeing the number on her account .A smile appeared on her face reading the comments.

Soon she completed her breakfast and looked at the clock .She went into her room and changed into a black full sleeved top and blue jeans.

Sana:let's go Shehnaaz

Sana:where's kiddo

Sid:he is in school Shehnaaz.....and this is the third time you are asking

Sidharth huffed and again continued in making the food.Shehnaaz just rolled her eyes and resumed cutting the vegetables.

Sana:I miss him so much (pouted)

Sid:aww,but it's just two hours you have been here

Sana:chorho yaar tum nahi samjoge

Sid:kyunki madam tum kudh nahi samaj rahi ki tum kya bol rahi ho

Sidharth said and switched off the gas.He washed his hands in the sink and then wiped it.Finally,my work is completed.

Sana:hmm

Sidharth frowned looking at her ,he felt she was lost somewhere else.The time when he opened the door for her and asked her to come in ,she didn't move.He had to call her twice and then she heard him.Something is definitely wrong with her, he thought.

Sid:Shehnaaz are you fine?

Sana:yeah

Shehnaaz said and shrugged her shoulders again continuing cutting of the vegetables. But her mind was somewhere else,the thoughts of yesterday night were still roaming in her mind.

It was so wrong of me to shout at Shefali?

What was her fault?She just cared about me

Why I had to be so bad with her?

Her thoughts were broken when she felt someone back hugging her.Shehnaaz got startled and started wriggling out of the hold.

Sid:it's me Shehnaaz

Shehnaaz turned around a bit and saw him.Theirs faces were so close to each other and both were looking into each other's eyes as if trying to find something in those deep eyes.Shehnaaz's trance broke and she lowered her head.

Sana:you scared me Sidharth

Sid:sorry but you were not listening to me only ,I was calling you since five minutes

Sana:sorry Sidharth, mera dyaan shayad kahi aur tha

Sid:ha wo toh mujhe dikh raha hai par kaha hai?

Sana:kahi nahi ,it's fine

Sid:no,you are not fine....bologi baat kya hai ?

Sana:okay ,I will tell

Sid:good,let's sit on the couch and then we will talk

Sidharth tried to break the hug but Shehnaaz held his hands and stopped him from breaking it.Sidharth looked at her confusingly.

Sana:please stay like this for sometime

Sidharth nodded and held her from back.Shehnaaz left the knife and vegetables and leaned on his chest.She kept her hands on his .She felt extremely relaxed and serene.She didn't want to break the hug and just stay like this,in his arms.

A feeling of warmth crept her chest causing her to smile wholeheartedly. She closed her eyes enjoying the calmness and sukoon.

Sidharth's hand tightened around her and he kept his head in the crook of her neck.It looked such an intimate position  but both didn't cared about it.All they cared about was the affection, warmth and sukoon they felt.

Why her closeness is affecting me so much?

Why her being so close to me calms my heart and makes me happy ?Why?

Sidharth opened his eyes as these thoughts arised in his mind.He broke the hug slowly and ran a hand in his hair.Shehnaaz frowned on the lose of warmth and turned around and looked at him.

Sana:shall we?

Shehnaaz said in order to avoid the awkwardness. Sidharth looked at her nodded slightly. Both moved towards the couch and sat down.

Sid:so tell me,what's the matter?Why are you sad?

Sana:I had a fight with Shefali yesterday

Shehnaaz said while looking downwards .She didn't told the reason so Sidharth thought maybe she is uncomfortable with him sharing the reason .He nodded in understanding and kept his hand on hers.

Sana:actually yesterday I had went with Jenny to the club,and didn't informed her....kasam lage Sidharth, I didn't knew ki main itni pi lungi....thora sa stress tha toh ussi mein pata hi nahi chala ki kab itni pi li

Shehnaaz said in embarrassment. She was anxious thinking how Sidharth would react .Will he also think me as an irresponsible women?Will he regret giving me this big opportunity ?

Her trance was broken by Sidharth's voice.He lifted her chin and made her look at him.

Sid:firstly Shehnaaz, I think what you have done is wrong,you should have informed her....she cares about you baba,she would be worried seeing you in that state that's why she was angry but it's okay to make mistakes afterall you are human and human only make mistakes......I am sure she will understand you if you explain her and agar wo abhi gusse mein hai toh koyi nahi,wo zyada dher naraz nahi rahegi.....I don't know Shefali the way you know her but one thing I can say she cares about you a lot,hmm.....and I am not regretting giving you this opportunity

Shehnaaz listened to his words with a serious face ,understanding everything .Her eyes went wide hearing his last sentence. How did he came to knew what I was thinking?

Sana:how did you knew?

Sid:By looking at your face.....Shehnaaz don't think that,okay?......I trust you and I mean it that's why I gave you this

Shehnaaz looked into his eyes and could see only truth.All her anxiousness flew away hearing his words and she couldn't help but hug him.

Sana:thank you

Shehnaaz said while wrapping her hands around him.Sidharth smiled warmly and reciprocated the hug.He rubbed her back and sat there hugging her.Not a word spoken,both stayed silent ,enjoying the silence and the unknown feeling that calmed their heart and made it happy.

Both of them didn't wanted to name this feeling anything and ruin it.Both rejoiced this feeling of warmth and togetherness .Both sat in that position for more 10 minutes and then broke the hug.

Sid:so what shall we do now?

Sana:I miss kiddo

Sidharth chuckled hearing her whining again.She was missing Sidhansh more than him.Actually he should be like this ,missing his child but it was opposite in their case.

It was not long that they heard the doorbell making Shehnaaz squeal in joy and Sidharth shook his head in disbelief.

Sid:speak of the devil and the devil is here....ouch

As soon as Sidharth completed his sentence ,he yelped in pain as Shehnaaz smacked on his arm.

Sana:he is not a devil (playfully glaring )

Sid:yeah,yeah

Sidharth shook his head and moved towards the door to open it .Sidharth opened the door and saw Sidhansh lazily carrying his bag and looking tired .But soon he gave a sweet smile seeing his dad.

Sidhansh:hi dad

Sid:hi champ

Sidharth said and ruffled his hair making Sidharth groan but also smile.Sidhansh had just took two steps before he was engulfed in a big hug.

Sidhansh:naazu ,I am sweaty

Sana:I don't care kiddo,I missed you

Sidhansh:I know naazu but please leave me.....can't breathe

Sidharth just stood there with a goofy smile on his face looking at the two munchkins. Indeed ,Shehnaaz missed him a lot.

He saw Sidhansh giving him puppy eyes making Sidharth sigh.

Sid:Shehnaaz atleast let him freshen up,he is tired

Sana:fine

Shehnaaz said grumpily and left him to which Sidhansh let out a sigh and chuckle looking at her.He mumbled a thank you to Sidharth and moved to freshen up not before saying.

Sidhansh: by the way naazu,can you please make cookies, please

Sana:sure kiddo

Sid:Sidhansh, not now (sternly

Sidhansh:please dad

Sana:don't worry kiddo,I will make it

Sidhansh:thanks naazu

Sidhansh shouted and entered his room leaving Shehnaaz and an angry Sidharth behind.

Sid:Shehnaaz but-

Sidharth couldn't complete his sentence as Shehnaaz pulled him with her towards the kitchen.Sidharth couldn't help but just follow her and let out an huff.

I can't win over them,ever.
