Shehnaaz and Sidhansh chuckled and then broke their hug.Shehnaaz touched his cheek still thinking if it was a dream.

Sana:what are you doing here kiddo?and where were you since so many days?

Sidhansh:I went to Delhi along with dad,Dadi was hospitalized

Sana:oh my god,is she well now?

Sidhansh:yeah ,she is okay but still needs rest so she is stayed with bua

Sana:how's Sidharth?

Shehnaaz didn't knew what else to ask.There were many questions in her mind making her confuse on which to ask first.

Sidhansh:he is not well naazu,I don't know it's just because of dadi or it's something else....I had never seen him so week, he had a

Sidhansh didn't know how to say it.Just the mention of the word made him remember those dreadful moments .He closed his eyes not wanting to remember it again.

Sana:he had a what kiddo?

Shehnaaz could see his sad eyes on the mention of the last sentence but still she thought to try for once .

Sidhansh:panic attack (whisper)

Sidhansh whispered but audible enough for Shehnaaz to hear it.She gasped loudly and sadly looked at him.Now understanding the reason behind his sad eyes.

Sana:can I meet him?

Sidhansh:yeah,let's go

Shehnaaz stood up and started walking behind Sidhansh.Sidhansh was walking with blank,emotionless face but from inside he was happy that finally he met his naazu.

Sidhansh:by the way what are you doing here?

Sana:Shefali lives here so she had invited me to her place today

Sidhansh:ohh okay

Sidhansh rang the bell and waited for it to open.

Sidharth who was still sitting on the couch thinking about how to tell Sidhansh heard the doorbell and got confused. Only Jay and Mahi know about this place apart from him and Sidhansh. Is Sidhansh back but how so early?

Sidharth anyways stood up and moved to the door to open it.When he opened the door, his eyes went wide.

Sidharth:Shehnaaz

He couldn't believe she is standing here infront of him.He didn't told her about this place.Did Jay and Mahi told her about it? Maybe .

The one person whom he was trying to ignore or ignored in these all days us standing infront of him with a sweet smile.In that smile also he can see the care,affection and concern for him.

Sana:Hi Sidharth

Sid:hi

Both stood there in an awkward silence not knowing what to say or ask.Few weeks ago both knew each other so much and could actually feel each other's feelings but now it seemed different.

For Shehnaaz, she was not able to start a conversation. It felt like she was meeting him for the first time .But the swollen, red eyes didn't went unnoticed by her.What has happened to him?

Sid: please come in

Shehnaaz shyly nodded and entered the house along with Sidhansh.

Sidhansh:dad I am going

Sana:where are you going kiddo?I thought we will spend time together

Sidhansh:sorry naazu but I also wanted to stay and spend time with you.....but if I don't go today ,my couch will kick me out off the team

Sana:ohh okay,I understand

Sidhansh could have stayed ,he himself wanted to stay so badly but if it wasn't his couch whom he had to meet.He would seriously kick me out off the team if I don't go,he thought .

Sidhansh:dad can naazu please stay here today?

Sid:if it's okay with Shehnaaz, ofcourse Ansh

Sidharth seriously didn't wanted to involve her in his miseries but then he also can't forget the happiness Sidhansh felt whenever Shehnaaz was with them.And Maybe it would become a nice opportunity to tell Sidhansh the truth,he thought.

Sidhansh:naazu please stay please

Sana:okay kiddo

She agreed at the first time only because she herself wanted to stay with him and recreate all those sweet time that they had missed.

Sidhansh:thank you naazu ,bye

Sana:bye

Shehnaaz waved at him but she found something different. She couldn't see the pure glint of happiness in his eyes,he even didn't jumped in joy on hearing this which the normal Sidhansh would do.Did the situations are so worse that it changed my kiddo?,she thought.

Sid:uhm uhm

Shehnaaz turned around and looked at Sidharth who was already staring at her.She was not able to understand what she would say or do now.Both were alone now in the room.

Sid:I will close the door

Sidharth went towards the door and closed it.He took a deep breath and turned around to see her but suddenly felt someone wrap her hands around him.It didn't even took him a minute to realize who it was.

Sid:Shehnaaz

He whispered slowly and wrapped his hands around her and tightened the hug.Shehnaaz hugged him more and sobbed.

She wanted to deny the fact that She missed him so much but couldn't. Ofcourse Sidharth has made a place in her heart and she knew it was more than a friend.But she didn't knew what to name this new feeling.

Sid:Shehnaaz are you okay?why are you crying?

Sana:did you really forgot me?

Sidharth sighed and now understood why she was crying.He himself wanted to break down and say that it's not like that, it was his miseries,his problems that kept him away from her.He controlled himself and lovingly caressed her back.

He tried breaking the hug but Shehnaaz tightened the hug .Not having an option left he picked her up and moved towards the couch.It felt awkward to him to do it but still shrugging those thoughts he picked her up.

Sid:Shehnaaz please stop crying

Sana:fine ,I will but you have to tell me why you left and what happened with you ?

Sid:what happened to me?

Shehnaaz broke the hug and furrowed her eyebrows looking at him.If the situation were normal he could have told how cute she was looking with these furrowed eyebrows. But this wasn't the situation to take of all this.

Sana:seriously Sidharth, it's okay if you don't want to share but don't lie atleast

Sidharth surprisingly looked at her that how come she came to know .He sighed and knew that he had to say her the truth now.It's not that he didn't trusted her but there was a possibility what if he again had a panic attack.

He took a deep breath and finally decided to speak.

Sid:When I was in hospital passing through through a corridor then I heard something......a doctor discussing was about someone's death report and the name of the person shocked me....it was....was Ru

Shehnaaz sensed that he was getting uncomfortable so quickly rubbed his back calming .Till now she had understood that it's just not about his mom's health but something more is also there and that something or someone was very special for Sidharth.

Sana:Sidharth if you are not uncomfortable while saying ,don't speak.....I don't want to know anything

Sid:Shehnaaz I am fine.....so it was the death report of......Ruhi

Shehnaaz gave a confused look on hearing Ruhi's name but was shocked hearing the next words of Sidharth.

Sid:my wife

After saying this he broke down,tears again started flowing from his eyes.It has been so many days but still he can't stop himself from breaking down whenever he spoke about Ruhi.He loved her from all his heart even after she left him .He didn't spoke a bad word about her and didn't think anything ill about her though being angry.

Shehnaaz was shocked after hearing this.She was also not able to digest such a dreadful news.She herself didn't knew when tears rolled down her cheeks.

Sana:you loved her ?

Sid:a lot,she was my first love Shehnaaz

Shehnaaz felt very bad seeing Sidharth's state.It is really very difficult for him to overcome from the death news of his wife,the wife whom he loved so much.Somewhere in her heart she felt a pinch hearing it.

She wiped her tears and looked at him who was silently sobbing while controlling his breathing. She felt him shaking and immediately cupped his face .

Sana:Sidharth look at me,I have never met Ruhi so don't know how she was but one thing I can say indeed she was an angel who got your love

Sid:she was

Sana:do you think she would be happy seeing you like this?.....when you love someone you always want that person to be happy irrespective you are yourself happy or not but you wish for that one person's happiness.....so she would be always praying for your happiness but will she be happy seeing you sad because of her....she is not gone,she is still with you in your heart and will always be......from now on whenever you remember her,remember her with a smile....whenever you remember your happy moments with her ,remember with a smile and also try to move on.....I am not telling to move on now ,take your time.....I know it would very difficult for you but trust me everything will be fine soon and I am always there to help you Sidharth, help you to move on,to overcome from this situation ,hmm?

Sidharth was all the while looking at her and didn't spoke a single word.He was speechless, completely speechless.He never imagined to hear these words from her ,the same girl who would act like a kid with Sidhansh,who would play with him and do immature things.He could feel his breathing becoming normal and finally spoke.

Sid:I really didn't knew Shehnaaz what to do,I was alone....and it happen all of a sudden that I was completely brainless on what to do

Sana:but you have me now and somethings happen suddenly only Sidharth they don't come with a warning......I am always there for you Sidharth so we are in this together?

Shehnaaz said forwarding her hand infront of him.Sidharth looked at her hand and then looked at her who was sitting with a smile.A smile that was saying everything will be fine.

Sid:together

Sidharth kept his hand on hers and smiled back at her.The peace he was missing from so many days ,finally he found it.

Sana:did you tell kiddo about it?

Sid:no

Sidharth till now didn't knew how to tell,he was afraid of the poor boy's reaction.Shehnaaz sensing his anxiousness, held his hand.

Sana:don't worry we will tell him.......together

Shehnaaz stood up from the couch and then moved around the house.

Sana:but I must say this new house is really very beautiful and spacious

Sid:yeah,just a few things are left to be brought here

Sana:I am going to make some coffee for both of us,we really need the energy

Sid:energy for what?

Sana:energy for telling kiddo

Sidharth chuckled while Shehnaaz giggled. She left the room and went towards the kitchen .Sidharth stood there and kept watching her retreating figure.

Sid:Serendipity

Sometimes unexpected bad things which make us sad and strife . Things often happen we don't understand .Then Serendipity comes along and holds out her hand.When Serendipity enters our lives ,it harness the luck of that pleasant surprise. This unexpected benefit or advantage comes along when we're specifically not searching for it.

It was fated to be,she was fated to be.Indeed she was his Serendipity.
