Mahi:so what's the plan for today?

Sid:no plans

Kaush:Mahi don't listen to Sidharth, we have plans for today also...let's go out today,maybe for a movie and then to a restaurant

Sid:not happening,I have office ,okay

Jay:we know you are not going to office Sidharth, so what work?

Sid:work from home

Shehnaaz was sipping her coffee and hearing their conversation. Her headache finally vanished after drinking coffee. She looked at Sidharth ,she wanted to thank him but how.Sidharth also felt a gaze and looked up only to see Shehnaaz staring at him.

Shehnaaz quickly lowered her gaze as she was caught.Sidharth looked at her keenly thinking why she was staring at him.She nervously tugged her hair strand quite aware of the gaze.

Mahi:Sana you are also going na?

Sana:huh?

Mahi:with us

Sana:no Mahi,it's okay you all go.....I will stay back with Tara and Sidhansh or you are taking them also?

Mahi:no no we can't take them ,they are already tired because of the party but I can't leave Tara also

Sana:you want to spend time with Sidharth and also can't leave Tara, right?

Mahi:yeah

Sana:so why you don't you all spend time here only and catch up whatever you missed while I will be with Tara and Sidhansh

Mahi:sounds good

Jay:okay

Sidharth was relieved as now he don't have to leave his work and also he can spend time with his friends .He looked at Shehnaaz who gave this idea.Shehnaaz also looked at him this time and smiled.Sidharth didn't know why but smile back at her.She called his name for the first time and honestly it felt so good.His name was same but from her mouth it felt different.

Sana:cool,you all talk while I am going to check up on the kids

Mahi:thank you so much Sana

Sana:no need to thank me Mahi,it's fine

Shehnaaz left the living room and went to Sidhansh's room.Sidharth kept looking at her retreating figure with a smile.

Mahi:I told you Sidharth she is sweet and lovely person

Sid:yeah

Currently Shehnaaz and Sidhansh were busy in playing video game while Tara was sitting on the bed and clapping for them .Both were so engrossed in the game that they didn't notice Kaushal and Mahi entering the room.

Sana:no ,I will win

Sidhansh:confidence is good naazu but not over confidence

Sana:so let's see who has over confidence

Sidhansh:let's see

Mahi:hey,what's up guys

Sana:just give a minute Mahi,I will finish this game and then talk

Kaush:Sidhansh you can win,do it fast

Sidhansh:I know chachu and I will win

Sana:yes,I won kiddo....I won

Sidhansh looked at the screen and then to her with shock.He was so close to win this game but how did she won,he thought.

Sidhansh:how the fuck did you shoot all them so quickly?

Mahi:Sidhansh language

Sidhansh:sorry but seriously naazu how did you do it?

Sana:my technique.....best of luck next time kiddo

Shehnaaz smirked playfully and then patted his back.She got up from the couch and then moved towards the bed and picked up Tara.

Sana:yayyy baby,we won

Sidhansh:btw chachi you were with dad ?

Mahi:yeah but you know na champ ,boring people, boring company

Sidhansh:my dad is not so boring chachi

Kaush:a little bit boring, right?

Sidhansh:yeah,sometimes

Mahi:not sometimes,everytime

Saying so Mahi laughed along with Kaushal while Sidhansh glared at them.Shehnaaz was staring all of them with a smile.She had been a long time she had been with so many people and genuinely enjoying.

Sid:what's happening here?

Kaush:speak of the devil and the devil is here

Sid:I am not a devil Kaush(smacking his head)

Kaush:ahhh

Sid:where is Tara?

Mahi:with Sana

Sidharth looked towards Shehnaaz and saw Tara sitting in her lap.He moved towards her and sat beside her barely an inch space left between them.Shehnaaz froze for a second seeing him sitting so close .Hell,why he has to sit so close, she thought.

Sid:hey princess,chachu is angry with you

Tara:why

Sid:because you didn't come to chachu since morning.....you don't love chachu right?

Sidharth made a childish frown face while Shehnaaz adored the child sitting infront of her.She was surprised seeing him behaving like a kid.He is such a kid,like father like son.

Tara:no Tara loves Chachu

Tara moved towards him to hug him but in that process she stumbled. As they were sitting on the edge of the bed she was going to fall but hopefully Shehnaaz and Sidharth held her before falling.

Sid:Tara are you fine?

Sana:carefully baby ,you could have fallen

They were so worried for Tara that they forgot the fact that there hands were on top of each other.Sidharth's hand was on top of Shehnaaz's hand.

Tara:Tara ils fine

Sana:thank god

Shehnaaz sighed in relief and then noticed their hands. Sidharth saw her gaze on their hands so he also looked at them and realized that his hands were on top of her hands.Shehnaaz looked at him while he also looked at her.They had a perfect eyelock .Both felt so connected to each other at that time .They couldn't stop staring at each other without blinking.

Mahi:Tara are you fine?

Sidharth realized what he was doing and quickly removed his hands.Shehnaaz gave Tara to Mahi and tugged her hair strand back.

Sana:What the fuck I was doing,why I felt to keep looking in his eyes....why I felt a connection,agh Shehnaaz stop it(in her mind)

Sid:Sidharth what the hell you were doing, you were staring at her,why....I am not able to understand why I am feeling this weird connection towards her(in his mind)

Sid:I am going to prepare something for lunch

Mahi:Sidharth wait,I will help you

Sid:Mahi it's okay

Mahi:Sidharth (glaring)

Sid:okay,fine boss

Sidharth and Mahi came out of the room and went towards the kitchen.Both were still not able to digest what happened and were confused .

Sidhansh started playing with Tara while Kaushal alao joined them.Shehnaaz sat there quietly looking at them but her mind was somewhere else.She groaned not able to think anything else and stood up to move out of the room.

Sana:Mahi can I help you?

Mahi:it's almost done Sana,just the vegetables need to be cut to make salad

Sana:I can do that

Mahi:okay then take this

Shehnaaz picked up the knife and vegetables and started cutting them.She didn't use to these things back in her home but don't know why she felt do this now.To her surprise she was liking it ,she was liking cutting vegetables. Mahi and Shehnaaz started talking while still doing their respective work.

Shehnaaz was so engrossed in her talking that she failed to realize that she was going to cut her finger.

Sid:carefull Shehnaaz

Shehnaaz stopped and looked at him.She got shocked hearing his shout and also it was the first time he called her by her name.She didn't know why but felt so good hearing her name from his mouth.It felt different and quite beautiful. Mahi also turned towards his hearing his voice.

Sid:what,she was going to cut her finger........so I shouted,um I am going to call the others for lunch

Sidharth quickly moved out of the kitchen not to get more embarrass.Shehnaaz shrugged her weird thoughts about him and continued doing her work.

Kaush:the food is so good,yummy

Mahi:thanks to Sana and Sidharth

Sana:no ,no it was you and Sidharth....I just chopped the vegetables and prepared the salad

Kaush:the salad is also tasty

Sana:thanks

Jay:ise toh sab tasty lagta hai(smacking his head)

Kaush:ahh....yaar tumlog mujhe itna marte kyu ho,kasam se tumlogo pe violence ka case laga dunga

All laughed hearing his whines and again Sidharth and Jay smacked his head playfully while Kaushal glared at them.

Mahi:Jay,Sidharth, mere devar ko tang mat karo

Kaus:thanks bhabhi,aap hi ho

Sidharth smiled wholeheartedly seeing his happy family .It was after so many days that he is feeling that he is living and is genuinely happy.Today his house finally felt like a happy home with all these smiling faces.

Shehnaaz chuckled and started eating her food.She was disturbed hearing her phone's notification. She first ignored it but the notifications kept on coming.She finally unlocked her phone and looked at the notifications. Her eyes went wide and somewhat teary.

Sana:no(whisper)

Sidharth who was sitting adjacent to her noticed her face expressions.

Sid:hey ,are you fine?

Sana:huh

Mahi:Sana are you fine?

Sana:yeah I am fine actually I need to leave my friend messaged me telling it's something important so I need to leave

Mahi:but have your lunch atleast

Sana:I am done Mahi,thank you so much guys,I really had a great time with you all but I need to leave now...sorry and bye

Shehnaaz washed her hands and took her phone. Before moving out she hugged Sidhansh and Mahi and said everyone bye.Sidharth was looking at her suspiciously and with some concern.

She thought she had hide her tears but no Sidharth had saw them and now he was concerned. But he didn't know how to ask her .

Sid:something is wrong
