Shehnaaz looked towards the window and started gazing at the busy roads.She was bored not having anyone there to talk with.Shefali hadn't returned  yet .She looked at the people who were rushing to go to their homes or to their work.Mumbling something she again sat on the couch and unlocked her phone.

Sana:uff yaar kitna boring lag raha hai

She started going through her messages   and DMS. She was getting bored so thought to reply some fan dms.She was just going through the dms when she got a call from Shefali.

Sana:hi babes....kesi hai tu

Shef:main toh mast hu tu bata

Sana:kesi hai tu main yaha itni bore ho rahi hu aur tujhe miss kar rahi hu aur tujhe toh meri fikaar hi nahi hai

Shef:oyee mujhe teri bohot fikaar hai isliye toh call kiya hai....aur tu bore ho rahi hai jab tu apne apartment mein shift hogi tab kya hoga

Shehnaaz went into her thoughts and knew whatever she is telling is right.She herself had decided this as she didn't wanted to burden on Shefali and also she didn't wanted any interference in her life.Shefali was a good friend of hers and quite protective and loving but Shehnaaz always had a thought did she deserve this love ?

Sana:pata hai mujhe....tu bata call kyu kiya......pakka full enjoy kar rahi hogi trip

Shef:nahi yaar kuch enjoy nahi kar rahi hai,mera khaddus boss kaam pe kaam diye ja raha hai.......ha ,kaam hai tabhi call kiya tha

Sana:toh bol na

Shef:tune apne emails check kiye?

Sana:ha abhi kar rahi thi,kyu

Shef:toh dekh tujhe ek email aaya hoga ek ad shoot ko lekar ,karle achi hai

Sana:tune dekh liya hai?

Shef:hmm but end mein toh tujhe hi karna haina

Sana:tune dekh liya toh sahi hi hoga....main dekh lungi

Shef:chal thik hai....boss bula rahe hai ,bye

Sana:bye

Shehnaaz disconnected the call and opened the email which Shefali was talking about. She read the whole email and really found it interesting so quickly replied to them asking for the further details.

Shutting her phone for sometime,she rubbed her forehead and closed her eyes.She started thinking about the previous days and how her life changed.She couldn't help but a smile came on her lips thinking how perfect was everything going in life,how she was finally living her perfect life.The thought of Sidhansh came on her mind.

Sana:kya usne baat ki hogi apne dad se?what he could've said?

Her mind started thinking about what could have happened. Did his dad gave him permission?She was unsure because she hadn't met his dad neither knew anything about him.She couldn't help but just hope that everything would be fine and his dad had allowed him.She wanted to celebrate Sidhansh's success.It was the first time she was feeling so eagerly excited to celebrate someone's success. She was not even excited like this on her own success.

Sidhansh:dad I think we have taken everything

Sid:hmm...I also think so ,then let's go

Sidharth and Sidhansh moved towards the billing counter and paid the bill.Taking all the items,they moved out of the store.Their car journey was silent both lost in their own thoughts.Sidhansh is thinking how his life changed and got his father back.Yes,his dad was there with him but still he felt a void in his life but now finally the void seems to be filling. He looked at his dad who was looking infront focusing at his driving.

Sidharth was driving the car but at the same time his mind was filled with the thoughts of Sidhansh.A warm smile crept on his face remembering the moments they had spent today.Finally today he is feeling like he is actually living his life.He promised to himself that he will try to move on from all those griefs .It's not easy but it isn't impossible also.

He pulled the breaks and stopped the car infront of their building.

Sid:Sidhansh you wait here,I will just park the car and come

Sidhansh:okay dad

Sidharth took out all the items and handed it to Sidhansh and then moved towards the parking.Sidhansh slumped on the couch as soon as they entered their home.

Sid:tired?

Sidhansh:little bit...it's been so long that I had went outside for shopping with anyone

Sid:hmm

Sidharth was feeling guilty remembering all the days when he had avoided Sidhansh actually not avoided it was just that he was so busy in his own pain,life and company that he didn't  looked at Sidhansh who was eagerly waiting to spend time with his dad.

Sidhansh:dad I am going to change

Sid:ohk....you change,I will make something for you

Sidhansh:you must be also tired ,leave it

Sid:huh...tired noways ,your dad has a lot of stamina...so just wait and watch champ

Sidhansh:okay as you say dad(chuckled)

Sidhansh moved to his room while Sidharth went to the kitchen to prepare something for Sidhansh.After freshening up ,Sidhansh laid on the bed and closed his eyes.He was feeling so happy and relaxed after so many days.He was disturbed by the sound of his phone.He unlocked his phone and looked at the message that had came.

Naazu:
Hi,kiddo

Sidhansh:
Hey,what's up

Naazu:
Nothing, I am getting bored..what about you?

Sidhansh:
Just came home....I have a good news but also a bad news

Naazu:
Hmm....first tell the bad news

Sidhansh:
Dad didn't agreed for the evening party at your home  *sad emoji*

A frown came on Shehnaaz's face by reading the text .She was just hoping to get a positive response but she didn't get.She composed herself thinking it's okay and concentrated on the positive thing.

Naazu:
It's okay

Sidhansh:
Aren't you sad?

Naazu:
Ha sad hu par koi na...btw what's the good news?

Sidhansh:
Dad said that we will be having a party tomorrow's evening so please come

Naazu:
Ohh...okay,I will come but there will be other people also

Sidhansh:
Not many....I guess just two three of my friends and maybe chachu ,chachi might come

Naazu:
Ohk....see you tomorrow, bye

Sidhansh:
Bye

Shehnaaz closed her phone and went into her thoughts.Ofcourse she had went to many events but still in her mind she was nervous on meeting new people.She  meet people but most times virtually so she started feeling nervous and anxious .She stood up from the couch and started pacing in the room.

Sana:relax Sana tu toh ese behave kar rahi hai jise pheli baar party mein ja rahi hai....chill aur wese bhi kya hua agar tu kisi ko waha nahi janti toh,Sidhansh toh haina....chill kar

Shehnaaz started motivating herself and repeating two words "chill kar".If only she knows that she need to stop worrying about things so much and take the two words seriously. Anxiety was taking over her and she really needed to vent it out.But guess what she didn't had anyone she could share with and also that person understood her.

She remembered the time when she was going for a event in Delhi where she was invited .She took almost two hours to get out from her room.She had gotten dressed up in half an hour only but that one and a half hour  she spent thinking was it right.Is she wearing the perfect dress?Did she deserves this?What if she say something wrong and end up in a embarrassed position. What if she meet upto their expectations .These thoughts were coming in her mind and she couldn't control her mind from thinking all this.

Same thing was happening today just the questions were a bit different. What if she land in a awkward moment with the guests.She hardly knew any if them ,all were complete strangers to her and plus aunty was also not there. Maybe if she would be there ,she wouldn't have felt so nervous on going.Shouldn't she comfortable with new people as this is also included in her work?Meeting new people regarding ad shoots,club appearances and events.More thoughts were growing up in her mind increasing her anxiety but now she took the control and shut them all at once.

Sana:shut up....aab jo hoga kal dekha jayega,stop stressing your mind Shehnaaz

Sidhansh kept his phone back and went outside where his dad was sitting on the couch watching news in the television.

Sidhansh:hi dad

Sid:hi....good you came out yourself ,food is set on the table

Sidhansh:you will not eat?

Sid:I will eat later....I have a meeting to attend

Sidhansh:okay

Sidhansh sat on the chair and served the food on his plate.He took the plate and moved towards the couch.Sitting beside Sidharth, he started having his food while looking at the television screen.

Sid:Do you want to see some cartoons?....news might be boring for you I guess

Sidhansh:no it's not boring,it's interesting....I will see this only,we should know about things going in our country ,right

Sidharth looked at  him with wide eyes .When did he grew so mature?The children at his age love to watch cartoon rather than this boring news.He himself loved cartoons when he was of Sidhansh's age but seeing his son more mature than his age someway made him sad.Being mature is not a bad thing ,it's good to be mature and knowing things which are right and wrong at a early age but losing your childhood and innocence in it was the thing that hurt Sidharth.

Sid:but it's boring for me....I will prefer watching cartoons than this boring news

Sidhansh:but dad they are too childish  and doesn't have logic in it.....secondly aren't you too old to watch cartoons now?

Sid:you are also a child champ.....I am not old and is there any age on watching cartoons....I don't think so.....and about logic ,it's not necessary to find logic in everything we see sometimes we just need to feel things and enjoy them without finding logic

Sidhansh looked at Sidharth understanding whatever he was telling.

Sidhansh:so what we will see?

Sid:what about shinchan?

Sidhansh:great

Sidharth looked at Sidhansh who was laughing wholeheartedly seeing the cartoon .It had been 20 minutes they had changed the channel and seeing cartoon .He felt happy seeing his son enjoying. Finally he was able to change his mind to some extent.He promised to himself to return back the childhood which Sidhansh had lost because of him.

Sid:Sidhansh I am going to my room....I have a meeting now

He didn't got any response from Sidhansh as he was lost in the screen.He shook his head in disbelief seeing the boy who was telling that cartoons are boring and illogical and now himself is lost in them.Sidharth stood up from his couch and started to move toward his room.He heard a faint okay from Sidhansh before entering the room.
