Sidhansh freshened up and came outside wearing his normal tshirt and black pants.He kept his trophy on the table and layed on the bed.His mind was revolving around the thoughts of Shehnaaz, their moments and his dad.A smile crept on his face remembering the time they spent.His eyes fell on the trophy and a thought came up in his mind.

Sidhansh:dad ko bolu....unhe toh pata bhi nahi aata ki mera match tha par bolna toh haina....wo khush toh honge?

Sidhansh was busy in his thoughts but he was disturbed by a phone call.He looked at the phone screen and smiled wholeheartedly.

Sidhansh:hi dadi...kese ho?

Smitha:I am fine mera bacha.....kya baat hai aaj toh Sidhansh bohot khush lag raha hai

Sidhansh:dadi main bohot khush hu aaj ,maine football match jeet li

Smitha:wow ,very good Sidhansh....I am proud of you

Sidhansh:wait let me show you my trophy

Sidhansh went towards the table and picked the trophy.

Smitha:very good bacha

Sidhansh:aapko pata hai main naazu ke pass bhi gaya tha wo bhi bohot khush huyi thi

Smitha:naazu?

Sidhansh:aree ha wo main Shehnaaz aunty ko naazu bulaungi aab se aur unhone kaha ki unhe bhi koyi problem nahi hai isse

Smitha:okay beta,so kya hua waha pe?

Sidhansh:wo bohot khush huyi thi,unhone mujhe hug kiya aur phir bola bhi ki she is also proud of me

Smitha could notice the shine and love in Sidhansh's eyes when he was talking about Shehnaaz. Smitha was happy seeing his happy face and saw the positive changes that had come after Shehnaaz came in his life.She had came like an angel in his life.Smitha thanked the almighty for her grand son's happiness and wished it to remain like this.

Sidhansh:unhone ye bhi kaha tha kyu na hum party bhi kare mere jeetne ki khushi mein

Smitha:so kya kya preparations ho rahe hai?

Sidhansh:kis chez ki preparation dadi?

Smitha:party ki....esa karo humare ghar par hi party rakhlo aur Shehnaaz ko bola lo

Sidhansh:dad

Smitha:tumhare dad ko main bata deti hu party ki arrangements kya karni hai aur kese karni hai

Sidhansh:dadi wo baat nahi hai....wo dad ko abhi tak iske baare mein nahi pata hai

Smitha:what

Smitha shut her eyes in disappointment. She had thought that after her leave ,Sidharth would become responsible towards his son and would take care of him .But here it seems like she was again wrong.She was not getting what she should do to make Sidharth realize his duties and responsibilities towards his son.She looked at Sidhansh and noticed his frown face .She wanted to assure Sidhansh that everything will be fine but she herself didn't knew when everything will be fine.

Preeti:hi Sidhansh

Sidhansh:hi bua

Preeti came forward looking at her mom tensed face and then started talking to Sidhansh.Smitha took a breath of relief seeing Sidhansh's sweet smile again but on the other mind,she was determined to make Sidharth realize his responsibilities. He just can't ignore his son like this .For god sake he has some responsibilities towards his son .She could see the craving in Sidhansh's eyes for his dad and that made her somewhere guilty.

Sidharth had just completed making  pasta for Sidhansh and set it on the table.He was going towards Sidhansh's room to call him when he was interrupted by a call from one of Sidhansh's friend mother.

Reema:hello Mr. Shukla

Sid:hello Mrs. Shah

Reema:firstly congratulations Mr. Shukla......Sidhansh was so good,he played so well and it was completely because of him that the team won today's match....you must be proud of your son

Sidharth was blank ,he didn't knew what she was talking about. What match and Sidhansh.But the way ,Mrs. Shah spoke ,he guessed it was something good related to Sidhansh.He didn't wanted Mrs. Shah to know that he knew nothing about it so replied in the same tone.

Sid:yeah Mrs. Shah,I am very proud of Sidhansh

Reema:so when you are throwing the party for his success?

Sid:sorry,what?party for what?

Reema:ofcourse for winning the football match and as being the captain of the team he should throw a party for his  win

Sid:ohh for that yes surely,we will soon plan and call you

Reema:great and do tell Sidhansh that he is a great player

Sid:yeah ,sure

Sidharth disconnected the call and sat on the chair.He was feeling miserable and very guilty. Was he not supposed to know about his son's match?Was he not supposed to support his son?Forget about supporting, he till now haven't even congratulated Sidhansh properly.He was truly irresponsible and  realized how bad a father he was.He didn't even know about his son's match.Was it not his responsibility to ask Sidhansh about his match?but his mind spoke Sidhansh could have told him about it but how could Sidhansh say he never asked him.Being his father ,it was his responsibility to know what was going in his son's life.

Sid:Sidharth how could you do this.....how Sidhansh would be feeling right now?

Sidharth didn't took a minute and went towards Sidhansh room.He entered his room and saw him talking and giggling on the phone.He saw the trophy and felt guilty .

Sidhansh:yeah bua I will come soon......bye bua,bye dadi

Sidhansh disconnected the video call and looked at Sidharth who had just entered his room.He saw him looking at the trophy and felt himself guilty too for not telling till now.

Sidhansh:wo dad

Sid:I am sorry Ansh

Sidhansh:huh?

Sid:I failed as a father....I didn't know anything about your match and didn't supported you as well....even I don't know anything about you also,you would be expecting so much for me....you would be thinking also that your dad would be happy for my win but here I didn't knew only....I am sorry

Sidhansh:no dad,it's okay....it's my fault also that I didn't told you

Sidharth pulled Sidhansh and hugged him .Sidhansh felt so good after so many years he was getting the fatherly warmth that he had craved for.He also hugged him back and tear rolled down from his eyes.Sidharth on the other hand, felt happy and satisfied after hugging his son.He had always thought that something is missing in his busy life and today he found what he was missing. Sidharth broke the hug after 10 minutes and kissed Sidhansh's forehead .A smile formed on Sidhansh's face and he looked at his dad lovingly.

Sid:I am so proud of you champ

Sidhansh:thank you dad....can I ask something ?

Sid:yeah I know what you are gonna ask....don't worry ,we will surely have a party but not today ,we will have tomorrow evening, okay?

Sidhansh:dad wo baat nahi hai

Sid:toh phir kya baat hai

Sidhansh didn't know how to ask his father .For the first time in his life ,he is getting nervous infront of his father but for what,it's just that he need permission from his father.Gathering all the courage he asked.

Sidhansh:wo dad....can I go to naazu's house in the evening please

Sid:kon naazu?koyi new friend hai?

Sidhansh:yeah dad ,she is my new friend....she is our neighour ,when I had gone there she had asked me to come to her place for a small celebration,please dad

Sid:no

Sidharth left the room and entered his room .He sat on the bed and started thinking that whatever did was it right.The main reason behind saying no was that he can't trust a person whom he hadn't met till now.Ofcourse he has heard about her from his mom and now Sidhansh.She seemed to be a nice lady but still he can't just trust without seeing himself. Secondly ,he was still couldn't accept the fact that Sidhansh would get attached to a person so quickly.But keeping his doubts aside ,he went to look at Sidhansh as currently he was most important for Sidharth.

He entered his room and saw Sidhsnsh sitting with a sad face.

Sidharth:Ansh sorry you can't meet her in the evening but you can invite her for tomorrow's party,what say

Sidhansh's face instantly lit up hearing his dad's words which didn't went unnoticed by Sidharth.

Sidhansh:okay dad,I will invite her

Sid:till then let's go for shopping to buy items for the party or you don't want to go with your dad?

Sidhansh:noooo....I mean yes ,I want to go,just give me 5 minutes dad

Sidhansh quickly took out his shoes and jacket and got ready as soon as possible. Sidharth locked the door and both went outside for shopping.
