Amusement park

Evening 6 pm.

Lisa clutched Prisha's arm and strolled through the amusement park, explaining to her the shops and the rides.

RM was just walking behind them, gazing lovingly at Prisha unknown to her but getting giggles from Kookie and Jimin.

"Bro! are you gonna make your move or not?!" Jimin grabbed RM's shoulder who tsked at his words.

"Nah! I-I don't think she...likes me like that. So, yeah...no!" Jimin looked at Kookie who twisted his face and spoke

"Bro, she likes you, ok? I mean she spends most of her time with you. She likes your music. She even agreed to your stupid demand to ride the bicycle through the university corridor. Even knowing for a fact, that we might get expelled for such stupidity! Man, she is all gaga for you. What more a signal should a girl give?!!"

RM glanced at Kookie who raised his eyebrow.

He then jogged towards the ladies and told Lisa that Kookie wanted to talk to her.

Kookie grabbed Lisa's wrist and told her to accompany him and Jimin for the roller coaster. Jimin got scared at the mention of roller coaster and ran to get his Choco-chip ice-cream.

Kookie overjoyed internally, seeing his plan working. He took the clueless Lisa with him for their roller coaster ride, happily.

RM and Prisha came near the shooting arena. Prisha looked at the Giant teddy bear, making RM speak

"I can win it for you?" Prisha looked at him and shaked her head smiling. RM tsked and asked the boy to give the shooting gun. He took his aim and smiled for his Prisha.

After half an hour.

RM was laughing at the scene explained by Prisha regarding her besties and their confession drama unfolding in her house.

Prisha was holding the big teddy bear in her hand and walked with her friend who wanted to be more than her friend.

RM stopped suddenly, confusing Prisha. She looked in his brown eyes and got puzzled when he held her hand.

"Prisha, I know this is sudden. But...can...we be...more than friends?" Prisha got tensed at his words. She took her hand back and moved from the scene, confusing him.

She sat on the park bench, sadden with tears in her eyes. RM got tensed at her sudden burst of tears.

He went near her and started apologising for his misbehaviour. Prisha negated his words and told him that it was not him. But it was her fate that played a cruel joke on her.

Seeing the puzzled face of RM, Prisha thought to tell him her backstory to clear the air between them.

After hearing her and Sanal's story, RM frowned, getting angrier at Sanal for hurting Prisha so brutally.

"Prisha, Just remember. If any time, you need a friend to talk to, regarding anything. I will always be there for you, hm?" Saying so RM side hugged her who whispered a 'thank you' to him. She liked his friendly hug which reminded her so much of her Gaurav.

"So? are you a couple now?" Kookie came near them excited, munching on his ice cream. Lisa and Jimin were getting restless with the scene and wanted to hear the good news that the friend circle were waiting for so long.

Prisha chuckled getting the dimpled smile from RM who shaked his head as a no.

"We are better than that. *looking at RM* we are best friends," Prisha spoke with her whole heart, getting a nod from RM. RM clutched her hand in his veiny hands and looked at the younger ones who pouted at the news, whining.

To change the scenario, Prisha told them that they had an early class and she also wanted to submit her assignments.

The friends then went back to their respective dormitory, happy.

Mumbai

SoVin Industries Ltd.

Vinay's cabin

"And send me the file once we get the approval from them, ok?" Vinay instructed Dino who was saving his work and nodded at his words.

They tried to move out of the cabin for their next meeting, when Sanal barged into his cabin with a scrunched look.

"Where is she?!" He low barked at Vinay ignoring the scowl from Dino.

Vinay ridiculed at his false attitude and walked past him, brushing his shoulders to move out when

"Uncle! Tell me, now!" Vinay stopped at his tracks hearing the raised voice of his naïve nephew. He raised his left eyebrow trying to control his anger building up at the audacity of the kid.

He gave the file to Dino and pulled his sleeves up before

Smack!

Sanal fell brutally with the hard blow and looked down feeling the pain in his heart more than the pain in his swollen jaw.

"I wanted to do that for a long time! You rascal!" Vinay then straightened his attire and continued

"You don't deserve her! She is safe without you!"

Sanal looked down crying inaudibly but managed to speak

"I have realised my mistake. Please...I...*sob* want my.... *sob* Prisha.... please.... I can't live without her *sob*," Dino looked at how his friend was shaking through his voice. Sanal was lost of breath from the tiredness in his body that could be seen from the remorse in his eyes.

Sanal looked at Vinay with flowing tears realizing his mistakes. Vinay tsked at his tears and pulled him up with an angered look. Well, he was his nephew.

"Then become the man she would love back...fathomless! If you do that, I swear I will not come between you two...ever," Vinay straightened his nephews suit which were crumpled due to the hard punch impact. He patted his cheeks and told him to leave for the day to think about his decisions.

Dino followed Vinay out of the cabin under the powerful gaze of Vinay. Vinay had previously advised Dino to not babysit Sanal anymore.

So, when his friend needed him, Dino couldn't; as he realised the words behind Vinay's advice.

Sanal needed to learn from his mistake that he had let go of a rare stone which he failed to safekeep with him.

For weeks, Sanal was not conversing much with anyone. He would go to office, perform his duties and come back home with silence prevailing in and around him.

As the days turned into weeks, he would only retrace on her memories which would whirl in his mind at being her perpetrator. His sleep would only prevail with the loss of tears in his wet eyes. At times he would suddenly cry not realizing, be it in the office or at home.

Her scent was only reminisced through her clothes that she left behind, which were his companion for the day and night.

He didn't dare to contact her as that would only increase his anxiety at being her sinner. He needed to prove himself to be worthy of her.

His family members noticed a more matured change in him and felt that he had repented enough. But Vinay and Vinod told them strictly to not let their feelings cloud them.

Sameer would always converse like a professional mentor with his son, but rather rudely - at home and in office, both.

Veena was moving to her fifth month and always had her family beside her.

But she missed her Prisha who was her only support during her difficult time.

So, when she requested Xavier to visit her; he had second thoughts.

Sydney,

University ground

Prisha was humming her favourite song, beingardently heard by Lisa and Jimin.

They applauded her after she finished the song. Lisa playfully asked her why this particular song was her favourite to which Prisha smiled slightly and brushed off saying that she just liked the lyrics.

But then Jimin become curious and asked her the meaning of the lyrics.

Jimin and Lisa looked at her with hope who was lost for words, remembering her Sanal when

"Kanna!!" Prisha turned to see her Chech with her full-grown belly.

She ran to her with happy tears and took her Chech in a lovely hug, confusing Jimin and Lisa.

After settling down, Prisha explained her relationship with Veena and Xavier, shocking Jimin and Lisa.

They both were not aware of the fact that Prisha was a divorcee and was still in good contacts with her in-laws.

Prisha's dormitory room

After Veena relaxed and went for a nap on the bed, Xavier decided to talk to Prisha who was making him a coffee.

She handed him the coffee mug and sat on the couch cradling the cushion on her lap to rest her hot coffee mug.

"Prisha, how are you?" Xavier started off at a common note. Prisha explained that she was okay and managed to finish up most of her assignments.

"I didn't mean your studies, dear. I meant 'how are you'. Prisha, you look sadder than before. Is everything alright?" Xavier held her free hand and asked her getting concerned at her healthy but sadden body.

Prisha had put on some weight from the time she left India. She would if she was tensed or stressed with the slightest strain. She had dark circles under her eyes, she had also lost interest to be taking care of her attire. Most of the time, she would dress up in loose shirts and baggy jeans. She would just moistures her body to not get rashes on her body from the cold weather.

Her body hormones used to act up at the slightest unrest. Xavier then mustered enough courage to tell her about the one person she would probably be hating now.

But he got surprised when

"How...how is...he?" Prisha looked at him with some tears in her eyes. Xavier nodded his head and rubbed off the tears from her eyes saying

"Not good," Prisha got up from the couch and walked towards the balcony. She cried inaudibly making Xavier realise that they still had the love for each other.

He walked towards her and hugged her crying self, caressing her hairs. Both didn't utter anything afterwards, as their tears were enough to assume the pain that both the lovers were suffering.

After two days,

Veena bid a teary-eyed bye to her Kanna and took her promise to come before her delivery.

Prisha assured her and told her that she could call her anytime if Veena felt lonely or just wanted to relax her mind.

Xavier then hugged Prisha whispering "Please think about forgiving him, dear. He deserves a second chance...just like me," Prisha looked at his pleading eyes and strayed her eyes away, opting not to answer.

She clutched both their hands and bid them a safe journey.

As she was returning back to the university, she saw a known figure reading the news magazine in the waiting lounge.

"Shyam, right?" the person looked up and gave his best smile to her.

Prisha then asked him about his visit to Sydney to which he replied while glancing through his Fastrack watch,

"I am enroute to a conference in Singapore. I halted here to pick my partner. He is gone to the restroom. Um... what are you doing here?! and...um...where is Sanal?"

Prisha looked down sad and told him that Sanal and her had mutually separated in the process for a divorce. Shyam suddenly felt sad at her words.

On asking about Amritha, Shyam said to her that she was in her 'anger mode' because of some misunderstanding between them. Shyam trusted Prisha to tell her only certain actuality of his complicated relationship status.

Prisha sympathised with him knowing the heartbreak that tags along with the complication of the relationship.

Before departing, Shyam exchanged his numbers with her to possibly meet her in the future. As he had the intention of expanding his business in Australia. Prisha invited him to join her for a possible city tour whenever he visits the country. Both were puzzled at the mystery of each other's better half being angry and disappointed at them. It was a curious case which needed to be solved with mutual help, they thought.

Mumbai

Nair residence

Vinay was watching the news on the TV when he heard the front door open.

"Uncle, we need to change the meeting from day after tomorrow to tomorrow. Coz, the sponsors and the board were asking for a rechecking of the reports. There seems to be some dispute among them, we need to clarify it. I called Dan to look into the Rupal matter, too. But since, we let go of the mother; things have been not pleasant as we thought it would be. We need to tighten the security around our family, Uncle! I think we should have not let go of the mother..." A rather tensed Sanal then dialled Dino's number who picked at the first ring.

He told him to reach the Nair residence asap and kept the phone rubbing his forehead.

Vinay tried to relax him telling that they will not change the meeting date as he had planned something.

Even when Sanal told him about the danger of a psycho woman on the loose to avenge her husbands and sons death, Vinay was cool as a cucumber.

He smiled and told him that he wanted to surprise the one person he thought was the main culprit. So, he had previously planned the release of Rupal's mother and told Benisha to keep an eye on her every move.

In all this, a part of Sanal's mind hoped that the bodyguard sent to take care of Prisha; was doing his job diligently. He looked at his uncle worried who smiled nodding his head, kind of understanding the young lad's stress.

Sydney

The shopping mall

Prisha was shopping with Jimin and Kookie for their annual fest in the university. Lisa insisted her to attend the program and told her to accompany Jimin and Kookie to the shopping mall being later joining them.

"Jimin, I think we can buy this for RM. He would look good in these," Prisha held a long biker jacket and asked the boys, who nodded at her choice.

As they moved out of the shop, Kookie got a call from RM. After some time, Jimin excused himself to go to the restroom.

So, it was only Prisha in the corridor of the first floor.

Suddenly she felt a push and was literally thrown atop the floor railing. She was able to hold onto the railing and not fall on the ground, all thanks to the self-defence training given by her Appa.

Jimin reached the place where he had left Prisha and got puzzled at her absence. He then heard a scream and ran to the voice. He tried to pull Prisha up but was finding it difficult.

Prisha then was pulled easily by strong arms and she immediately hugged Kookie being scared.

Kookie then took her to the nearby seat and offered her some water.

They enquired about her fall to which she answered that she was not clumsy. She had felt a forceful push from behind which made her fall.

The boys looked at each other and thought to discuss it with their brother.

And above all why did Prisha not opt to take her bodyguard alongwith them?
