The next morning

Sanal felt the headache coming at a high speed on his temples. He woke up with a groan and saw the sunrays peeping through the window of his suite room.

*Sniffs*

He moved to the sniffing sounds beside the bed and was shocked.

Prerna was crying with her head rested on her bent legs. Her clothes were tampered with and her hair were misshaped.

"Prerna! What happened?! Why are you crying?!" Sanal tried to caress her hairs at which she jolted back shouting

"Don't touch me! you are a cruel man! you...destroyed....my dream...my...innocence!!" Prerna blurred out the words in between her sniffs.

Sanal was shocked at her words and negated them saying that she was hallucinating.

To which she got up angry and low screamed at him saying

"Oh, I am dreaming, am I?! then explain this *showing her torn clothes*, huh? You are a known personality so, you can escape out of this! but what about me, huh?!! Tell me?!!"

Sanal was clueless of her accusations put on him. As he clearly remembered only sleeping on the bed and not doing anything with Prerna. He always had some consciousness even when overly drunk to distinctly memories each and every thing that might have happened.

And he was dead sure that she was lying or delusional. As he opened his mouth to object to her false claim, she immediately marched at him saying that she had the rights to fight. And if he did not agree, she would press sexual harassment charges on him.

Sanal got scared of her words and told her that he would surely take responsibility for his actions.

He promised her that he would marry her as she couldn't convince her conservative family. Her family would kill her if they came to know that she lost her innocence before marriage.

Sanal understood her dilemma and agreed to marry her once they reached Mumbai. But he was oblivious of the downplay done by Prerna to trap the billionaire businessman.

She had seen the way last night Sanal slept muttering only 'Prisha' in his sleep and not allowing her to even touch him as she tried to advance on him. Finally, she got frustrated and went outside the room to her partner in the adjacent suite room. It was only in the morning she planned the fake scenario to trap the billionaire in her web of lies.

She was well aware of the fact that Sanal was totally innocent from the accusations put by her but when she saw an opportunity, she grabbed it with no remorse.

Mumbai

SoVin industries ltd.

Vinay crumpled the papers in his hand when he heard the news from Dan. He marched out of his cabin and called Pradeep. Dino saw the way his uncle was striding towards the exit door of the SoVin industries.

He sat beside Vinay in the car who told Pradeep to accompany him to his safe place.

"Uncle, what happened?!" Dino asked Vinay with concern to which Vinay just smirked at him.

"We got the culprit who tried to destroy my Kanna's life. I will not spare them. Call Sanal and tell him to reach today itself. Arrange the jet and hurry! I don't want to waste another second on this useless piece of garbage, who tries to harm my family!" Vinay gritted his teeth knowing the exact person behind the false play.

Menon residence

Latha was instructing the maids to arrange the room upstairs as Soumya had invited her friends for a slumber party.

Soumya kept the phone and went to open the door to get the shock of her life.

Sanal and Prerna were standing on the front door with the Jaimala on their neck.

Latha dropped the glass vase from her hand seeing the sight in front of her.

She slowly approached the newlywed couple and saw that Sanal was giving her a remorseful look.

"Mom, I..." Sanal wanted to tell her the reason for his sudden act when

Slap!!

"Don't you dare call me Mom again! You are not my son anymore! Get out!! NOW!!!" Latha then pushed them outside and slammed the door on their faces.

Sanal had expected his mom to react worse than this. He looked at Prerna and clutched her hand taking her to his penthouse.

Soumya tried to console her mother who was crying her heart out. Latha had hope that Sanal would try to pick up his life with Prisha again.

But what she saw, was her last straw in her patience towards her son.

Safe place

Vinay told Dino to stop his assault on the person and wiped his face with the flowing sweat.

Vinay bend down to the injured person face level and asked "Since when?"

Rupal spat the blood from his bleeding mouth and laughed like a maniac.

He kept laughing even in his sorry state confusing Dino, but not Vinay. Vinay knew that Dinesh had planned the entire thing of trapping Sanal in an illegal business. But when he saw that his plan was not in that accord, he told Rupal to tarnish Sanal's image by involving him with a girl, which was quite successful. But Vinay was able to caught hold of the news, thanks to his mafia contacts and finish off the main culprit, Dinesh without a trace. It was only Rupal now who knew the next stage of attacking their lovebirds, staring with...

"Does it matter, Mr. Vinay? Coz as I see it...you have already lost...your Sanal!!" Vinay widened his eyes hearing the puzzled words, immediately decoding them.

He immediately dialled Sanal's number but it was going to voicemail. He then dialled the Menon house, to hear the news of Sanal marrying his assistant which confirmed his doubts.

He instructed Dino to rush to Sanal's penthouse as Vinay knew that Sanal would definitely take Prerna there for his stay.

Sanal's penthouse

"You can relax on the couch. I will arrange your room, hm?" he then tried to move to his room when Prerna suddenly hugged him surprising him.

He backed her a little and told her to make herself at home till the time he came back.

Bedroom #1

Sanal was cleaning the room which was in a haphazard manner to make it look tidy, when

"Sunny! Where are you?!" Dino sounded tensed on the phone to which Sanal asked him the reason.

"It doesn't matter! Just move out of there!" Dino low screamed at him trying to move past the heavy traffic in the bustling city road. Dino was trying to warn him about Prerna, the trained assassin appointed to kill Sanal.

Before Sanal could ask him further, he felt a sharp pang on his left shoulder. He looked back to see Prerna twisting the knife deep inside his shoulder with an evil smile on her face.

He was shocked beyond his senses. He tried to ask her but saw that she had pulled out the knife and was getting ready to charge his heart.

But Sanal caught her hand on time and tried to push her with all his might. But suddenly the fragile looking Prerna was not budging at all.

They both fell on the bed with Prerna on top of Sanal trying to stab him.

After much efforts, Sanal pushed her and tried to run out of the room, holding his bleeding shoulder.

But he slipped making the vase fall from the bedside table as he tried to regain his consciousness which he was slowly losing.

Prerna marched at him, but was careless and got the broken pieces of the vase on her naked feet.

She removed them, hissing at the pain and saw that Sanal was trying to escape.

Few minutes back, Prerna had got the red code from Rupal's phone telling her to move to kill the target. So, she didn't hesitate to take the kitchen knife and march at Sanal in his bedroom.

She saw that Sanal was struggling to go down the stairs. She simpered and went quietly behind him to give one last long stab right through his heart.

Sanal sensed her presence behind him and stopped her hand, which he was finding difficult to hold.

As they struggled, he saw that she was trying to push him down the stairs. So, he twisted his body, making her lose her balance and fall down the stairs with head first down.

Her body lay still with twisted ankles and head, with flowing blood from her forehead. Sanal moved his head away from the gruesome sight and rested on the steps of the stairs as he felt his eyelid getting heavier.

At the university

Knock! knock!

Prisha went to open the door of her dormitoryroom in the university. She saw a young-looking lad giving off his bunny smileat her with a lady in pink bangs popping from behind him. 

(Kookie)

They both welcomed themselves in her room much to her surprise.

"Who are you guys?!! And...and... why are you in my room?!!" Prisha got tensed with the shocking intrusion.

The male approached her for a hug and told her that he was Kookie, RM's younger brother and his friend was Lisa. 

(Lisa)

They both were Prisha and RM's Junior, undergraduates in the Music department.

Prisha had opted for the graduate's degree in the university. So, she was not aware of the other or any students in her department. Moreover, she had opted to only indulge in her studies and nothing else for the rest of her course tenure.

Kookie told her that his brother told them about her and they wanted to become her friends.

Lisa went for a hug which shocked Prisha who looked at Kookie who mouthed 'cute, right?' making her smile.

Just like that the trio ordered pizza and soft drinks in the dormitory room and chatted about their interest in music. Prisha wanted someone to talk as she missed her besties and would always call them. But their physical presence was still missing in her daily schedule to let her forget the little pang that she felt in between.

Mumbai

Hospital

Sanal opened his eyes to see his mom tearing up, clutching his hands tightly. He tried to tell her that he was okay with his tired eyes.

Vinay went near him and told him that they were spied by the actual perpetrators of the family - Dinesh.

He told Sanal to rest and told him that he would reveal the truth after he would recover. As now, he should rest and try to recollect his thoughts from the past few months to discover the truth.

After few days

Sanal was able to move in the hospital room and saw that Dino was trying to help him out in his efforts.

Dino made him rest on his bed after some time. Xavier and Veena came inside the room to check on their Sanal and also to enquire with the doctor about his health.

Sanal looked at his bestie who was giving him an assuring smile. Veena caressed his hair and smiled with happy tears to see him alright.

"Dino, I am sorry! *huff* if I hurt your feelings! I know I have hurt many but please understand I was..." Sanal teared up at slightly understanding his mistake of creating a problem with his arrogance and carelessness.

Dino interrupted him saying that "...yeah, but the most hurt was...your love...Prisha,"

Sanal screwed his eyebrows hearing her name still processing as to why the people around was supporting her for her betrayal.

Dino corrected him saying "Sanal you are mistaken! She never betrayed you! On the contrary she loved you more than anything or anyone for that matter!"

Sanal still scoffed at his bestie's words as he knew that his bestie had more faith in Prisha than him.

"Dino, please. I know that you have a soft corner for her. But I don't want to hear anything about her. please!! *huff* she even took my baby away from me..." Sanal gave a tired look to him which angered Dino more. But he understood that his bestie was tired of the continuous support for Prisha and the dejection for him from his own family.

Veena got confused at his last statement and asked him about the 'baby' that he was referring to.

When Sanal told her about the pregnancy reports, Veena looked at Xavier who told him that Prisha was never pregnant, it was Veena. He was reluctant to their claim but when Veena told her the reason behind Prisha using her name instead of Veena's. But still they saw that Sanal was not fully satisfied with the truth and thought on why did Prisha not tell him the truth herself.

Dino felt that it would be much better if Sanal heard the reality from the culprit's own mouth. As Sanal knew that his family and friends only supported Prisha with their recent ignorance and hatred for him.

He then changed the topic and told him about the office work.

After few days, Sanal was discharged from the hospital and had even started to resume his work in office.

Dino had advised him to rest but Sanal was adamant to busy his mind with office work than the events that had disturbed him so much.

His family noticed his behaviour with them. Sanal would always agree for the things that his family would ask from him.

He would not question their words spoken to him in favour of Prisha. As she was the topic of discussion most of the time on the dinner table, with only blaming him and praising her.

He would at time leave the room under the pretend of a headache or important call to avoid the name – Prisha. He knew that she was not at fault but somehow he couldn't set his mind to accept the facts that his heart was aiming at.
