"What are you wearing?!!" Prisha turned to the voice who sounded rather disappointed at her. He had not forgotten the Hotel incident that had flashed to him a few days back. He was already tensed with the party, press and on top of it his wife's betrayal, who forgot for a fact that she was pregnant with his child. He couldn't understand that how could she meet her boyfriends' even after knowing this fact.

Before she could utter anything,

"You are not wearing that. I gave you a gown to wear and not this! Was it not clear to you?!" Sanal marched at her and looked at the gown being not even taken out of the cover.

"Mr. Sanal, I am not used to wearing such dresses. And moreover, saree is more traditional and comfortable for me. please?" Prisha pleaded to him who paid no attention to her and took the gown out telling her wear it.

"Listen, wife! You are going to a party where my friends from all over the world are coming to wish me. And I don't want them to see your 'traditional' avatar. They want to see a modern and glamorous wife of the upcoming global businessman. So, don't fuzz about it and go change, before I lose my temper!" Sanal grabbed her arms and warned her who teared up at his harsh words.

At the party hall

"How much time are they going to take?" Sameer was getting restless at the delay in the party as Sanal was almost an hour late. The family members worried for their children and their safety as they knew that Sanal was able to achieve such big success at such short time would surely invite enemies.

"Oh my God! Here he is!" the reporters rushed to the front gate to welcome the new businessman and his wife.

The family was shocked at the new attire of their beloved daughter who was feeling uneasy at the skin exposure but maintained her smiling posture to please her husband and his fake pride. 

Latha glared at her son who was behaving like an arrogant and haughty husband disregarding his precious wife fully. He even managed to walk ahead of her and get overpowered by the over appreciation that he was getting. 

Rajeev hated his Chech's new attire and wanted to hide her from the lustful gazes of the strangers. He immediately removed his coat and ran to her.

"Chech," he tried to cover her up with his coat but Sanal stopped him saying

"What are you doing?! Go back!" Before Rajeev could retaliate to his brother's words, Prisha signalled him to listen to his brother and pleaded him to return to their family.

Rajeev glared at his brother and sympathised with his Prisha Chech.

Prisha opted to look down to avoid the questionable gaze at her from her family and strangers. Never has she been exposed to present herself in such a weird attire. She wore western outfits but never such an uncomfortable one. She hated the gown, hated her shoulder exposure, her makeup and even her husband who disrespected her completely.

After the initial introduction of Sanal and his family heritage, the MC told the lovely couple to have their first dance to start off the party.

Sanal took Prisha's hand without warning and went onto the centre stage. He held her closer by gripping her waist and moved to the beat of the music.

"What are you doing? Please stop it!!" Sanal low barked at her who was trying to hide her bare shoulders with her hand getting embarrassed by the seconds.

She flinched at his angry voice and nodded her head taking her hand away from her exposed shoulders.

She felt that many lustful eyes were watching her making her uncomfortable. One of them was the person who had targeted her from the time he saw her in the Menon house for the first time.

"I want to...*gulp* use the washroom," Prisha managed to utter her words to the arrogant Sanal. He tsked and left her by giving off his fake smile to the audience.

"Why is he doing this? Has he completely lost it?!!" Trishna spoke with utter disappointment looking at her brother who was laughing loudly and putting up a show for his 'friends' totally ignoring his family and friends.

Dino shaked his head disappointed at his friend and prayed for the gruesome night to get over fast.

After some minutes, Sanal grabbed his hips and looked out for his wife who was taking her own sweet time to come back.

"Dino, have you seen Prisha? She is not back yet?" Sanal glanced around asking Dino who was trying to enjoy his drink.

"You should know? She is your 'wife' Mr. Sanal," He mocked him and went back to his drink.

Sanal gave a deaf ears to his words and went to search for his wife in the restroom.

⚠️***Disturbing Scene

*muffled cries*

Sanal heard some low screams from the corridor towards the restroom. He walked briskly towards the restroom, following the sound.

He banged the restroom door from where the sound was coming and tried to open it. The voice increased alongwith cuss words uttered by an aggressive male.

The door was locked from inside. He jolted it open and tried to get to the voice which sounded familiar.

After many attempts, he broke the door and was horrified to find the most gruesome sight.

"Help!" was the muffled sound he heard which shaded his eyes with anger and boiled his blood to the brim.

He grabbed Suresh away from his Prisha and punched his face continuously.

He was crying and beating Suresh black and blue for hurting his Prisha.

Hearing the noise, some people rushed in to the sight.

Sanal threw Suresh with all his might who was now covered in blood.

Suresh begged him to leave him but

"She also pleaded! You bastard!!!" Sanal then punched his stomach to make him spit blood and fall unconscious.

He didn't stop and beat his unconscious self, till he felt satisfied. Dinesh was horrified at the state his son was thanks to Sanal spitting only anger at Suresh who tried to harm his Prisha and her dignity.

Trishna rushed to the washroom to find Prisha in the most horrific state. Her gown was tampered with almost revealing her bare upper self. Her shoulders and neck had brutal marks and her hair was disoriented. Her cheeks were swollen red with finger marks and scratches.

Trishna covered her mouth shocked and felt fainty at the scene. Amritha grabbed her and put her down softly. She went to cover Prisha with a blanket given by the staff.

Vinay saw the way his nephew was beating the man and didn't stop him. Dino grabbed the crying Sanal and took him away from the questionable crowd.

Prisha's room

Prisha zoned at nowhere and felt deaf at the frequent calls made by Uvika.

"Please, Kanna. Speak!!"

Vinay caressed her hair who looked at him at his call. She saw her 'Appa', the only one who could protect her, save her and punish all her sinners. Her lips quivered muttering 'Appa' but she couldn't move her limbs to reach out to him. Her hands became lifeless, Vinay saw this and touched her hands which jerked. She lifted both her hands for his fatherly warmth. Vinay took her in his hug and caressed her hairs. She couldn't hold back her tears anymore and burst out in front of him crying, not caring about the people and their sympathetic gaze on her.

"Appa! He touched me.... he ...*sob*...tried to.... *sob badly*. He slapp.... *sob* *showing her cheeks*..he tore my...gow...wn...*sob*" Vinay hugged her, crying alongwith her, shushing her. He looked at Sanal who was still at the scene in front of him. Sanal saw how his wife was getting the support from his uncle who had managed to silence her sinner, with no remorse.

Sonia went to them and caressed Prisha's hair who was not stopping her loud cries. Prisha was tired of the daily fights with her Sanal, his accusations, his hatred and today's incident only worsened her mental trauma. She couldn't face herself at not being able to protect herself.

Where did the brave and confident Prisha go?

Who would fight for her rights?

Who would make her perpetuators pay for their evils?

The doctor came and calmed her with the medications. Sharanya was speechless at the whole situation. Latha didn't leave her side and consoled her who was utterly shocked looking at her crying daughter.

"Sharu!!" Latha managed to grab her before she fell on the ground. Pradeep took her unconscious self and placed her softly on the couch.

The doctor attended to her and advised the crowd to clear out of the room.

Pradeep felt relieved after seeing his wife stable with the immediate medication. Vinay and him tried to silence the press who wanted to tarnish the name of the new businessman and his innocent wife.

"About Suresh's family," Pradeep asked Vinay who snickered and told him that he need not worry about dead people and their leftovers who had begged him to let them breath.

For the few days, Prisha would opt to stay in her room. She would not talk to anyone and even miss her food under the pretext of stomach pain.

Sanal saw another side of his Prisha which was silence – utter silence. His once perky, smiling wife was confounded to the four walls of his room.

He thought to take her to the hospital for any minor injuries and also to check on his unborn kid.

Ring! Ring!

"Prisha! Good news! I could get the documents that we wanted for the marriage approval. Now, we can proceed with our plan. Can you meet me in the Grand Plaza? I need to discuss with you our next plan of action. Do come, dear?" Prisha saw the message on her phone. She smiled for the first time after the incident. She messaged back a 'yes' and prepared to get ready to meet Xavier.

At the Grand Plaza

"Prisha! I thought you would never come," Xavier took her in a friendly hug who patted his back lovingly.

Prisha smiled at him weakly and told him about the plan that they would enact next week.

Xavier was thankful to Prisha who had informed him about Veena and their baby. He had apparently broken off his engagement with Tina and had tried to contact Veena many a times. But since she was angry and sad at his betrayal, she kept his messages on read.

"What is this?!" Prisha looked at the small ring box presented to her by Xavier who was smiling at her. She opened it and was surprised to see a pretty angel-wing gold ring. Xavier smiled at her teary face stating that she was the angel in his and Veena's life. 

"A small gift from me to you. You have managed to give me the happy news of becoming a father and I will always be indebted to you, dear Prisha," Xavier hugged her out of the responsibility that she had carried for her Veena Chech. She wore it to as a sign of gratitude for his appreciative words, getting a lovely pat on her cheeks.

Not far from their table was one man who came at that time and saw the scene which broke his heart and trust that she had managed to break the second time. He had again received some photos of his wife with her foreigner friend and was getting his anger built up by the second. So, he had reached the cafe to check the reality of the photos.

His eyes turned red with hatred and disgust for her who just wanted his family name and wealth for her and not his love.

He was now confident enough about his doubts on her. She was indeed a conniving, disgraceful and shameless gold digger like her mother.

Sanal had found out about the situation in which Sharanya had married Pradeep. Her background and the cunning way Sharanya's mother had arranged for their marriage just like how Sharanya had done for him and Prisha.

He however had hope that his Prisha would be unaware of Sharanya's foul play. As she would only pour her eternal love, care and respect only for him and his family. Her love was unbiased for him. She genuinely loved him and not his wealth or fame.

But as he witnessed the scene in front of his eyes, confirmed that even Prisha was involved in this act of fake marriage.

He thought to deal with the situation in his way and not leave any room for mistakes, alongwith securing a future for his baby without the shadow of the cunning mother.
