Veena's room

Veena sat on her bed remembering her sweet time with Xavier who was going to be someone's else.

She thought to sleep off to get up freshen for tomorrow's function.

Ping!

She grabbed her phone to get a message from Xavier. She opened the message to get the obvious.

'I know I have no right to call you or message you after what I have done to you. But please Baby, give me a chance to explain myself. I just need few minutes with you. Please at least have a video call with me. I can't take this burden with me.'

She dropped her phone down on the bed, crying her bad luck to again trusting the wrong person.

She decided to end all her ties with him and messaged him to video call her now.

"Hey" Xavier looked at the dreaded condition of his Veena who didn't bother to look at him.

"Just talk what you want to say and end this," Veena spoke sternly to him in shaky voice and wiped her tears.

"Veena, my uncle had fixed our marriage in our childhood. I wanted to tell you for a long time. That was the reason why I was encouraging you to marry me asap. I wanted to tell him about us and avoid this marriage for good. But...he had made me what I am today. I just...just couldn't say no to him," Xavier said with his broken voice looking at her.

"So, you wanted me to marry you to escape out of your burden and...and not because you loved me. Is that what you are trying to tell me?!!" Veena was enraged at his words and counterquestioned him who tried to negate her words.

"No!! I genuinely love you, Veena. But, if he knew that I had interest in marrying you then he would have understood..." Xavier tried to tell her his dilemma.

Veena raised her palm at him and spoke

"I don't want to hear any more excuses from you, Mr. Xavier. I regret the day I met you. Don't ever try to..." She closed the video call and cried her heart out at her fate.

She didn't realise that she had cried herself to sleep.

The next day

Prisha had gone to the boutique for her last trial of her reception lehenga. She had Benisha and Gaurav accompany her to the boutique.

Both of them were busy in their own world to not notice Prisha come out and talk to the designer about the adjustments in her lehenga.

She felt that she had put on some weight since the last time she tried the dress.

Sharanya had started pouring her love to her by making all her favourite dishes almost every day.

Benisha used to tease her saying that she would have to attach extra clothing in her lehenga at the time of her reception if she continues to eat like this.

However, her Sanal loved her chubby self. He would always pinch her chubby cheeks, just to make her wince at his mischief.

She blushed remembering her sweet time with her fiancé who used to call her every day checking her.

She got a call on her phone and was not able to hear the voice from the other side. So, she went outside the boutique to check for the person who called her.

Suddenly she felt a pull and was dragged to the van making her scream.

As she was about to be dumped in the van, the man who had caught her went flying at the powerful punch that he received.

Prisha was hugged by her Sanal who caressed her hairs.

He told her to move inside the boutique and call the police. She refused at first but he forced her to go inside for her own safety.

Prisha rushed inside and told her friends about the incident outside. Gaurav ran out to help Sanal who was fighting off the kidnappers with blow after blow.

The police came on time to capture the goons out of whom some managed to escape.

Sanal gave his statements and told the police officer about his inability to go to the station as he didn't want unnecessary news to spread. Especially so near to his wedding.

He hugged his frightened Prisha who was badly jolted at the incidents. She cried in his shoulder finding solace in his arms.

Varma residence

Pradeep was finding it hard to believe that someone would try so hard to hurt his daughter.

This was the third time that there was an attempted kidnapping.

Previn instructed his men to strength the security around the house. He appointed a guard for his sister who was still crying in her Sanal's arms. Sanal was caressing her arms to calm her.

After the discussion with the family to caution themselves with any suspicious activities. Sanal took his Prisha to her bedroom.

He knelt in front of her and cupped her face wiping her tears. She looked at him and hugged him tightly.

Sanal was not understanding how he could calm her. He backed a little and kissed her trying to calm her.

He didn't realise that he had hovered her and was taking her rosy lips passionately.

She didn't object to his advances and slipped her hands in his wavy hairs bringing him closer.

He backed and tried to unbutton her kurta buttons to move forward. He felt his heartbeat increasing by the minute.

"No," Prisha caught his hands making him look at her questionably.

"Sunshine, we are getting married in a week. I don't think this will make any difference *breathing heavily*" Sanal caressed her cheeks who got up and buttoned her kurta.

She held his hands closer to her heart and spoke looking in his desperate eyes.

"It will. Coz, I want our special moment to be perfect. And not rush into things just because we couldn't hold ourselves back,"

Sanal was not understanding her words and tsked trying to move closer. But she held his chest and smiled saying

"Sunny, our love is special. I want to love each and every inch of you. And not just your heart. Your soul too. That night, we will not be two souls and two bodies, but two bodies and one soul. That night I will become yours and you will be mine, forever," Sanal looked in her sincere eyes which were spelling only love for – him.

He pressed his forehead on hers and inhaled deeply knowing the meaning behind her words. She then spoke in hushed words

"Coz...you are my soulmate..." Sanal raised his eyes at her lovingly and kissed her quivering lips with their tiny tears falling on their lips.

"I love you so much," He finally confessed to her who felt elated at his truthful words.

"I love you, too. Sunny," Prisha cupped his face and rubbed her nose on his, to earn a hearty chuckle from him.

Menon residence

Sanal pressed the back of his head on the door and remembered the words by his Prisha.

He scoffed and saw that the living room was getting nosy by the minute with his family member's audible discussion.

He strode happily to his family and went to provide his inputs for his special day.

The family decided to visit their village to get the blessings for the young couple for their auspicious day.

Pradeep gave his approval to travel to the village along with the Nairs.

Menons would travel a day later as Sameer was engaged with office work and Soumya had her finals along with Vineeth who stayed with them.

"Dad, we have to present the final draft to the academic experts for their advice on the curriculum. Shall I keep it two days after?" Sanal asked his father while working on his laptop.

Sameer told him to try to move it after the wedding as it would only pressurise them.

Dino came from the kitchen munching on the fritters from his plate and sat beside Sanal who was busy with the planner.

"Dude, when we are we going to your village, hm? *munching audibly*" Sanal gave an irritated look to him and said that they would be travelling after two days.

"So, you are ok with that?!!" Dino was surprised that his bestie agreed to not travelling with his sunshine.

Sanal said that office needed his attention as Vinay had high hopes on him for the new project.

Menons hometown

Prisha walked towards the mansion and was welcomed by the housekeeper. Sonia asked the housekeeper to bring the oil lit lamp to welcome their new bride in their ancestral house.

Sonia blessed Prisha and lovingly welcomed their guests to the ancestral house.

Prisha got the room in the ground floor alongwith Benisha and Uvika. Gaurav went with Previn to the first floor, disappointed.

Uvika joined Sonia to assist in the preparation of refreshments for the family members.

Sharanya was preparing the pulav which was Prisha's favourite.

"Prisha is a real foodie, isn't she?" Sonia jokingly asked Sharanya who nodded saying that Prisha was always a chubby baby from her childhood.

"It was a difficult time for her. When Ishu was only 12 years, the doctor diagnosed her with obesity. She was 55kg! We were worried for her, especially Pradeep," Sharanya remembered Prisha's struggle with obesity at the start of her adolescent.

"It was only after Pradeep made her go through a healthy diet, regular exercises that she was able to control her weight. He always scolds me to pamper her with her favourite foods. But I can't help it...like my only daughter is getting away from me.... every day..." Sharanya's voice shaked talking about her daughter's marriage which was breaking her from inside.

Sonia went near her and hugged her saying "Sharanya, she is not going anywhere. She is just moving from one loving family to another. Latha will love her like her own daughter. Prisha is the luckiest girl in the world. She is going to have such loving parents, siblings and of course, Sanal who loves her so much. We all have seen their interaction from the time of their engagement,"

Uvika affirmed on Sonia's words and try to console her mom-in-law.

Sharanya agreed at the luck of her daughter who was blessed with so much love in her life.

"Mumma! What happened? Why are you crying?" Prisha asked her mom shocked at her crying and looked at Sonia and Uvika for answers.

Sharanya hugged her daughter and said that it was happy tears at finding her daughter the most lovable family.

Benisha was puzzled at the whole scenario. She shrugged at the thought and told that they were planning to explore the surrounding.

Sonia warned them about the savageness of the surrounding areas and told them to avoid the forests.

Gaurav was somehow convinced to be away from the forest area to get a slap on his biceps by Benisha.

Previn also agreed and warned them to not strayto the forest area. Uvika suggested a trip near the fields to pass their timein the village and also to ease up the tension in the room.
