"Hello, did we miss the engagement?" Sanal got worried at the voice and left Prisha's hand. He saw her after a period of one whole month with Shyam. 

Sonia saw the worry on Sanal's face and clutched Vinay's hand who understood the situation.

Amritha rushed to the new couple and hugged Prisha taking her by surprise. Shyam shaked Sanal's hand congratulating him, who was still in shock.

Dino cursed their timing and looked at Vinay who signalled him to take Amritha away from them.

"Hey, why don't we go to the buffet? You all must be hungry, right?" Dino grabbed Amritha and Shyam's shoulder and took them to the buffet area.

Sanal was lost for some time thinking why had God decided to play with him so cruelly.

Prisha held his hands softly and asked for his sudden change of emotions. He tried to smile at her and excused himself to get fresh air.

In the front patio

Sanal sat on the patio sitting area thinking of a way out of this puzzled situation.

When he had started to love Prisha, why did Amritha come back?

He put down his head clutching the back of his neck.

"She doesn't need to know," Sanal looked at his uncle who had bought some juice to quench his dry throat.

"But, uncle. She should. I don't want to hide anything from her. Especially about Ami," Sanal made up his mind to tell the truth about him and Amritha to Prisha.

"She will. But not now. Now let her enjoy this happiness...with you. Sanal, we all go through pains, but coming out of it is the best healing therapy for that pain," Vinay put his hand on Sanal's shoulder who looked at the wise words of his uncle.

He nodded and agreed to tell the truth to Prisha later. Vinay took him inside to his Prisha.

Prisha was waiting for Sanal near the Buffet counter. As she wanted to have him beside her. She was feeling uneasy ever since Amritha and Shyam had turned up to the party, which was puzzling her.

"Isha, why don't you have the food? It is going to be late," Sonia came towards her to get her have some food. As the buffet was almost getting emptied with the crowd.

"Aunty, I am waiting for..." Before she could finish her sentence, she saw Sanal stride towards her with a smile.

"Shall we have dinner?" Sanal took her hand and walked with her to the buffet, getting a big smile from her.

Prisha looked back at Sonia who smiled at her nodding.

At the buffet, Sanal helped Prisha to take her plate and they managed to find the seat to have their dinner together.

"Shyam you should try this. It's so tasty," Amritha fed Shyam the sweet that she had from her plate. They both were lovingly involved in each other's talk ignoring the people around them, making a certain loverboy mad with their antics.

Sanal saw them through his side eye and looked at Prisha.

"Prisha, you wanna try these. Hm?" Sanal bought the savoury curry in the spoon to her mouth.

Prisha was not used to PDA so she refused him gently. But he insisted her. She looked around and saw that most of the people were busy in their own world.

So, she ate from his spoon which pleased him. He again bought the filled spoon to her making her whisper.

"Sunny, I am not used to such PDAs. So," Sanal got furious at her words and bought the spoon down with anger.

She saw that she must have angered him. So, she held his hands softly and said.

"Sunny, do you wanna see my pet rabbits?" Sanal looked at her amused and nodded.

After finishing their food, Prisha took him to the garden area.

Sanal followed her who preferred to hold his hands to guide him. 

In a cage, there were some rabbits who were nibbling at the cabbage leaves, she had put for them earlier. The rabbits were kept in a cage adjacent to the pond making it naturally habitual for them.

Both of them knelt on the dry grass in front of the cages.

Sanal started to pet them and making weird petting sounds at them. Prisha chuckled at his attempt to get their attention.

She bought some carrot leaves from the basket nearby and handed them to Sanal. He took them from her and tried to feed the rabbits, who started munching from his hands.

He chuckled at them and looked proudly at Prisha who smiled for him.

Then he saw a single rabbit in a separate cage who was munching the leaves.

"Why is that one separate and not with these?" Prisha looked at the single pet and smiled.

"She is kept separately on purpose. You don't want them to increase their family. I still have to buy a bigger cage. Maybe after that I might let her in with her partner," Prisha caressed the rabbit with her fingers.

"That's cruel for her. Why do she need to be tortured like this?" Sanal was disappointed at her answer and slight angry too.

"Cruel! You know how many kids they will have if I let them stay together?!!" Prisha scoffed at his remark and started to feed the rabbits, not understanding the context of the words that she blurted out in front of him.

Sanal caught hold of her hands and asked

"So, will you also stay away from me, if we want a family?" Prisha was taken aback by his blunt words and wanted to escape from him.

But he held her hand tight and moved in close to her. She couldn't back out as they were in a closed position and moreover, she would fall in the pond if she tried to.

Sanal pecked her lips to get a jolt from inside at the spark that he felt. Both their eyes widen at the sudden jerk that seems to have emerged in their touch.

Prisha seems to have felt the same spark. She looked at him lovingly who got encouraged to kiss her. But

"Ishu! It is time for their departure. Where are you?" She heard Benny call out for her. She immediately got up and waved her hand to make Benny see her.

Sanal and Prisha entered the living room to get greeted by their family.

Sharanya blessed Sanal by pecking his forehead. Pradeep patted his shoulders lovingly and glanced at Prisha who was looking happy.

Latha hugged her Prisha and told her to visit their house often.

As the family bid their byes, Sanal told that he wanted to talk to Prisha, alone.

Their siblings teased them but they decided to stray away from the lot.

"Can you come to meet me in the café at the park? I want to tell you something important." Saying so Sanal clutched her hands caressing it.

Prisha nodded her head blushing and saw him close in for preferably a kiss, perhaps.

She shied away and bid him 'goodnight' but he had no intention to not get his style of a goodnight.

As she looked sideways, Sanal kissed her cheeks longer than expected, making her close her eyes taking in each other's scent.

"Do come tomorrow, sunshine," Sanal requested her to come as he wanted to remove the burden from his heart and start anew with her.

Prisha smiled looking down and said, "I will, Sunny" Sanal liked the way she pronounced his pet name.

Nair residence

"Whew! It was miracle you were able to take Amritha and Shyam away from them. Otherwise, God knows what drama would have befallen on them!" Sonia wiped her makeup off with the wet wipes sharing her thoughts.

Vinay was mute and thinking hard zoning at the mirror. Sonia noticed her husband rather silent from the time they had left the Varma's.

"What is it?" Vinay looked at the call of his wife who got tensed at his silence.

He held her hand and spoke with a rather tensed tone "I think we should be careful with this Sanal and Amritha matter. Coz, I have seen Prisha fall hard for our boy. I don't want to break that innocent child's heart, Ma Reine!"

Sonia tightened her hold on his hand and assured him saying "Her heart will be his strength, Vinay. If she loves him then he need not worry about anything. She will protect him and her love from any outside source. She is a strong girl, Vinay!"

"But heartbreak will even destroy your confidence. You do remember your struggle with love," Vinay hugged her remembering the painful trauma that they had to go through to win their love back.

"Hm, I know. But you were there for me every time. *Scoff* you found me and bought me back to claim me as yours, rightfully yours. Which I am and will be." Sonia kissed his cheeks to make him proud of his attempt to make her his forever.

"And our Prisha will surely outshine Amritha's love. She will make him realise what actual love is. And not just a childhood infatuation," Vinay thought about the words said by his smart wife who found solace in his arms, as always.

"Reine, how about a third kid?" Vinay teased her to clear the air of the tension. Sonia backed a little wide mouthed. She pointed her index finger at him and said

"You! Stay away from me! For the last time, Mr. Vinay. I am..."

Before she could finish, Vinay interrupted her cupping her tensed face and said "I was talking about Prisha. I want to adopt her as my own kid,"

"You are MAD! *inhales deeply* Please go to sleep! I am getting a headache," Vinay saw her babbling cuss words at him, moving away from him. Sonia rushed to the washroom to escape out of her husband's weird wishes. He laughed at her antics but regained himself, thinking about the future.

But he knew the bomb that was going to blast if they don't diffuse it on time.
