Jimin kept staring at his surrounding looking for a way to escape. It was impossible to be successful. Not in a million years.

This place was crawling with blood suckers. If he ran it would be the end of him. Then again, wasn't this the end already?

He didn't even get to speak to Yoongi or see him. To tell him how he truly felt. He also didn't get to talk to Hoseok again and that just felt wrong.

Hoseok deserved an explanation of why he left. He deserved to know the reason Jimin doubted their love was because of fear of rejection.

He needed to know that because Jimin knew Hoseok stayed up at night wondering what he did wrong. That's just the type of person he was.

Now he wouldn't get to. Hell, he wouldn't even to drop of out of college and explore the world like he had envisioned. He wouldn't get to say goodbye to Jihyo who was his only true friend aside from Yoongi.

"Oh baby, why're you crying?" Jeongin asked reaching over to wipe his tears.

"I—I'm scared." He confessed as more tears streamed down his face.

Jeongin pulled him closer. Close enough that Jimin could smell his breath. A mixture of blood and spearmint. It was truly sickening.

"It's okay, don't worry. It's going to be alright. You can stop crying babe. It's okay." He cooed caressing his face.

Jimin wanted to cry even more. The sweetness of his voice sent all kinds of chills down his body. How could someone be so sweet yet minacious?

"Okay." He responded pushing his emotions to the side.

"There you go dear," he grinned cleaning his face up with a handkerchief. "You're so beautiful. Just gorgeous." He added with a smile.

Jimin forced himself to smile. He couldn't blow his cover. Not yet. If there was any chance of him getting away he needed to make time.

"You remind me a lot of me. Well, human me of course. I was very naive and foolish like yourself. You seem sweet and very kind. I see it in your eyes. I'm terribly sorry I brought you here. I wish I could help, but if I don't hand him a human I'm considered a threat." The last part came out as a whisper.

Jimin had forgotten that they could hear very well. Everyone looked too concentrated chatting with each other that he doubted they were even listening.

"He doesn't need us to bring him food. He can get it himself. The reason he throws this dinner every fifty years is to test our loyalty to him, because although we're free we truly are not. We all belong to him and we're just his puppets. If one day, he shows up to your house—oh, he knows where we live, we always have to tell him where we are—and asks us to join him or get rid of someone we do it. Without any hesitation. That's the only way to stay on his good side. Staying on his good side means you get to live or whatever you want to call this. I'm one hundred and forty two years old and I don't want my immortality to end yet. You my dear, you're collateral damage and for that I apologize."

Jimin kept a blank expression throughout his speech. Is that why Yoongi had been so mad about him showing up to his house? Was he not only scared of his friends, but of this mysterious 'he'?

He finally looked away from him because if he kept staring he'd burst into tears again. "Do you understand dear?" Jeongin wondered reaching over to grab grapes sitting in the center of the table.

Jimin looked ahead his eyes scanning the room yet again. He felt a bit calmer now. To be honest he didn't know why. It's like everything was in pause at the moment.

Then he saw him. Yoongi. Sitting in the very front corner with two other guys and their companions. Yoongi had a red head girl next to him. She was drinking wine and patting his shoulder too flirty for his opinion.

One of the guys kept staring at his lap and the other was too busy flirting with the brunette next to him. Jimin kept his eyes on Yoongi the whole time hoping he'd look back.

The long haired guy got up with the brunette. He said something to them and walked away with her. Jimin watched them head to another room.

"I understand." At last Jimin replied.

"Good." Jeongin mumbled munching on the snacks that were on the table.

"Would you like a drink?" Jimin spoke up.

"Huh? Well, yeah actually. He usually has waiters to bring—"

"I can bring it for you."

"You don't have to."

"Please, let me bring you something to drink. Or would you rather?" He showed him his neck feeling his heart beating louder.

Jeongin swallowed licking his lips. "Oh Jimin, I wish nothing more. I can't touch you. You're not for me. How about...how about you get me some wine yeah? It's to the left down the hall." He nervously replied to control his cravings.

"Of course. Whatever you say."

Jimin stood up. His knees were trembling and he tried to show no fear. He began walking where he was instructed. His breathing was heavier now.

Yoongi happened to turn his head and he stretched and caught a glimpse of...Jimin? He shook his head and rubbed his eyes. Was he seeing right? What the hell was he doing here?

"Hey! Look!" The red haired said.

Yoongi didn't even reply to her and got up from the table. She sighed finishing her drink. She wanted to leave and couldn't. He had told her to stay put and so she did.

When Jimin got to the hall he looked for an escape route. If he kept walking straight he could see the kitchen.

There was another room beside the kitchen and a bathroom to the left. He walked to the bathroom and peeked inside to look for a window.

For his bad luck there was no windows. He sighed turning back and when he did he bumped into a wall.

Or so he thought.

When he looked at the pair of black boots he gulped down nervously. As he kept scanning the body up he knew it was him. The guy they all came to please.

He wore a red shirt buttoned down exposing his muscular chest. There was a gold chain around his neck. Jimin got the courage to look at his face.

Sharp jawline, plump rosy lips, grey eyes, and pitch black hair. "What are you doing here?"He smirked licking his bottom lip.

"I—I came to get a drink—a drink for—uhh—"

"Oh! Your precious little heart. It's beating so fast. Oh to be human." He smirked pressing his cold fingers against Jimin's neck.

It felt like the world was spinning and like he would fall. He kept staring at his face and then suddenly his fangs appeared and the color of his eyes got darker.

Jimin felt warmness drip from his nose. He looked down at the floor where blood was dripping. Shit. Shit. Shit.

A nose bleed.

Yoongi was hiding behind the wall. He cursed himself mentally as he watched the blood fall from his nose.

Did he really need to get a fucking nose bleed now? He quickly sprinted to the back looking for electricity box.

Seconds.

That's all it took for Jimin to be gone. Just seconds. He could lose him forever. No. If he went through that again he didn't know how he would make it through this hell of an eternity.

"Looks like you're ready for me." The man grinned with excited eyes.

Jimin kept still not knowing what to do. He grabbed him by the waist and pulled him closer to him. Jimin gasped at his strength. It nearly knocked the breath out of him.

He closed his eyes feeling his tongue lick over his lips which were covered in blood. "So delicious, but how rude of me to try you without telling you my name. I'm Shownu."

While this was happening, Namjoon kept his look on his lap. He was fighting the urge to leave. Every time this "dinner" came around he felt so sick.

To the point he vomited the whole day and couldn't even feed. Not even on animal blood. The act of bringing innocent people here for the arrogant "king" as he called himself was disgusting.

"Is everything okay?" The guy next to him asked.

Namjoon didn't dare to look him in the eye. He never wanted to bring the guy here. Yet, he had no choice. There wasn't a chance against his army.

Some vampires here were much older than him. Although, he was over four hundred years old he was much weaker than the rest due to not feeding on humans.

"I'm okay."

"Okay. How long will I be here? I have to be somewhere at ten."

"It won't be much longer." He whispered ashamed.

Then suddenly he got a vision of a boy. A boy he'd seen before. Yoongi's boy. He was in the dark bleeding and hyperventilating.

Namjoon instantly looked up. There was no way he was here, but the building seemed so familiar. His visions were almost never wrong. It was really rare when they were.

Then he smelled it. Blood. The killing hadn't started yet, but there was blood. It was Yoongi's lover. As he scanned the room he could tell every vampire was starting to notice. It was going to be impossible to stop this.

Yoongi would start a war if he had to. Namjoon had no doubt. "Hey, I'll be right back okay? Stay here." He instructed.

The guy nodded his head as he continued to take small sips of the wine. Namjoon ran to seek for Yoongi.

The girl he had brought was sitting alone and he was nowhere to he found. All of the sudden the room got dark. He concentrated enough to find Yoongi and then he heard his voice.

"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry." He heard Yoongi said in the distance.

"No! Yoongi do—" before he could even finish his sentence he heard a scream. The smell of blood came rushing through within seconds.

Then more screams. Namjoon became frozen unable to move. He heard people around him running. Something splattered his face.

He gasped afraid of touching it.  Suddenly, a fire started and he could finally see. The vampires were devouring the humans.

His breathing got heavier as he reached to touch his face. When he looked at his fingers he saw blood. The saliva in his mouth started dripping and he could feel his fangs come out. He was a monster and he hated himself for it.

"What the hell is going on?" Jungkook screamed snapping him back to reality.

"I...I don't know." He lied, but he knew the reason behind all of this. Yoongi was protecting his lover. It made sense. That's why he got the vision.

Dammit. Why couldn't he get it before to prevent this from happening? Maybe he could've helped Yoongi's lover out of trouble and this wouldn't have happened.

"Shit. Shownu and his companions are pissed. Let's get the hell out of here and get Yoongi. If we stay longer he will kill us." He said holding his hand and pulling him away.

"Namjoon! Wait—!" The guy cried.

Namjoon turned around and saw the man he had brought with him. Just as he was about to go get him a woman ran to him ripping into his throat. He stared mortified. He was helpless.

"Come on!" Jungkook screamed yanking him harder.

Good thing the guys at the entrance were no longer there. They were trying to take care of the fire and the fight.

"Dammit. Where's Yoongi?"

"Something tells me he's just fine." Namjoon spoke up.

"We can't leave him there."

"He's okay. Trust me."

Jungkook huffed looking up at the moon. Namjoon instantly stopped his thought. "Don't even think about it. You don't stand a chance against Shownu. He's the first hybrid, he's on our side, if we do this...we're dead like for real dead. The only reason we're still here is because we have worshiped him. Believe me, Yoongi is okay. If I didn't know I wouldn't care about going back in there, but at this point the best we can do is flee."

"You're right."

With that being said they both ran from the scene. Namjoon was a bit relieved from getting away. He knew Yoongi wasn't caught, but the fear of Shownu ever finding out was stuck behind his mind.

Once again he felt helpless.
