"What can I get for you sir?" The employee asked Namjoon.

"Uhh...I'll have an Americano please."

"Alright. That will be—"

"Here you go. You can keep the change."

"Wow. Thank you."

"Giving away our money huh?" Yoongi asked from across the room.

"I'm the one that works so what's your point here?" He responded without facing him.

"That's the beauty of immortality. We don't have to worry about money."  He mumbled putting down a newspaper.

"Well I'm trying—"

"Excuse me?" The worker asked confused. He had heard him mumble the first time, but tried to ignore it.

"Huh? Sorry. I got distracted."

"I said you can move to the other side. Your order will be ready shortly."

"Okay thanks."

Yoongi got up from the table and approached Namjoon. "Why is it so hard for you to take advantage of people?"

"I want to live a normal human life. That includes working and paying for stuff."

"Namjoon technically you've been dead since 1553. Don't you think it's a bit absurd to do this?"

"Okay well still. Acting human means doing all of this."

Yoongi scoffed, "So righteous. I'll get going I have some stuff to do."

"You're going to see that boy aren't you?"

He shrugged with a smirk, "Maybe. Maybe not."

Before Namjoon could say something his order was called up. "Thank you." He mumbled as he took the cup.

Just as he straightened himself up he froze once he saw Jin walking to the line. He quickly avoided eye contact as he tried to go by him.

However he accidentally bumped onto another person causing his hot coffee to fall on his hand. The guy panicked immediately as he watched Namjoon's skin bubble up into a red sore.

"Oh no! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" He apologized.

Namjoon quickly hid his hand to avoid more commotion. "It's okay. I'm fine." He whispered.

"No! Your skin! I saw it bubble up. I sincerely apologize. I didn't mean to—"

Namjoon pulled him closer and looked him in the eye. "I'm okay. I'm not hurt. It was my fault. The coffee never spilled on my hand. You can keep doing heading wherever you were going to."

The guy nodded continuing to walk. Namjoon looked up and saw Jin staring at him. He gulped and tried to rush out.

Jin quickly pulled him behind. "Can't even talk to me? What a dick move."

"Jin I—"

"You're not worth my time. I can't believe I was ever your friend." He told disappointedly.

"Wait I can explain." He urged as he followed him out the coffee shop.

"Explain what? That you left without any explanation? I'm just so—so—" his face turned a deep red. He was angry to the point he felt it inside his stomach.

"I had to leave. It wasn't safe for me to stay. You have to understand."

"Then why the hell did you talk to me for months and became my friend? I didn't ask you to. You approached me yourself. I'm so confused about this whole thing. Why can't I remember you? Why am I suddenly getting flashbacks of all our conversations? Why am I so freaking lost?" He asked annoyed.

The flooding of memories was starting to give him a a headache. Getting everything back that happened in months within seconds was very overwhelming. To the point his eyes flooded with tears.

"Jin you have to listen to me. I did this to protect you. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have—I—"

"Protect me? I'm a grown ass man Namjoon. You're treating me like a two year old! I can think for myself. You made this decision without me and that's fucked up."

Namjoon looked at the ground embarrassed. Yoongi's words came to mind, "Why is it so hard for you to take advantage of people?"

Wasn't this taking advantage of someone? He took a big piece of Jin's life out of his mind and that was unfair. Yes, this was to protect him but it wasn't fair.

He was the one who had started this in the first place. Jin never asked him to. That's why he said something he knew he'd regret.

"Meet me at the park downtown tomorrow at five."

"How the fuck am I suppose to go if I can't remember shit?"

"Listen to me Jin," he softly whispered holding his face. Jin froze his heart beating loudly against his chest.

"You're going to remember this. All of it. It's just going to take time. You'll know to meet me tomorrow at five."

He slowly let go of his face and Jin remained quiet. "Okay." He mumbled nervously. He had missed his touch so much.

"Goodbye Jin. I'll see you tomorrow."

Jin only nodded and Namjoon excused himself. After a while Jin looked at the coffee shop and went back inside.

Namjoon was now across the road watching from a distance. He swore if he had a living heart it'd be beating like crazy as well.

"Park!"

Jimin flinched dropping his book. "Don't—don't sneak up on me." He stuttered bending over to pick it up.

Yoongi grabbed it before he could. "You're too slow."

"Well excuse me I don't have super speed." He murmured.

"Clearly. How lame. Tell me what's it like to know you have no abilities? To know that you wake up daily not knowing whether it's going to be your last day to live?"

Jimin's mouth slightly dropped open, "Uhh...I mean when you put it that way it sounds...miserable."

"It is."

Yoongi nodded, "Yeah it is. I know it is. Sucks to be you and the rest of humanity."

"Hey!" Jimin screamed out of nowhere.

"What?"

"Why did you make me ask Jihyo out?"

"You asked her out? Yay. Good for you two."

"I didn't want to—I never meant to—"

Yoongi noticed how much he was shivering. "Get in the car you're cold."

"No. Not until you explain to me why did you do that. I just remembered!"

"Get in the car or else."

"Or else what? Will you dig your fangs in my neck?" He asked annoyed.

"Yes. I will." He sternly said.

Jimin cleared his throat and instantly unlocked his vehicle getting in. Yoongi smiled satisfied getting in the passengers side.

"Why did you do that?"

"You said she was cute."

"No you said she was cute." Jimin argued.

"I thought you wanted to ask her out. I just suggested. You did it by yourself." He said calmly.

"That—that's not fair! You—you can manipulate my emotions. You told me to do it and I did it because you said so."

"Sometimes I forget how influential my words are."

Jimin pouted crossing his arms over his chest. Yoongi looked at him and sighed. "What Jimin?" He asked a bit annoyed.

Dealing with human emotions was not fun for him since he didn't recognize them. "You said we would be friends. Yet, you made me ask out a girl I don't have feelings for."

"Friends don't feed on each other either."

"You haven't done that in a while. If you truly wanted to you would've done it. You're stronger and faster."

"Fine. I don't have interest in feeding on you. The whole Jihyo situation is not that bad. Just break up with her. It's that simple. You're making a big deal out of this."

"It's not that simple. I can't break up with her two days after asking her out. It would break her heart. I have emotions unlike you and she really likes me."

"Why don't you try then? Maybe it will work out."

Jimin finally got the courage to look him in the eyes, "I can't. Okay?"

"Why not? That's who you meet people. You hang out and get an idea of what it's like to be with them. If you don't work out you'll know it in a couple of weeks."

"I physically can't." He said with a red face.

"Ahh. You're hung up on someone aren't you?"

Jimin's blush intensified proving that his statement was correct. "Why aren't you with that person then?"

"It's a long story." He mumbled a bit upset.

"Well I have a literal lifetime so go on." He told putting his legs up.

"No offense, but I don't trust you enough to tell you that much about my life."

Yoongi put his hand over his chest, "Fucking shit. You don't trust me? What?"

"Are you kidding me? First, I can't remember our conversations until I see you. Then, you have used me as your personal blood bag. Next, you manipulate my thoughts and made me ask—"

"Okay, okay, damn. I get it. I'm not trustworthy or whatever."

"No. Not at all, but at least you're honest. When talking to me at least."

"As a sociopath it's my duty to tell you the truth without sugarcoating it." He chuckled.

"I was kidding you know," Jimin uttered.

"What?"

"About the sociopath thing. I don't think you're one. I overheard that friend of yours say you fell in love once. If you were capable to love there's no way you're completely emotionless. Sometimes we just close up to prevent heartache from entering our lives again. I get it. It's scary to feel hope again because you don't know whether it will work out in the end or not."

Yoongi put his feet down and sat up. "Hmm." Was all he could really say. He hadn't had a serious conversation with another person before.

Yeah, he talked to Namjoon and Jungkook about this but he had been with them for a decade. Getting a different point of view from another person was different. Basically his whole existence was them two. It was breathtaking to finally be able to share a conversation with another human.

"What's your love story like? I don't have an eternity, but I'll listen."

Yoongi shook his head no, "I don't know. It's been a long time. I have to go now." He said opening the car door.

"Okay bye." He mumbled.

Yoongi shut the car door and proceeded to go home. It was scary to even think about opening up. That's why he had told Jimin to ask Jihyo out.

It was better for him to know he had a girlfriend so his brain wouldn't get a crazy idea.
