"Tae, are you sure everything is okay?" Jin asked concerned.

Taehyung wanted to tell him everything, but he couldn't. Literally couldn't. Whatever that creep did to him had worked. He hadn't stopped thinking about what happened that night. It was haunting him on the daily.

"I wish I could tell you Jin. I can't."

"Why can't you? This is so unlike your behavior."

"I just..." the words were at the tip of his mouth and he just couldn't get them out. Even if he could how do you tell your best friend that you met a hybrid vampire who literally almost murder someone?

"I just need a hug. Can you give me one? It's no big deal really. I'm just stressed because of school."

Jin sighed quietly extending his arms. He knew something was wrong but he wouldn't push it. Taehyung wrapped his arms around him in a needy way.

He buried his face into his neck closing his eyes. Everything in Jin's arms seemed better. Taehyung felt at peace and...safer.

That was  until he opened his eyes and saw Jungkook standing behind a tree watching him. He gripped Jin's shoulders tighter as he held his breath. Jin also did the same thinking it was just to show affection.

"Jin, I have to go." He said pulling away.

"What? Where?"

"I need to do something really quick. I'll call you after."

"Are you sure everything is fine?"

He forced a smile and nodded, "Yeah. Everything is fine. You should get going too. You have to study for that upcoming test."

"Sheesh. I wish you wouldn't have reminded me of that. You wanna come over and pull an all nighter tonight?"

"Sure. I'll see you tonight." If I make it out alive.

"Cool. Text me when you're heading over." Jin told grabbing his keys and walking to his car. He waited for him to drive off and then looked back at the tree.

What a creep. Had he followed him to his college? Did he know where he lived? Or worse...was he going to kill him?

Taehyung got the courage to walk over. He wasn't the type to run away. Even from an immortal. Some of his friends thought his courage was stupid sometimes.

It just wasn't in his nature to not confront his problems. Not addressing them did not mean they'd go away.

When he got there and looked around he sighed relieved to see no one there. As soon as he turned to go back to his car Jungkook appeared in front of him.

"I see you have a horrible taste in friends."

His heart started racing and the bottom of his arms produced sweat. He gulped and spoke up. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about your little friend. Did I tell you I've met him before?"

"Jin? What? When?"

"At a college party. I met his ex girlfriend too. She is delicious," he smirked biting his lower lip.

"Oh my gosh. You're...you're everywhere."

"I am everywhere. Guess who's the one that broke up that relationship?" He smiled pointing at himself.

Taehyung scoffed looking at him disgusted. Jungkook kept that smile plastered on his face. "It gets better. I have this ability to tell whether a person is lying or not. That night I told your shitty friend to answer truthfully. Turns out he didn't. You know I don't like liars." He whispered.

He kept quiet unsure of where this was leading to. Jungkook was getting awfully close to him it was uncomfortable.

"I spared his life that night. Not my choice. I told him I would kill him if I saw him again. He just keeps showing up. He really wants to die."

Taehyung panicked and instantly spoke up. "What? You—you can't—!"

"Really? You have the nerve to tell me what to do pretty boy? Watch me."

"No! This is—this is between you and I. I'm the one that pissed you off that night. I—I'm the one that should be punished."

Jungkook chuckled, "Woah. Were you a theatre kid in high school? You should've majored in art. That line almost convinced me."

"I'm being serious. Take me instead. Leave him alone."

Jungkook raised his eyebrows circling around him, "Huh? Interesting. What is it about that human that makes everyone want to protect him? What kind of witchcraft those he have over you? Are you in love with him?"

"What are you talking about? N—no. He's my friend."

"Namjoon wants to protect him. You want to protect him. Shit, who else wants to protect him?"

Taehyung didn't know what the hell this psychopath was talking about. He started looking around for a weapon to defend himself with.

"Are you really willing to give up your life for him?"

"Yes."

Jungkook smiled pulling him by the shirt. "Okay, let's see then." He said showing him his teeth. Taehyung could've shit his pants in that instant. He hoped it was quick and painless.

As Jungkook moved closer to his neck he didn't try to fight it. In fact he was frozen. Then he pushed him away.

"You're an idiot." Jungkook scoffed.

Taehyung was finally able to take a deep breath now that he wasn't right by his neck. His knees were shaking with fear.

"I could easily kill you both. Yet, you give me your life like it's nothing. What has he ever done for you?"

"He's my friend. I love him. That's what you do for people you care about. I highly doubt you know what that means."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "I won't kill you. That's too easy. Just know I'll be back. Maybe tonight or tomorrow. Who knows."

Taehyung watched him walk by and then run. In a blink he had disappeared. He touched his heart and let a shaky breath out. At least he had made it through today.

Jimin grabbed the bag of groceries and walked out of the store. It was a cold chilly day in the city. The sun was going down in the horizon. All he could think about was how much he wanted to be in his warm bed covered with blankets.

He stepped closer to the sidewalk to cross the road to his car. A figure caught his eye in the corner. He glanced for a mili second and the memories flashed through his eyes.

He curled his toes getting a shiver down his spine. When the road was clear he pulled out his keys and ran to his car. Maybe Yoongi hadn't seen him look.

Just as he had unlocked the car a hand was slammed on the hood of his car. "Going somewhere Park?"

"Oh. Uhh...I...I didn't see you."

"Really? Why is your heart beating so fast? Why're you shaky?"

"I...I need to get home." He mumbled.

"Come with me. Let's have a chat."

Jimin didn't move and hoped he would drop the subject. "Are you coming or what?" He added looking back at him.

"I should really..."

"I'm asking super nicely." He grinned.

Do I even have a choice? He thought to himself following him behind the building.

"Goodness. I don't know what it is about old buildings. Maybe because they don't have cameras. I don't know. I like them. Is that weird?"

"Why're you here?" He whispered.

"I was walking around town and happened to see you. I'm telling you fate is my favor. Ooh! What do you have there?"

"That's—that's some groceries for my mom."

Yoongi pulled out a pack of ham and a banana. "Nice. I love ham and bananas." He said peeling it. "Do you like bananas Jimin?" He asked making direct eye contact as he took a bite.

"I—no." He responded with a red face.

"Why not? It's a good source of potassium."

"They're...they're nasty."

"Mmm. You're missing out." He mumbled with a mouthful.

Jimin looked away before it got too weird. When he was done he put the peel back in the bag. Then proceeded to open up the ham.

"I—I need those for—"

"Sharing is caring Jimin. I'm hungry. For like human food. I know it's super weird. Sometimes I forget that I'm a dead corpse who feeds on human blood. It's like my brain is trying to make me human again."
He snickered.

Jimin kept his distance as he indulged in the groceries. Maybe he would get full on regular food that he won't feed on him.

"Oh fuck! Marshmallows? I love these fluffy little shits. I haven't had them in so long." He chanted shoving several in his mouth.

It was actually really surprising to see Yoongi so excited over food. He seemed pretty normal to say the less.

"You know I'm allergic to sugar," he began swallowing the candy. Jimin's eyes widen. Did that mean he'd go into anaphylactic shock?

"No, I know what you're thinking. I won't die. I'm already fucking dead dude. As a human I was allergic to it. It was awful. Well, back in the day sugar and allergies weren't really a big thing. I can't imagine being human now and not being able to eat this heavenly squishy thing. Vampires have a few weaknesses. Luckily sugar isn't one."

Dammit. It's not that Jimin wanted Yoongi to die like for real, but he wouldn't fight it if it happened. Technically, it was Yoongi's fault for being hateful at first and for getting in his head.

"Alright Park. Here's your bag."

"It's pretty much empty." He complained disappointed.

"Think about it this way. Would you have rather me eat that or your throat?"

"T—the food." He stuttered.

"Exactly."

"Can...can I go now?" He whispered.

He sighed, "Yeah I guess. Come back with more food."

Before Jimin could even walk away a person came behind Yoongi. He was a medium sized man, long brown hair, and piercing silver eyes. Without even knowing him Jimin knew he was one of them too.

"Well hello Yoongi. Care to share your food with me?"
