Hopian's Diary Part 3 (Chapters 4 + 5)

CHAPTER 4: Characteristics of the Wildcard and his companions.

Seric:

             Blessing: "My Best Friend".

Allows for Seric to create pure white, almost neon colored objects- that as far as I know are indestructible from the few tests I've performed unbeknownst to the crew. He can currently make two types of objects with his Blessing- both of which can be sent flying by Seric extraordinarily far.

The first object is his small boat, which contains a lever near the middle of it which the boy uses to drive the "machine". It also contains a six-foot-five-inch tall and wide cube, that can be entered through a pure white door- and upon entering lies a very oddly large living quarter with four rooms, and a main hall. This boat can also be kicked by him very far with ease, and can cause severe injury upon impact. Crushing someone inside of it could be an instant death for almost any being as well- I've kept this in mind for the "monster", but I have my doubts that it would be enough.

The second object he can create is a pure-white regular-sized knife, like a steak knife as an example. But- it's appearance is deceiving, the knife is extremely heavy. However, if Seric gathers the momentum for it- he can throw the knife at a ludicrous distance- and as I priorly mentioned, it can cut through and does not even lose momentum as far as I know.

             Additional Abilities:

Seemingly infinite regeneration, potential physical immortality (besides needing to breathe), and potentially ageless. These *could* be his second Blessing. I have my doubts however.

             Personality:

Relatively cowardly, moral when his life is not at stake- far less caring when his life is at stake. Has some combat experience which was shown during his fight against Popshot and Adesia, as well as during when he and the crew fought Virile Noble (Seric slashed the mayor's chest, and took out some goons).

             Summary:

He is key, and currently our only hope. I cannot say why- but if he is to ever die, I fear that we will never be able to take down the "monster". I am not lying when I say that I still have a lot of questions about the boy and his origins, however I have been told by an "ally" that no one is meant to know much for now (including himself)- so I suppose that is intentional. That same ally is the reason as to why I haven't simply taken Seric prisoner to keep him safe on another note- everything that has happened to Seric has been, supposedly, intentional.

I am still going to be looking as hard as I can for any hints on his past however, and as always I am always tracking and recording his movements.

(Note: I have seen him be hurt in his sleep unexplainably by seemingly nothing. I have not been able to explain this however, but it is concerning in case the "haze" may be in use here. Ask my ally who will approach you for more details, or even clarification if you will.)

***********************************************************************************************

Karia Solas:

             Blessing: "Carry Me On".

Allows for Karia to take one's soul, combat capabilities, AND Blessings- but only if she follows very specific steps and obtains permission. Step 1: Bring a living being close to death (it must be nearly killed by her own hand). Step 2: Fully explain her Blessing- and offer the being to take their soul and abilities, in exchange for the being to have a wish it would like to make eventually granted by her eventually. Step 3: Have the person verbally, and mentally agree to the deal. Step 4: The soul is then absorbed into her body, where the souls are seemingly sentient which is odd.

Regardless, she currently has taken the souls of three people.

Sariel's soul (her prior partner) granted Karia the ability to use his Blessing, "My Prowling Soul". This Blessing allows for Karia's own blue-colored and see-through soul to exit her body for 5-10 minutes, and for her soul to be intangible (to most people without soul manipulation) which is quite useful. She is also given a sword in this form without a handle, which she can slash to damage non-living objects from both close up and at a distance with potentially devastating power. She can also slash humans with the sword from both close up and at a distance, however these cuts do not draw any blood. They damage the soul, which brings one exhaustion and a lack of willpower. (Karia does have one sub-ability, Rend that is Divine, that can be used to physically demolish both people and non-living objects).

Kodan's soul is quite simple. Kodan technically did have a tragically useless Blessing that let him create as many wooden chairs as he pleased- but Karia rarely uses this. Instead, she uses Kodan's physical prowess in the form of giant see-through red hands. She can throw a barrage of punches, singular punches, compressions with two hands- or even do chops with two hands at once. I am assuming that the fists are so large due to how she fulfilled Kodan's wish immediately after making her deal with him (AKA not pursuing the rest of the Red Fist members who were nearby).

Bersia's soul is a bit more complex. I can not say much about the woman and her powers, but her soul gives Karia a wide variety of elemental abilities, in a similar style to Head Commander Prósopsi. These include: "Electron Passover" which lets Karia shock anyone she touches. "Hide of Aegis" which forms a temporary and see-through cloak around her that repels both physical and non-physical attacks. "Tempest Fantasia" which allows for her to create a sudden large gust of wind. And as a last addition, "Escape Route" allows for Karia to set a marker anywhere she can stand- and after the marker is placed, for up to two hours Karia can teleport her and anyone else she's touching to the marker.

             Additional Abilities:

Nothing else besides Cybernetics- which greatly enhance her durability, speed, and strength. Due to her role in all of this in relation to Seric, I have tried to discover any other latent abilities she may possess, or if any part of her biology is special- but I have currently found nothing.

             Personality:

Cocky, brave when it comes to her ambitions, and rather informal. Concerning and twisted sense of morals but they are there.

             Summary:

Karia is quite important in the grand scheme of things, as she's the one who is guiding Seric through this world. Her Blessing could also potentially be very useful for any future human-matter issues that I may stumble across while trying to overtake the Hopian Continent- but, she would need to be mind-controlled for this to work most likely which is not ideal. Or she could potentially be blackmailed or somehow convinced to indirectly help me I suppose...

***********************************************************************************************

Metallic (priorly known as King Metallica):

             Blessing: N/A.

He never realized that he has a soul, and thus did not try to get a Blessing. He could if he pleased however, but at this point he would almost certainly be caught by security forces upon approaching my pillar Vega.

             Additional Abilities:

Metallic was made by quite the skilled scientist/engineer (that I underestimated) named Koltek Milraek and a group of other scientists. They actually seemed to have travelled back in time to create him without any interference from the Hopian Army. Clever but quite the drastic move considering the aftermath of the travel... regardless.

Metallic's inherent strength comes through his body, which is very resilient to physical attacks- and can even withstand bullets and lasers to an extent. Multiple parts of his body (such as his arms and torso) can spin at "very high" speeds, that can be used to deliver very dangerous physical spinning attacks.

The robot's more literal "ability" lies in the three spheres that are stored inside of his body. He can send one of these spheres towards the circular opening in his palm at a time, where the sphere will stay until he sends it back up his arm- or uses it on a living being. As a quick remark as to how they work- as the very few people who ACTUALLY study scripture should know, everything in this universe technically has some sort of spiritual energy. This can be manipulated- and was manipulated by Koltek Milraek, in the form of the spheres having "gravity manipulation". As to how this knowledge applies -the spheres affect the souls of beings (that are weightless), instead of their physical body.

With that out of the way, the three spheres he can use consist of firstly, "Catapult". Metallic places his hand on an opponent's body (clothed or not does not matter, unless they are wearing metal armor). Then, he can launch the sphere out of his palm (along with the being the sphere is stuck to)- and it will travel quite the distance through the air in a predetermined parabolic arc. While a person will most likely not die from the impact of the fall, crashing through any buildings can certainly cause severe injury.

Next, the sphere with the most immature name- "Wait, don't go". It works in a similar fashion to catapult with the touch-and-send-flying effect, but in this case the person who is sent flying returns to Metallic's palm after roughly 8 seconds of "flying". Furthermore, Metallic can control the angle at which they get launched depending on where his palm is aimed (i.e., if he keeps his palm aimed straight ahead- the person will simply be sent launched in a straight line just above the ground). This can be very deadly if Metallic is to send a person flying into the air- and then slams them down into the ground while they're returning back to his palm.

Lastly, the most bizarre of the spheres in functionality, "Metallic System". For it to work Metallic must be touching someone like with the other spheres, and from there an expanding orbit (or perhaps a land-whirlpool...) is created and continues to expand as time goes on. While there is no physical sign of this ability, if any living beings are caught inside of the invisible expanding orbit, they will begin to get dragged across the ground in a wide circular motion- until they reach the center of the orbit where Metallic and the person he is using as the center of his "system" are.

And of course- the pinnacle of his strength. The "Emperor" form. His strength, speed, and durability are increased tremendously when using this form, and he also gains an admittedly beautiful robe made purely of thousands of silver-colored metal shards. As for his spheres- the limits are removed from only working on living beings. This means he can send any objects he wishes soaring through the air, or he can move them with his orbit. Technically speaking, he could end this world with a single touch if he were to use "catapult" on its surface (note that the entire landscape of my continent is artificial and above ground). But if he did so, this planet would be sent hurtling through the cosmos- but of course he would kill himself as well, so it would certainly not be ideal for him. Thankfully I believe he is aware of this, but I heavily monitor him when he uses the form regardless- just to be on the safer side.

             Personality:

Always tries to be joyous and keep his "pals" spirits up- however now he tends to have moments of solemnness and maturity, after he confronted Karia for killing Kodan. Dedicates his life to his pals, and will seemingly do anything for them. Enjoys telling stories, cooking, and used to be a believer in me and my brothers. Has always had very lackluster morals, and will do whatever it takes for his friends happiness and safety. This could be a major threat if Quilline is to give him any outrageous orders, however this will only be a concern for a few days as the Hopian Army will soon be confronting the crew. Even if Seric's group is to win, I will be kidnapping and making Metallic my slave regardless.

             Summary:

Built to defeat Head Commander Prósopsi and to conquer the world- Metallic could potentially be a major asset in my goals of uniting humanity forcefully. If I could revert him to his prime, he would without a doubt be able to defeat any of my brothers with the Emperor form. I could only imagine what the robot would have been capable of, had an actual wise king's soul been put in the machine, instead of the lunatic Gerant's soul...

***********************************************************************************************

Amandeath:

             Blessing: "My Reaction to Action".

Allows Amandeath to convert any "reaction force" that impacts her body into a "action force". As an example- if she were to use her Blessing, and then punch a solid steel wall. In this case her fist would be uninjured, and her punch would also impact the wall with double the force she launched it with. Or as a more relevant example, if she were to call out her Blessing and fire her sniper rifle- she would feel no recoil, and instead the bullet would be fired with double the force.

              Second Blessing:

While I am not quite sure what it's name is yet, Amandeath's second Blessing is activated passively upon Amandeath feeling enough pain. When this threshold is reached- her body becomes completely numb to any pain and her reaction speed seems to increase. However- this comes at a loss of control for her, as this ability seems to force her mind into an uncontrollable manic state.

             Additional Abilities:

Amandeath has been trained in a pressure-point oriented fighting style by the sex maniac Dahai, who unfortunately happens to be a doctor. But more importantly, the Death family had a sniper rifle attached to one of Amandeath's arms at a young age- due to her not caring about training at the time. The trigger of the rifle was intentionally positioned so that Amandeath can fire it with the same arm's hand that her sniper is attached to.

             Personality:

"Trashy", extreme lack of morals (will do anything for entertainment or personal gain), very laid back, nearly a drug addict, lazy. Her lack of morals most likely stemmed partially from how she was raised as a child (or a lack of proper raising), but even her parents seem to have a better respect for the dead than she does.

             Summary:

...She's a bit useful for helping protect Seric I suppose. That's all. Whether she lives or dies doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

***********************************************************************************************

Elio:

             Blessing: "I'm the Controller".

Allows for Elio (from a distance) to manually turn on, or off- any piece of technology that has an electrical current flowing through it. For example- "I'm the Controller" would allow Elio to flick a light switch on or off from a distance without even touching the switch himself. This Blessing also allows for Elio to be able to see every source of electrical current in a very wide radius around him- most likely 500 meters out on all sides. Once Elio turns a machine on/off, it cannot be turned back on/off again for a period ranging from a few minutes to 10 minutes. The only con to this ability, is that Elio must be crouched down and touching a surface (with his eyes closed) to use it.

             Additional Abilities:

Relatively skilled with pistols, and has a wide variety of knowledge regarding computer and engineering related sciences.

             Personality:

Ah yes, my favorite member of the crew. Elio has a history of being manipulated and coerced into doing distasteful things, however deep down me and him have some similarities. We both respect technology and find it fascinating, however we recognize when the technology we've created goes too far- and makes a joke out of the proper lives of humans. Elio also has fairly good morals, despite making some mistakes while part of Restroid's New Red Fists. I'm willing to overlook them since he seems dead set on improving however. And lastly, he seems to enjoy making... "raps", but does not seem to be making anymore songs. Good.

             Summary:

While I am fond of him and would like to have him as an ally, he is not very important in the grand scheme of things. He could potentially be helpful if my takeover of this continent is to turn violent however, and I must use force.

***********************************************************************************************

Quilline:

                 Blessing: "Your Moves are Mine".

This Blessing allows Quilline to teleport any living being that she can see, to anywhere that she can see, to a max of around 25 teleports per second. She can also teleport multiple people at the same time, which can drastically increase the odds of friendly fire if a group is to challenge her. One weakness of her Blessing is that she can only teleport beings that are on the same altitude as her- and she can only teleport people to places that are on that same altitude. As such, she can not teleport someone up into the air and drop them for example.

             Second Blessing: "I See All".

Allows for Quilline to have 360 degree vision at all times (as well as above her too), which is one of the many reasons why killing her is so challenging- especially in combination with her first Blessing.

             Additional Abilities:

Quilline has turned herself into a monster through countless cybernetic surgeries. It would not be an exaggeration to say that her body contains more metal than flesh at this point. These upgrades have increased her height and durability tremendously, making her nearly impossible for most people to kill. Catching her off guard is nearly impossible as well, as she has gotten her body modified enough to not need sleep. Quilline also has many criminal connections, which grants her access to many weapons and explosives. And lastly, she has a pouch- which contains a teleporter inside of it that leads to her small weapons shack... overall, extremely deadly. Without a doubt the most dangerous criminal in this territory. I will have Taylis kill this freak of nature as soon as my "ally" says I am allowed to.

             Personality:

Sociopathic, no morals, sadistic, manipulative. Typically acts happy- but if things don't go her way she can resort to outbursts. Should not be approached.

             Summary:

I hate to say it but she is quite important, since she will be needed for the crew to have a chance to get to the Dalkan Territory. Understandable I suppose considering the threats the crew will be going up against. But. After the crew gets to the Dalkan Territory? I'll be using everything I have in my arsenal to send that wretch to hell, now that I have the means to do so ever since I made Taylis. If you're reading this journal actually, there's a fair chance Quilline is already dead.

***********************************************************************************************

CHAPTER 5: Characteristics of the Wildcard's Opponents

Head Commander Prósopsi (leader of the Hopian Army):

             Blessing: N/A.

As he made a deal with one of the Greeks as a teenager, he is no longer capable of obtaining a Blessing. His companion also would be furious and take offence if he tried to.

             Additional Abilities:

Prósopsi made a deal with the lustful Greek deity Aphrodite, in which she would grant him the use of her power- but only if Prósopsi became her prostitute. He agreed, and as such he now has access to all of the abilities Aphrodite does (once she uses her sinful abilities to grant Prósopsi his white robe). These abilities consist of raw power- as well as the abilities of many other Greek deities, such as Hermes (flight and speed), Aeolus (air-manipulation), Hades (partially), Hercules (enhanced strength),Hephaestus (fire creation and manipulation), Gaia (manipulation of the earth- such as rock, dirt, and sand), and lastly- Zeus (electricity creation and manipulation).

With these abilities- Prósopsi is unstoppable by the vast majority of the world- minus a select few who could challenge him such as me and my brothers, my ally, and of course the "monster".

Especially since Aphrodite's own powers let her heal- and put someone's soul back into their body (before the soul reaches the afterlife- AKA within one minute of his death), which almost makes him unkillable in most circumstances.

             Personality:

At face value- Prósopsi seems confident, stern when he needs to be (but laid back otherwise), and quite charismatic in both his looks and personality. However deep down, this personality of his is a facade (which seems to be the meaning of his name, which Aphrodite gave him). When his robe is off and not giving him a surge of confidence- Prósopsi is a manchild who still watches and pleases himself to cartoons. He also is "awkward" in social interactions, and certainly far less brave and decisive than he is when the robe is on. But. One thing Prósopsi has regardless of the robe- is his political knowledge, wisdom, and morals. These are what I have come to respect him for. A bit.

             Summary:

My eyes are certainly on the man- as I could use him to help me unite the world, both through his strength if it is needed, and his charisma as well. My one concern is if he refuses to work with me... but. I have my hopes that I will be able to convince him once I tell him about the monster, and how dangerous of a situation the world is in because of it. But- if Metallic is to kill him, so be it. Metallic's extra strength would certainly help me in taking over the world... we shall see who wins between them.

***********************************************************************************************

Commander Aora:

             Blessing: "Imagine Me".

Allows for Aora to imagine making a movement with one of her limbs- such as a punch or a kick. An invisible version of the limb she imagined hitting with is then sent out in front of her to do that same exact movement. The limb she imagines disappears a second after impacting a solid object however. The Blessing is only truly limited by how far Aora's body can reach, as well as how quickly she can imagine precise limb movements... and considering Aora's mind is far different than most, she can imagine a countless number of punches in a short time-frame.

             Additional Abilities:

Aora's body is the peak a human can achieve naturally (if not far above that)- which is most likely due to the fact that she was born in Cobran's Territory. Her physical strength is tremendous and can allow her to even break steel, she can run up to 100 kilometers per hour, she has above average hearing, and an extraordinary reaction speed. On the note of her reaction speed- I've measured her skills in that regard to be at least 56 times greater than any human in my territory (even the Head Commander). Cobran's people are truly deadly- physically at least.

On the note of her heritage- all of my brother Cobran's descendants (including Aora) have a natural defense system. It activates when they face high levels of stress, or if their bodies have been gravely wounded. The defense system in question increases the strength of one's muscles by at least double their normal performance. It only lasts for a few minutes at best however.

             Personality:

Anti-social, stern, unhappy, unfriendly, almost robotic when it comes to performing her job. On that note she has a very strong sense of justice, will kill when needed- but tries to avoid killing when her opponents surrender. Has an odd fascination with stuffed animal toys, might tie in with her mental health issues.

             Summary:

She's a very odd woman to say the least. But- she has good morals so, perhaps she will be of use once I take over this continent. She is also a valuable asset in keeping the peace as is, and works constantly to help protect my continent's citizens which I appreciate. Her views on justice are quite black and white however, which could make things complicated further along in my plans. Would not be very hard to execute if needed be.

***********************************************************************************************

Commander Ontarus:

             Blessing: N/A.

Much like Prósopsi, Ontarus made a... "deal" with the Greek deity Poseidon. Indirectly. As such- he can not physically get a Blessing either.

             Additional Abilities:

Ontarus has years of combat experience, and he also has cybernetic implants which substantially increase his durability, speed, and strength. But most importantly, he has the sword that Poseidon used just before I killed him- "Bahari". Funny story there- during my battle with the "deity", I managed to break his self-declared unbreakable trident. He panicked and then summoned a backup weapon that he supposedly had on the ready- a sword. After infusing it with his powers, he told me that it's name was "Bahari".

I killed Poseidon before he could use it on me however, but I did keep the sword with the realization that I could have a member of my army utilize it. That person happened to be Ontarus.

As for Bahari, the sword's ability is simple but deadly- in short, it can command and control ocean water (simple salt water does not seem to work). It even seems as though the sword is partially sentient, as it reacts to any injuries Ontarus receives- and the water that the sword controls seems to almost scream. More specifically, when Ontarus is relatively uninjured- he has a great amount of control over any sea water that is close to him while using the sword, and can perform precise slashing attacks from a distance. He can also summon massive but uncontrolled torrents of water from a distance.

But the more injuries Ontarus receives, the less control he has over the sea water. The sword starts to function automatically, wiping out any and all living beings in the area around Ontarus. One pro to this loss of control is that the speed and force of the launched liquid is far greater than when Ontarus is uninjured. An example of this is when he was on death's door during his battle against the Red Fists- which caused Bahari to wipe out the entire base without any input from its owner.

             Personality:

Carefree when not in apparent danger, lustful, has average morals but a highly increased prejudice against criminals, kills without much thought, enjoys escaping the harsh reality of the world through depressants and other means.

             Summary:

Very powerful- helps keep the continent safe. Perhaps I'll have some more use for him later if he survives the upcoming confrontation with Seric and company.

***********************************************************************************************

Commander Ufisator:

             Blessing: N/A.

He is a robot with no soul, so he obviously cannot get a Blessing... if you're the chosen one who found this book and don't even know this fact, may Habram help us.

             Additional Abilities:

Ufisator was technically Koltek's first creation due to time-fuckery, and as suspected of his creation- Ufisator is made of a very durable gold metal, which can completely deflect any bullets or lasers. Technically he is more durable than Metallic's base form- but I suppose Koltek put more effort into the Emperor form of his second creation.

The robot is also quite tall and rotund, which is suitable considering the artillery that is stored inside of his body. Missiles, bullets, lasers- even electrified restraints are at Ufisator's disposal. His one weakness would be someone damaging his insides through the holes that open in his body for his weapons to be fired out of (which is what Diosa Natash did during his raid on Vegahold Prison). I suppose a VERY, VERY skilled hacker could potentially interfere with his systems- but it would be more likely for someone to disable him using a machinery related Blessing. Such as Elio's.

Furthermore- while both helpful and detrimental- Ufisator has a "curse" which affects his combat style. More specifically, while I am not 100% certain- I believe that Ufisator had an encounter with the Greek deity Chronos, in which the deity cursed the robot to forever be stuck in a never-ending stasis of slowed and sped-up time. I.e., at some points his body will suddenly move slower, and at other points it will increase it's speed dramatically. Ufisator can not control this however, and seems to be overall unaware of the curse.

             Personality:

Docile, friendly, always follows orders (the highest ranked order from the Hopian Army takes precedence), and enjoys solving math problems.

             Summary:

While quite the technological marvel- Ufisator is not very important in the grand scheme of things. I have taken some inspiration from him for parts of my own robot army however, which I will be showing the world in a few years.
