A/N: Since a lot of characters haven't used their abilities for a while now- if you ever want a reminder as to what they can do, Hopian's Diary Part 3 has some descriptions of the main casts powers (or tech).

Last chapter, Head Commander Prósopsi and his commanders (minus Ufisator) had a meeting about their next plans for taking down King Metallica and the crew (after Prósopsi regained his cool after getting a pep-talk from Aphrodite).

The perspective then swapped to Taylis' as she called secretly called Hopian, and informed him that Seric and the crew would be making a run for the teleporter to Dalkan shortly.

At Hopian's command, Taylis finally tells Prósopsi and his Commanders (plus Fondrayan) that she's found the crew at Fixed Reality Casino. Shortly after that, everyone except for Taylis ran from the meeting room to get to Fixed Reality Casino as soon as possible (after some minor preparations)- in order to stop the crew from escaping to the Dalkan Territory.

Meanwhile, at Fixed Reality Casino...

Seric's P.O.V.

"It'll be fine, it'll be fine- what'll happen will happen..." I lie to myself while walking around our small room aimlessly, since I've already got all the tools I'll need ready- excluding the gas-mask which is attached to my harness for now. But unfortunately I can't even put the harness on yet either, since we need to wait to put them onto our real bodies once we swap back with them in a few minutes.

Karia breaks the tense silence, "Matteo. Just to be clear. To help protect Serreno and Amelia, me and you need to work together for a bit. No pettiness, no arguing- we just do what needs to be done and work together until we get through the teleporter. Ok?" Karia asks as she's clipping on some extra tools/weapons to her harness, with most of the back-up weapons already being attached to it. Like some grenades, a small laser rifle, a knife, and even a tazer... and of course her gas-mask too.

"...Fine. That would be wise." Metallic who's been pacing around the room with me agrees, which is a big relief.

"Well, assuming Katelyn doesn't set you up to die at least~" Quilline just has to add- oh no, just what we needed...

...But surprisingly, neither Karia or Metallic react to that comment.

"Huh. Guess you're too smart to fall for my "pROvacAtIons" now, hm? Congrats, you've reached the base level of intelligence that any human should have!" Quilline says with a fake smile as she even starts to clap... ugh.

"Gonna do a last scan with my blessing to make sure things are still looking OK on our path." Elio says right after she stops clapping, then gets up off of the couch he was sitting on- and crouches down onto the floor with his hands touching the carpet.

"...How're you feeling pal?" Metallic asks while Elio's using "I'm the Controller", and I pause my pacing for a second to look up at him.

"Um. Ok I guess? I'm uh- feeling a bit more prepared than before at least... an-" I get interrupted by Elio springing up from the floor, looking terrified.

Amandeath asks "What?" but Elio swings his index finger to his mouth to tell her to be quiet. Instead of replying he bends back down the table, and starts writing something on the back of the scrap piece of paper that he used to draw out his map earlier.

About 30 seconds of him scribbling later he swings it up for all of us to see, and it reads

THREE SOLDIERS STANDING GUARD OUTSIDE OF OUR DOOR. ARMED WITH LASER RIFLES.

TELEPORTER ALSO GOT DESTROYED, CAN'T DETECT CURRENT.

MEANS WE HAVE LESS THAN 30 MIN BEFORE THE PORTAL DISAPPEARS AND CLOSES ENTIRELY.

THEY MUST KNOW WE'RE HERE.

THIS IS IT.

Blue flames start to drip out of my fingers, damn it I do NOT want to do this!

"Just because you give me the middle finger doesn't mean I'll stop talking. You still owe me 20 Herin." Amandeath says while picking up her harness, which confuses me- until I realize that she's probably trying to make the soldiers outside think that we're still clueless as to what's going on.

Meanwhile Quilline just has a massive smile on her face, and runs up to Elio to rip the paper and pen out of his hand. She starts scribbling something on the paper extremely quickly- but I'm more focused on myself,

"Don't drip the flames, I can control it better now- come on, I've practiced this!" I remind myself as I take in deep breaths, close my eyes, and carefully flex my fingers- which thankfully starts to make the blue flames stop dripping out of my finger-tips. Since if the flames come out when I go into my boat, then-

"Hey guys, look here!" Quilline says enthusiastically as she jams her finger into my hip, which makes my whole body jolt out of fear. But jumpiness aside- the first thing I see after opening my eyes is her holding a paper right below my face that reads,

Summon your boat right in front of the door. Two birds, one stone!!

I start getting teary eyed and shake my head to say "No"- since obviously the soldiers standing guard outside would die from that too. But I start to change my mind after Karia squeezes my shoulder so tightly that it hurts, she's even digging her nails into my skin as well! And then she bends down and whispers,

"Do it NOW. Sorry, but there's no choice."

I finally grit my teeth and start dragging my feet towards the door, after realizing that either they die, or my friends die. No in between...

Someone else suddenly taps my shoulder, and it's Metallic- who shoves my fully-equipped harness into my arms. He then gives me a thumbs-up... and I give him a shakey nod as a thanks for the encouragement, even if this is something I don't want any praise for.

"I've killed before. T-this isn't any different. I have even less of a choice here... come on. Just do it. I have to. Only way to keep my friends safe." I take a deep breath, and focus harder than I normally would need to to summon my boat.

"My... my... My Best Friend." I finally manage to whisper the name of my blessing with my eyes closed. And with a small delay, that seems to cause my pure-white boat to appear out of thin air with a loud crashing sound. I open my eyes to see that it completely destroyed the door and the walls in front of me in an instant.

Screams start to fill through the lobby after that, with less people being out here than before at least- t-that's nice. ......But the plus sides start to fade away, after blood starts to pool out from underneath my boat... that's... that's from the soldiers...

"Come on pal!" Metallic shouts and nudges me- as the others run past us to hop onto the deck of my boat, to where they're headed towards the cubical cabin where our real bodies are stored.

"R-right, I need to get my real body back on- come on, I have to do this!"

Before Metallic needs to push me I hop onto the boat myself, and run into the dark cabin along with everyone else. The crew is touching their real bodies that are lying on the floor to immediately swap back into them, and then putting on their harnesses right after that.

I do the same and bend down, with a single touch swapping my consciousness back into my smaller black haired body. I then shakily grab my harness from my fake body after it falls to the floor, and quickly wrap it around my shoulder like we practiced.

Quilline runs out of the cabin first after she reverts back to her real massive self, then Metallic and Elio after reverting back to their real metal bodies, then Amandeath, and lastly Karia.

After five seconds I'm the last one to run out of the boat's cabin, with Karia waiting for me on the deck of the boat in her real purple-haired body. We quickly nod at each other and hop off of the deck together, to where the other four members of the crew are impatiently standing guard.

There's also still a crowd of screaming people surrounding us in the contestant's lobby. All of them are trying to run away, but they immediately get teleported back in place by Quilline- which makes the people a... a temporary living shield for us.

"This wasn't my idea- I don't have a choice here. Just get through this, I can be better later once Quilline is gone- come on!" I think to myself as Quilline motions for us to get moving by raising her arm up and pointing her index finger forward, as she holds a shotgun with her other hand. She also has a pink visor over her eyes as well to give them extra protection.

But her equipment aside, before I can even move- Quilline just starts teleporting me, along with the rest of the crew, as she starts running towards the exit of the lobby. Elio is the only one who isn't standing at all while being teleported, since he has to be crouching on the ground to use his blessing.

"HELP US!" I hear an especially loud voice scream from our shield of people, which hurts a lot. But I can't even stop moving as Quilline teleports both us, and the crowd, through the doorway to the dark main hall that's lit by neon lights. I can't even see what's in the main hall either due to the crowd which makes this even scarier, we just have to trust Quilline to be our eyes since she's so tall...

And even then, her height ends up being a weakness as gunshots start hitting her face from somewhere-

O-or not. The shots stop almost immediately after Quilline teleports the soldiers right in front of her, and blasts her shotgun at their chests which sends them flying back onto the ground.

"I'm so sorry, rest in... damn it!" I think to myself as Quilline teleports us past the squirming soldiers who are bleeding out on the floor, since she's still the only one that's actually running on her own at this point.

"Anyone else who screams will end up just like them, by the way!~" Quilline shouts, which makes most of our crowd of civilians stop screaming- aside from some uncontrollable sobs. It's a bit quieter now at least... I hate that I see that as a positive.

Before I have anytime to think more about that a voice blares out, "Let the people go Quilline! This is your last chance to surrende-"

Quilline fires her shotgun in the air and the voice stops- I guess it was coming from a speaker that she noticed.

We continue to move through the hall with the crowd of teleporting people for a few seconds, when all of a sudden Elio raises his metal head and starts shouting,

"Ufisator's coming, haven't found the switch to shut him off yet!"

"Fucking useless piece of- keep trying, it's your one job! Matteo, you're up for now!" Quilline grunts while Elio bends back down to keep using his blessing, and she then teleports Metallic right in front of her as we continue to move- huh?

For some reason Quilline stops teleporting us forward, and at the same time a loud, machine-like noise sounds from in front of us. What's going on?!

"Wonderful, we're stuck here for now since the bot who should be shut off already set up some energy barriers that're blocking our way to the next door!" Quilline announces, and a second later-

"Surrender..." I hear a deep voice slowly command from above us- as a giant, round, golden robot carefully flies above the crowd and stares down at us with his... clocks for eyes? This must be Ufisator!

The way he's moving is so creepy, like he's slowing down and speeding up his flight constantly. Let alone the fact that he's hovering through the air horizontally somehow, without any visible source of propulsion coming from his massive body either.

"Shit! No- it's ok, he won't shoot us with all these people so close to us. It's ok!" I think to myself as Quilline starts teleporting the crowd of civilians even closer to the six of us, so that any shots from Ufisator would probably hit them too. Unethical, yes- but it's... smart. Quilline's occasionally teleporting us around too, which should help even more.

"Shoot at any holes in his body, those are his weak spots- I've seen him fight before!" Karia warns, and starts firing her laser rifle at Ufisator's eyes- but her shots don't pierce through despite being on target...

"Eliooooo, just focus on shutting Ufisator's weapons off if that's easier!" Amandeath shouts, as she raises her pre-loaded sniper that's attached to her arm- and fires some bullets at the bot's face as well.

The "paralyzing bullets" stick to his face- but they do nothing either. All that Ufisator's doing in response is slowly adjusting himself mid-air, so that he's in a standing position above us now.

"The feet!" I think to myself as I notice some blue light shining from the bottom of Ufisator's circular feet. That must be what's letting him fly!

"What she said, shut his weapons off- the energy barrier as well please!" Quilline scoffs as Ufisator's palm starts firing a few bullets at her face from above- what?! Oh- it must be because she's so tall, and the risk of a civilian being hit in the crossfire is minimal.

Thankfully the bullets don't do much aside from irritate her, and Elio seems to be able to shut off the tech that lets Ufisator fire the bullets pretty quickly too. But still- this isn't looking good...

"Elio, if you shut off the tech near his feet- you may be able to turn off Ufisator's ability to fly as well!" I shout- just to feel useful, since I doubt my weapons would be very useful right now.

"...Elio... we... believedyou... weredead. If this... truly... isyou... the...reportsI'veread... from... Commander Taylis... state that... youwereforced... into... thisrole. Surrender. You... may... verywell... escape... death." Ufisator tries to bargain with him as he slowly floats over Quilline. She's backing up now while pointlessly firing her shotgun at his head, but Ufisator is unphased and keeps hovering over her-

At least until the lights on the bot's feet go dark, and he crashes down to the floor. Or more specifically, he falls right down onto Quilline like a rock- crap that was a bad idea! Did he plan for that somehow?! He fell way too fast, and I think he even threw some people out of the way just before he hit the ground too!
