Branch had a feeling that something wasn't right. And when that feeling comes, he should always listen to it. Branch gently picked up his life stone and felt the pain in his head which made him feel a little dizzy but he kept going. He walked over to a secret room in his house. This room was deep underground, like his bunker.

Once Branch got down, he slowly put his life stone on his desk. He ran over to his book shelf and pulled out a book called History Of Troll Illnesses. Branch scanned through the contents of the book and instantly laid his eyes on a chapter called fatal. He quickly went to the specific page and the first title that came up was life stone damage.

Once Branch read through the whole chapter, he put his hand over his mouth and gasped. "No cure?" He asked himself out loud. He got up and started pacing around the room. Thinking over and over again. What to do? What to do? Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Branch gasped and put the book down. He ran out of his secret room and looked the door. He went to the front door and opened to reveal Poppy.

"Are you okay?" Poppy asked with concern. "You kind of left us all confused and worried. Is everything alright?" Branch hesitated to answer. "I...uh...needed to...check for...intruders?" Poppy raised one eyebrow. "Intruders? In the troll tree? In your house? The toughest troll in the kingdom? Yeah, thats believable." She said sarcastically.

"Yeeessssss.....?" He said with a fake smile. Suddenly a wave of pain went through his head and he winced. Poppy's attention immediately went to Branch. "You know you can tell me anything, right?" She said with a sparkle in her big pink eyes and she stared up into his sky blue eyes. Branch felt guilty for not telling Poppy the truth but he remembered reading that this kind of thing was contagious and he DEFIANTLY didn't want her to have to deal with this pain.

"Well, it's late...*he pretended to yawn*...I'm going to bed, see you tomorrow morning. Bye Poppy love you." Poppy half smiled then gave him a hug. Branch hugged her back and frowned. He hated this. They separated. "I love you too Branch. More than anything in the world." She said. Poppy left still worried, confused and a little upset. Why doesn't he just tell me what's wrong? He'll come around. He always does. He's Branch.

Branch went back into his house.
