Big Mistake

Cry flinched as he heard the sound of Jack getting sick. Again. He walked in and saw Jack vomiting and dry heaving , his wings drooped on the floor

Cry walked over and knelt down by him, rubbing his back soothingly "Jack, you've been like this for a week's... angels aren't supposed to get sick like this"

Jack said nothing and got to his feet, brushing his teeth in the sink. He spit and rinsed, walking out with no more words

Cry stubbornly followed "Jack, please! You could die, what happens then?"

Jack laughed at that. He'd been broken since Mark had abandoned him at the hill. It had been almost two months and Jack refused to go outside.

Cry noticed Jack was acting very peculiar. He was very moody, he was vomiting and he ate the strangest foods. Cry wanted to point out his behavior, but he figured it was him coping to get over Mark

Cry searched his shelves and found a book labeled Angel Sickness. Cry blew off the dust and walked to Jacks room. He was napping, he also did that a lot.

Cry rolled his eyes and dropped it onto Jacks lap. Jack shot awake, squealing in pain. Cry held back a snort "Read, okay?"

Jack glared and opened the book. He watched Cry walk away and he started to read "Cry! Ninety percent of this is wing stuff!!" Cry called back "Then read the ten percent!!!"

Jack huffed and was reading about wind baldness when a pink tab labeled Pregnancy caught his eye. He'd never heard of any girl Angels having babies here

He flipped to the page and began to read
A long time ago, Angels and Demons lived together in harmony. It was such a good and experimental time, that The Creator wanted to try having male angels to be able to successfully carry demon children. So he separated Demons and Angels into different species. It worked, but Demons grew bitter over the attention of the Angels. A war started and they're now separated

Jack suddenly felt the urge to vomit again reading that "No!!" He practically screamed, dropping the book

Cry rushed in at the scream "What's wrong?!" He saw Jack curled up on the bed, sobbing. He pointed to the book and cried even harder

Cry picked it up and looked at the page Jack had dropped it on. He started to laugh loudly, confusing the hell out of Jack "W-Why are you laughing Cry?" He sat up, tense

Cry wiped his own tears away and shook his head "You moron. I told you. You would regret your actions. Now you're fucking pregnant! They're gonna kill you!!" He howled with laughter

Jack leapt up and snatched the book from Cry's hands, running out the door and flapping hard once he felt a pocket of air under his wings. Dark clouds swirled overhead and he flapped faster and squinting against the now holding the book close

Out of nowhere, Jack gasped in horror as lightning struck his left wing, sending him hurding downwards. All he could see was black around, hearing and seeing the heavy rain.

He felt his body hit the earth hard and he screamed, pain searing his body. Everything was spinning and he saw a shape loom close. He heard a muffled familiar voice "Jack?!"

He felt himself being lifted up like a child. He wrapped his arms and legs around him and buried his face in Mark's neck, finding warmth and a comforting scent

"I'm gonna find us some shelter..." He frowned softly as Jack only shuddered in response. He was hurt badly, his left wing limp and torn up

Mark found a large hollowed out tree. He had made it a while ago, just out of boredom. He laid Jack down on the pile of blankets and lit a candle

He looked Jack over "Shit..." He mumbled. His concerned eyes racked over Jack's wounds. He carefully cleaned Jack's wounds, taking off his shirt and tearing it up to wrap around. He even tore off a narrow strip and tied it around Jack's waist and his wing to make sure he wouldn't hurt it

He held Jack's hand and kissed his feverish forehead, wondering why the small angel would fly in a storm. He knew something was wrong

Storms only came when something in that world was unbalanced. That unbalancement was the baby growing in Jack's body. And Mark didn't even know
