J: "I...I don't wanna hide it."

Jack says softly, not sure how Mark would react. He wanted to tell his family, straight up, that they were going to get married. Why hide it? It would feel so much better to get it all out in the open.

Mark looks pretty serious, but he ends up in a soft smile.

M: "Well..if that's what you want, maybe we should tell both our families..even if they don't agree with it."

J: "Yeah..I know it's scary but..I'd rather just be honest about it. I love you, and I don't wanna hide that like it's shameful."

Mark smiled at that.

M: "So, how are we gonna do it?"

J: "Invite them to our wedding? If they..don't show up, I guess we'll know the answer.."

Mark sets a hand on Jacks shoulder, speaking very lovingly to him.

M: "Hey..it's gonna be ok. They'll come. I'm sure."

Jack smiles a bit, and later they send out the invitations.

A few days pass and it's the big day.

They're both dressed up. Their friends divided between the two.

Jacks two groomsmen are Felix and PJ.
Marks two groomsmen are Ethan and Tyler.

Jacks so nervous, he's nearly trembling..Mark was nervous too, but he seemed better at keeping his composure.

J: "D-did you two happen to see if my family was out there?"

F: "They're here, don't worry. They showed up, so they must be ok."

Pj: "Exactly. Everything's good."

Jack swallows and let's out the breath he'd been holding in. They're probably right..he needed to calm down.

However, he could head this song start playing. Soft and sweet, sounded like a music box almost.

F: "It's time. You can do this!"

Jack takes another breath, and walks out of the room. As he gets to the door to walk in though, Jacks mother is standing there.

J: "M-mom-"

Florrie: "Sean."

She says softly, and Jack swears she must be able to hear his heartbeat right now.

J: Mom, I-"
She cuts him off, rather than letting him trip over his own words.
Florrie: "I'm so proud of you."

Jack is stunned. Did she just say..she's proud?

Florrie: "You have found your soulmate. I never knew it was your friend Mark, but..if you are happy, Sean, then I'm happy too. He's a fine man, and I can tell he really cares about you."

J: "Y-you talked to him?"

Florrie: "His mother and I both spoke with him. She said she wished you both had told us sooner. I understand, that you both must've been afraid to tell us..but we support you both."

Jack can't help but run over and hug her tightly. Mark had lost his dad years ago, but Sean had just lost his father...so his mother's approval meant the world to him.

Florrie: "..your father would've liked Mark."

Jack can feel the tears welling up.

Florrie: "It's time. You need to go now."

Jack grabs her hand softly, and smiles.

J: "Mom..walk with me."
She smiles and they both walk through the door. Marks eyes gaze around until they meet Jacks. He's smiling, and there beside him, is his own mother.

They accept their marriage. This is amazing.

Jack wipes a tear away from his eye, and he finally reaches Mark.

Theirs the usual speaking, then the words of presenting the rings. Mark puts a ring on Jack, and Jack puts a ring on Mark.

They finally, the words, "Do you Mark take Sean to be your husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish, till death to you part?"

M: "I do."

"And do you Sean, take Mark to be your husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish, till death to you part?"

J: "I do."

"Then you may kiss the groom, and become wed!"

They kiss, and it's somehow the best kiss ever. There's cheering and clapping.

This has got to be the best day ever.
