The taxi arrived at the cafe Jack mentioned and the pair jumped out of the taxi laughing "And then I was like SHUT UP WADE And he was all like crying like a little baby" Jack held his sides laughing tears rolling down his cheeks "Oh my god Mark! You're killing me!" he wiped away a tear and pulled himself together "Now!" Jack clapped his hands together "what would you like? My treat" the irishman's eyes glistened I melted a little inside. "Well I'd love something savoury and sweet for desert" I winked at Jack whilst tousling my hair out of my eyes Jack smiled again and opened the door after me "After you Mark!" wow he was such a gentleman I could feel a small blush creeping up my neck I smiled and bowed my head as I pulled my suitcase behind me over to a nearby table next to the window. Jack got up to order our food I stared out of the window trying to figure out how to word what I was about to say to Jack moments later Jack returned with our drinks "So there's been a problem...they didnt have what you wanted so I got you a burger is that okay?" Jack set the tray down and looked at my face "Mark are you okay? You look worried about something" I must have had a furrowed brow when he came back I was so lost in thought about what to say it took me some time to figure out what he just told me I coughed slightly feeling my cheeks turn a little hot "Um yeah that's fine, listen about that text can we talk about it in private later? I don't want people hearing and getting the wrong impression" Jack smiled my heart skipped a beat. "Sure! I don't want to badger you right away just let it flow naturally once you've got your bearings" I felt a little calmer our food arrived and we tucked in talking about home, Chica, Bob, Wade, relationships and more. I was shocked to hear his girlfriend left him but inside I was happy what is happening to me? Why do I feel this way about Jack? He's my best friend he probably doesn't even like guys...
