26- Soft

Mitch was notorious for stealing Scott's clothes. If you saw him lounge around at home, he'd almost always be in Scott's shirt or hoodie and his own undies. Unless of course, Scott himself was home. It was Mitch's little secret, and maybe One or two of his closest friends knew.

When he was done using them, he'd toss them somewhere around the house, then get on Scott for leaving his clothes everywhere. It was kind of cruel in the long run, but it worked for now.

Scott never really questioned it. He noticed that some of his hoodies slowly went missing, he thought he was going crazy and maybe he was just constantly misplacing them. Mitch always seemed to find his hoodies somewhere around that house, which was odd to him seeing he he'd check around constantly to find anything misplaced. It didn't really matter to him, they eventually showed up again anyways.

He'd walked into their home and noticed how weirdly quiet it was. 'Babe, I'm home!' But he was met with silence. Scott assumed that Mitch was out and went down to his room. He was in the hallway when he heard faint music coming from Mitch's open room.

He peaked his head in to see Mitch dancing around with his head phone in, clad in his undies and...Scott's hoodie? He covered his mouth to hide his laugh, before crossing his arms and leaning on the door frame, watching the cute show in front of him.

Mitch continued dancing around, stopping mid spin when he saw Scott. He slowly pulled out his head phones, fully aware of of being caught red handed.

'I thought you were going out with Mark and Mason...' Mitch rubbed the back of his neck.

'Change of plans. That was quite a show I just watched.' Scott smiled slowly making his way over to Mitch.

'Yeah well... I didn't know you were home.'

Scott reached an arm out, punching a piece of the fabric of the hoodie and pulling Mitch closer. 'Is that why you're wearing my hoodie? Because I wasn't home?'

'No! It's just.. really soft..' Mitch looked down at their hands that were now intertwined.

'You have this same hoodie but in black.'

'I know. But...'

Scott lifted Mitch's chin so he had no choice to make eye contact with him. 'But what?'

Mitch sighed, knowing there was no way out of it. Scott always knew when he was lying anyways.

'But it smells like you... and you're always gone with the boys now so.. sort of feels like you're still here.'

Scott felt a pang of guilt in his stomach, not realizing that Mitch had been feeling this way. He wrapped his arms around Mitch and rested his chin on head. 'I'm sorry, you should've said something.'

'Didn't want to. It's good we have different friend groups.'

'But you're more important.'

Mitch shrugged and somehow managed to snuggle closer to Scott.

'Well I'm home now, how about a movie night? I'll grab more blankets and you can pick what we watch.'

Mitch nodded his head and started making his way out of the room when Scott spoke again, 'Who knew you were such a softie?'

Mitch turned around and gave him the finger. 'You tell anyone I'll kill you.'
