Chapter 7
~Dipper~
I rode the train for three days, living off whatever food and water I could find in the car. Eventually, the conducter found me and threw me off. Thankfully the train wasn't moving. I stood up and looked around, not sure where I was. I was at a town of some sort. I walked towards it and slipped inside.
No one noticed me. I glanced at the map on the wall. Colorado. I groaned softly to myself. How was I going to get to Oregon from here on foot?
I tried to jump on another train, but the conductor saw me and hit me pretty hard for doing so. I winced as my ear started ringing.
I gave up trying to jump on a train and wandered into town. I had to find something to eat.
Looking around, I found the town was a pretty big one, more of a small city. I walked around town, not sure what to do. I had to find a way to Gravity Falls. I had to.
I sighed, wishing I had at least some money on me. I spoted a bakery, smelling fresh bread. It made my mouth water. I slipped into the allyway and snuck into a trash can. There was a bunch of moldy bread and pastries in there. I wrinkled my nose and closed the can. Only if you're starving.
I wasn't used to being hungry. Maybe Ford wasn't the best guardian, but at least he fed me. I signed and started to walk out into the streets again.
I'm guessing someone around here will give a starving kid something to eat, I said to myself. I mean, the whole town can't be heartless.
I wandered up to the window of the bakery and looked inside. There were rows of bread and pastries that looked really good. You know, a voice in my head said. There's so many on display. I'm guessing the owners wouldn't mind if you just took one...
I shook the thought off. I tightened the cap on my head and forced myself to walk away from the captivating smells.
I found myself wandering back to the train station. I found a dollar under my bench. I snatched it up. I bought a train ticket to Colorado.

After another three or four days, I finally stumbled into the town of Gravity Falls. I was exausted and hungry. I dug the picture out of my pocket and went up to a paserby. "Excuse me," I said. "Have you seen this man?"
"Yeah," the man said. "He's 'Mr.Mystery' or better known as Stan Pines."
"Can you tell me where I can find him?"
"A place called the Mystery Shack, but I wouldn't waste my time in that place."
I thanked the man and found a map. The Mystery Shack was on the edge of town. Tired as I was, I took a deep breath and started towards the end of my long journey.
~Mabel~
I was sitting on the porch when I saw a boy stumbling down the street. Mermando was cleaning up the shop, so I was bored out of my mind. I had to do something. I stood up and walked over to the boy. "Sorry," I said. "But the Shack's closed right now. If you want to come back tomorrow..."
The words died on my lips when the boy looked up. He looked extreamly familiar, but I didn't know why. He looked exausted too. "I'm looking for...Stan Pines."
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Dipper," the boy said. "Dipper Pines." Then he collapsed.
I have writer's block! I'm sorry!
