Chapter 6
Okay, so I know that Stanley and Stanford are switched in this story, so I think I'm gonna go it so Dipper lives with Great Uncle Ford and Mabel with Grunkle Stan, or Stanley. So yeah, this does kinda mess up the beggining part however...actually, scrach the Great Uncle Ford thing. I'll just make it Grandpa Ford then.
Okay, thanks! Back to the story!!
~Dipper~
I was shoved into a gravestone and quickly turned to see Gideon taking out the book. His two bodyguards looked ready to pound me. I decided not to give them the chance. I slowly straightened while Gideon flipped frantically through the book.
"I found this page yeasterday and found that it would be perfect to you on you," he said with a grin that didn't reach his eyes.
"What, are you gonna make me sprout two heads? Grow another arm? Shrink me?"
"Oh, you'll see," Gideon said. He looked down at the book and started chantimg in another language. I back up, running into one of those stone statues of an angel. Everything suddenly went grey like the color was washed out of it except for Gideon and his bodyguards. I glanced down and found myself in color too. There was a yellow flash and a floating triangle with a single eye popped out of nowhere. "Well, well, what do we have here?" The triangle asked, although he lacked a mouth. His entire body lit up whenever he spoke.
The triangle was facing towards me. I pressed myself against the angel. What was this thing?
"Listen to me, demon!" Gideon said. The triangle turned towards him. The two older boys were cowering, but Gideon's face was hard as a rock. I felt it in my gut that something really bad was about to happen.
"That boy there's been giving me some trouble," Gideon said.
"Sure thing, Short Stack," the triangle said. "The name's Bill Cipher, by the way."
The triangle who's name was Bill, turned to me. "Well, if it isn't ol' Pine Tree? I knew I'd find you sooner or later."
"W-who...w-what are you?" I asked.
"I told you, my name's Bill Cipher. I'm a dream demon." And with that, everything went black.

I woke up in the middle of the cemetary, totally abandon. I looked around. The angel statue was smashed to peices. "What the heck?" I asked under my breath.
Gideon and his friends were gone and the journal was sitting at my feet. I picked it up. "Hello?" I called. No answer. I took my chances, stuffed the book in my vest pocket, and ran as hard as I could to the train station.
When I got there, I reached into my pocket to grab some money to get me at least to Tennesee, but there was nothing in there. I hit myself on the head. I'd brought everything, except money!
I took a deep breath, glanced around to make sure no one was watching, the hid in one of the cars that held industrial goods. I hid in the mists of all of it and took a deep breath. I couldn't believe I was actually doing this.
I wonder if this is a good idea?
The whistle of the train blew and I was off.
The feeling of the train moving made me suddenly tired. It was probably about one or two in the morning. I rested my head on a crate and let myself fall asleep.
~Mabel~
I smiled as Mermando strumed at his gutair. Grunkle Stan was glaring at him, but ne didn't seem no notice. I was glad for that. I didn't want Stan to scare my one chance at romance off.
He stopped strumming and looked up at me. "I'm not very good," he admited.
I shook my head. "No, no," I said. "It sounds amazing! I don't know anyone else who knows how to play an insturment."
Mermando smiled at me. His little mustash was adorable! I was smiling uncontrolably, but I didn't care.
"So," I said, trying to think of something to say. "What's Canada like?"
"I'm from Mexico."
"Oh, yeah!" I said, heat rising to my face. "That's what I meant."
Mermando shrugged. "I guess it's okay. It gets pretty hot, though."
"Here too," I said, trying to keep the conversation going.
Mermando nodded. "This is beautiful. I love the Pine Trees."
I nodded. "I guess you don't get those in Mexico." I was totally guessing. I didn't know the first thing about Mexico!
Mermando nodded, but I wasn't sure if he was saying yes or just trying to spare my feelings from getting something wrong about his home country.
I kicked my legs back and forth. "So...what other things do you like to do?"
Mermando shrugged. "I like swimming and pretty girls."
"Pretty girls aren't a thing to do," I pointed out.
Mermando smiled. "I guess not, but I do have to tell you something, Mabel. Even though we haven't known each other for that long...you're one of the nicest girls I ever met."
I smiled. "Oh, you're just saying that."
Mermado slipped his hand into mine. "I'm serious. I've never met another girl like you before."
My smile grew. Our faces started to inch forwards and I started to close my eyes and slightly pucker my lips when Grunkle Stan interupted us. "Well," he said too loud, putting himself between us and smiling, though I could tel it was forced. "Time to get to work. Mabel, you're in the Museum and Mermande, you can work the cash register. I gave Soos and Wendy the day off, so you kids get to work!"
I gave Mermando an apologetic look and walked off towards the museum part of the house, thinking about my almost first kiss.
~Author's Note~
So, I'm kinda struggling what to put in Mabel's pov, so the next one might be just Dipper's.
And, yes, if I hadn't mentioned before, MermandoxMabel is one of my Gravity Falls otps, right under SoosxMelody so I'm gonna have a few moments like this. I really like the idea of Stan not wanting Mabel in love, like a lot. I don't know why. He just seems so protective in that way.
Okay, I'll stop talking now.
Hope y'all liked the story, or whatever
Oh, and I started school again, so my updates will be evvenn slower!
