"So she just spilled chocolate milk all over you?" Ralf says in amazement. I nod my head.

"I mean I guess I should feel bad for calling her a skank but honestly, I don't. I guess I meant it. All they do is sleep around anyway." I say with a shrug of my shoulders. "I don't know why they won't just admit that they are sluts."

I hear Rosie die laughing. "Oh god Ev! You're just going off today! I love it." She shakes her head. "Ralf you should have seen what happened at lunch. It was so unexpected of Ev."

He laughs from the single chair and says, "Wish I could have seen it."

"Could have seen what?" A girl's voice says from the doorway of the game room. Tanya comes waltzing in and sits right on Ralf's lap.

"We are just talking about... uhh..." Ralf says and looks at me. I roll me eyes.

"We are talking about how I called Fiona a skank and how she dumped chocolate milk all over me." I say.

"Oh yeah, I heard about that. You know it wasn't very nice of you to call her a skank." I stand up from my chair.

"I was just being honest, and it wasn't very nice of her to dump chocolate milk all over me. But hey, you don't see me complaining."

Tanya eyes me up and down then smirks. "You know, I never knew you were like this Evelyn." She says.

"Me either." I say and walk toward the door. "See you guys tomorrow." I hear them mumble goodbyes as I exit.

Okay, next stop. Jason's room. He's probably playing Call of Duty or something, but I don't mind. Right now I just want to nap in the comfort of a warm bed.

I walk into his room without knocking on the door. He's on his bed playing video games like I thought. I crawl onto his bed and into the covers and sigh. I love how he has like six different blankets on his bed so it's nice and warm. I close my eyes and get ready to take my nap.

"So I heard you got milk dumped on you today." Great, I was starting to enjoy the silence.

"Yeah, Fiona dumped her chocolate milk all over me because I called her a skank. Her and the rest of the cheerleaders think they own you guys. For some reason it just really aggravated me and I freaked."

I hear him laugh. "Wow Ev, that's so not like you. I'm glad to know that you're starting to come out of your shell though."

I frown even though he can't see it. A shell? I never had a shell, I was always just slightly quiet. I wasn't completely shy or anything. "I never had a shell."

"Whatever you say buttercup. Whatever you say." I hear his video game go back into play mode and I know that our conversation is over. Good, I need to get some shut eye. I close my eyes and let the darkness take over.

I hear a knocking on the door. I stifle a yawn and try to stand up to get it. I notice I can't move. What's happening!

Then I feel the pressure of something holding me down. I try to lean up a little and I see an arm flopped across me. An arm? What!

I turn and see Jason sound asleep and cuddled next to me. Why didn't he wake me up! He always wakes me up before he goes to bed! I've never slept in Jason's room before! Never mind any guys room.

A knock sounds on the door again and I wiggle my way out from under his arm. Then I get out of his bed and go to the door. I open it slowly and peek to see who it is. I sigh in relief when I notice that it's Rosie. I open the door the rest of the way.

Her eyes go wide. "Ev." I hear shock in her voice.

"Uh, yup..." I say and rub my eyes sleepily.

She peers around me. "Did you sleep in here?" I look back and see that Jason is still passed out. So I place my index finger in front of my lips to show her to be quiet. Slowly I close the door behind me as I step out of the room.

"Sorry, and I mean I guess I did, Jason usually wakes me, I didn't think I would be sleeping in there!" I say in a loud whisper.

She shakes her head and rolls her eyes. "Sure sure. I can't believe you don't think you guys are a couple. You definitely are." I'm about to protest when she holds her hand up to stop me from speaking. "I don't want to hear it. Anyway if you don't hurry we are going to be late for school." School! Holy crap I forgot about school!

That's when I realize that Rosie is all dressed in her uniform and her hair and makeup are done perfectly. If Rosie is already done getting ready I must be really late... shit.

"Okay, I'll go change now!" I say as I start to run down the hall. "Wake Jason up!" I tell her last minute. I hear a huge sigh. Sucks to be her! Jason is the worst person to wake up, he's literally a hibernating bear.

After changing and rushing to the car without any breakfast, Rosie and I make it to school in enough time. As soon as we walk through the front door the warning bell rings. We say our goodbyes and then I'm off to Anatomy. Anatomy... I'm glad I get to see Tori and all, but Gavin... I don't want to see that jerk. If Gavin is such a jerk it makes me think Seth is going to be a complete jerk too!

I walk through the crowded hallway. As I take my first turn I hear a shout. I ignore it at first but then I hear the voice.

"Yo Evelyn wait up!" The voice seems vaguely familiar. I slow my steps and turn around. To my surprise I see Seth walking toward me at a quick speed. Great, the other one...

"Oh hey Seth." I say. Once he catches up to me he lets out a deep breath.

"Damn you walk fast." I smirk. That's true I do. I hate walking slow to places, it annoys me when I get stuck behind slow people in a crowded hallway...

"Yeah I do." I peer around him to see if his double is behind him. But Gavin is no where to be seen. "Where's Gavin?" I ask.

I hear a deep laugh and Seth says, "Well that hurts, I'm not good enough for you?" I frown.

"Not what I meant. You guys are always together, I was wondering why you aren't together right now."

"Sure sure." I shoot him another dirty look and he holds his hands up in surrender. "Okay fine, I believe you. But to answer your question, we weren't together because I slept in a little later than usual this morning. Tori was getting bitchy so Gavin just took her to school." He says with a shrug. "So here I am."

Makes sense. I mean if I was Tori I would get bitchy too. It sucks to get to school late because of someone else... that reminds me... I should probably apologize again to Rosie for almost making her late this morning.

Suddenly the bell rings and I look at Seth worriedly.

"Crap we're late!"

"Shit!" he says.

We sprint to anatomy and Seth opens the door. The whole class looks up at us and I blush. Seth looks cool though. How? This is freaking embarrassing!

He slides through the door and walks to the back of the room toward our seats. I quickly shut the door behind me and join him.

"Nice of you guys to join us." the teacher says. I blush even more. Crap I don't know what to say. I look at Seth desperately. He smirks at me, I hope that means he's got this.

"Sorry about that sir. Evelyn here started to get sick in the hallway so I brought her to the bathroom and waited for her in the hallway. She still feels a little sick but she's better now." Seth says to the teacher. Really? He had to use me as the excuse. I shoot him a dirty look.

"Oh. Okay, Evelyn you do look a little red, if you're feeling sick just tell me and I will allow you to go down to the nurse. Next time please come tell me about it." He says. I look at him apologetically.

"Will do, sorry about that." I say and put my stuff onto my desk. I sit down and turn to Seth. "Really!" I whisper shout. "Blame me for us being late?"

He flashes me a cheeky smile. "Well realistically it's your fault we are late." he whispers back.

"What! No way! You were the one who stopped me in the hall. I easily would have made it to class if you didn't stop to chat with me!"

"Well you asked the questions and I had to answer them!"

"Well you could have kept walking with me while you answered the question!"

"Could you please stop talking." Gavin says as he turns around to look at us. I frown at him.

"Could you stop being such a jerk." I snap back at him. He gives me a dirty look.

"I'll stop being a jerk when you stop acting like an annoying snob."

"Good one." I say sassily and roll my eyes.

"Okay well it looks like you two don't get along..." Seth says.

"You think." both Gavin and I say at the same time.

I lean back in my seat and let out a huff of air. God he just gets under my skin. Why is he suck a jerk! I just want to punch him.

"Okay class break into groups of two, we will be working on a small lab today to prepare you guys for the rest of the year." The teacher says.

Everyone in class stands up and starts breaking into groups. Okay, I will work with Tori. I turn and see Tori in a deep conversation with Gavin. Really? What could she possibly be talking to him about, he's a jerk.

"So Evelyn, want to be my partner?" A deep voice says from behind me.

I turn and laugh. "Sure Seth, as long as you don't blame me if you do anything wrong." He puts his hand to his heart and puts on a fake hurt face.

"Me do something wrong? Then blame it on you? No way. Would never happen." I laugh then push him lightly.

"Come on." We walk over to the table and look at the lab sheet. It's about DNA and their structure. Well this should be easy.
