"Holy crap." Rosie says to me. "You had your first shift?"

I just nod my head. I guess it's good that I got my wolf back at the age when kids have their first shift. Otherwise I would have to explain my weird situation to everyone in the pack.

She stares at me shocked. I laugh and lean back onto the couch casually. We are sitting in the movie room at the moment. I wanted to tell her about me shifting when we were alone. She decided I should tell her the 'big secret' while we watch a movie. So here we are, sitting on the couches with a bowl of popcorn. We haven't even turned the movie on yet, as soon as we sat down I had to spill my secret to her. I grab a handful of popcorn and slowly eat it, one by one.

"Could you stop staring at me girl! It's an exciting thing, and you're acting funny!" I shout.

"Sorry I'm just so happy for you Ev! Now we can go on adventures, and run around together!" she adds. Then she looks at me and smirks. "So who is he Evelyn?" I look at her shocked.

"What do you mean who is he?" She laughs and grabs a piece of popcorn.

"You have been happier than normal and I know it's not just the fact that you've shifted. You can't hide things from me Ev." She says. She pops the piece into her mouth and chews it. I sigh, man she can read me like a book.

"It's Gavin." She goes wide eyed then stops chewing.

"Gavin?" She shouts. I laugh.

"Yeah, turns out he's my mate." I say happily.

"That's crazy! You know, he is in the pack house right now... Why are you in here with me?" She shouts.

"Rosie! I haven't spent much time with you, I just wanted to hang out for a bit."

She rolls her eyes. "We can hangout on a double date tonight. But both you and I want to be with our mates right now so let's get out of here." She says happily. She stands up and skips toward the door. "See you later girl!" She exclaims with a wave.

I roll my eyes and stand up from the couch. Well that was short lived. She is right though, I want to be with Gavin right now. I wonder where he is?

After searching the house for a while and not finding him I go to the kitchen. I open up the fridge and grab a yogurt. Sitting down at the table, I start to eat it. After a few moments Kari comes into the kitchen, she sees me and smiles.

"Hey Evie." She says. She walks over to the table and sits down next to me.

"Hey Kari..." I answer sadly. She laughs.

"Sad because you can't find Gavin?" She asks.

"Yeah..." I say.

Hold on a second, when did I tell her that? I scroll through my memories and I know there wasn't a time when I mentioned him to her. "Wait Kari, how did you-"

She cuts me off, "Gavin told us." I blink twice. He did what? "Well, he didn't tell us exactly, I guessed. He asked for permission to stay here longer and I put the pieces together. I see the way you look at him. It's the same way I look at Bryce. He is your mate isn't he?" She asks. I nod.

"I can't believe you guessed." I say completely taken aback by Kari's detective skills.

"Yeah well you guys don't exactly hide it well. Anyway, Bryce and Gavin are almost done talking. They are in Bryce's office." I smile.

"Okay. I will go wait for him-"

Suddenly the doors to the kitchen slam open. This is soon followed by a loud and excited screech. Kari and I whip our heads around. A smile spreads across my face as I see who it is.

"Did you miss me ladies? Please, feel free to shower me with all your love and affection." The red headed girl wearing a large sun hat squeals as she places her luggage onto the floor.

"Mimi!" Kari and I shout simultaneously.

Her smile radiates the room as we sprint to her side, embracing her in the biggest hug. She smells like sun tan lotion and perfume. Wow, I haven't seen her in a long while!

"How was California?" Kari asks as we untangle ourselves from one another.

She smiles, "It was absolutely amazing. Although I didn't meet my mate at my Uncle's pack, I did make a bunch of new friends! Here I brought little Evie back a present."

She begins to go through her bag. I roll my eyes, she still treats me like an eight year old.

"What did you get me?" I ask curiously, peaking toward the bag. She laughs and pulls her hand out in fist form, hiding something

"Hold your hand out Evie."

I do as I'm told. She places something in my palm and I look down. Then I die laughing.

"A princess key chain? Really Mimi?" I ask while giggling.

"Of course! It matches your room, so I had to get it for you."

"Thanks Mimi." I say and pull her into a quick hug. Suddenly I feel her sniff the air.

She pushes me back, peering into my eyes, "You smell different."

My cheeks blaze red. Shit, maybe I'm starting to get Gavin's scent after all. I've had his mark for a while.

Kari cuts in, "A lot has happened since you left Mimi."

Mimi glances at my sister, "What do you mean?"

Kari smirks, "Well I will save the details for later, but to make a long story short, Evie had her first shift and found her mate."

Mimi's eyes widen in excitement as she turns to me, "No freaking way! Really?"

I nod and smile happily. The thought of Gavin just makes tingles and butterflies spread through my stomach and all over my body.

Kari places her hand on Mimi's shoulder, "Have you seen anyone else yet? I know Laine has been missing you."

"Nope, you guys were the first. How is Laine doing by the way?" She asks.

"Last time I checked she was doing great. Her and Dan are planning on having kids soon." Kari adds, making Mimi's eyes widen in excitement.

"More children! Speaking of which, where are your babies? I need to see them now! Let's go!" Mimi adds, excitedly jumping up and down.

Kari laugh, "Alright, Alright. Come on they are upstairs, I just put them to bed but I know they will be happy to meet you."

Mimi squeals as she picks up her suitcase, exiting the kitchen, "I'm so excited to squeeze their pudgy little faces!"

"Hey Kari," I interrupt, "I will go wait in Gavin's room. If you see him, do you mind telling him I am there?" I ask. She nods

"Of course I will."

I throw away my yogurt and march off to Gavin's room. I open up the door and quickly shut it behind me. I go straight to the bed and flop down. Snuggling into his pillows, I close my eyes. In-taking his beautiful comforting scent helps me relax.

Just then a familiar pain flashes in my head. I grab it and let out a light scream. After a while the pain slowly dwindles away and I open my eyes to a completely different scene.

I glance around and see something oddly familiar about the place. Then it hits me. It's the mansion in the Netherlands. Why would I be here right now?

I walk over the pathway and into the building. There I hear voices coming from inside the ball room, It's so loud and lively. Maybe there is another party? I walk through the huge open double doors and see people dressed in beautiful gowns and suits. There are some people dancing and laughing, others are seated at tables. It's weird that everyone is so happy. I guess I just assumed that things would suck here once I left. I walk up to one of the tables and look at a boy who I'm assuming is trying to flirt with a girl.

"So you're from the Mist pack?" he asks her. She giggles and nods.

"Yes sir." She says.

"Well I haven't been on your pack's grounds before but I hear they are beautiful." he says. She bats her eyelashes and nods.

"It's very beautiful. None the less, it's beautiful here too. I'm glad the packs have decided to join together." She says.

Wait. They joined together? I thought they needed someone to bring them together? Were they really just using me for no reason this whole time? Curiosity gets the best of me and I look around the room and see so many new faces that must be from the Mist pack. It must be true, they actually merged together. I don't know if I am pleased or upset. I look up onto the stage and notice something odd, two thrones. The kind that you would see in a fairy tale. Well that's new. Those weren't there when I was here. I walk up to the stage and notice two figures sitting on the thrones, a man and woman. The woman is holding a child in her arms. As I get closer my heart stops.

That's me. I am the one on the thrown. Next to me is Gavin. In my arms is a child. Judging by the clothes it's a boy. He's so cute and beautiful. Wait, is he mine? Gavin reaches his hand over and grabs my hand in his own. He whispers something in my ear and I smile and laugh. We look happy. Truly happy.

Then my surrounding begin to blur and I feel myself being pulled from the vision. Then suddenly, I'm back to reality and my eyes shoot open.

Gavin is staring at me, his eyes filled with worry. His hair is messily fallen onto his forehead and he looks adorable, but I'm not going to tell him that....

"Evelyn are you okay?" He asks quietly as if to not break me with his voice. He touches my cheek gently and I close my eyes. Tingles spark in my cheek.

"I am doing just fine." I say happily. I slowly open my eyes and look at him. "Gavin, I love you." I say.

He smiles and gives me a slow and gentle peck on the lips. My body erupts into massive amounts of tingles and I feel the need to kiss him deeper and more passionately. I sit up and crush my lips to his. He kisses me back intensely. I pull him onto the bed and straddle his waist. His hands slowly caress my back and make their way to the hem of my shirt. Before he takes it off he pauses, breaking the kiss.

"I talked to Bryce." He says. I sigh, damn I was having so much fun.

"How did that go?" I add.

He smirks, "Guess who is going to be a part of the pack?"

My jaw drops in surprise. No freaking way! Bryce agreed to not only let him stay but become a part of the pack too? Could this day possible get any better?

"Oh my god are you serious? You asked to be let into the pack and he agreed just like that?" I'm so excited I can barely sit still.

"Well not exactly, see I didn't actually ask to be part of the pack. I just asked to stay longer. Bryce and Kari put the pieces together that we are mates and also offered Seth and Ariana each a position in the pack. How could I turn that down?" He says and caresses my cheek with his hand.

I close my eyes and nuzzle into his manly grip. His scent flows around me and I feel my wolf purr in delight. This feeling of having a wolf in me is so new, but I love it. She feels just as connected to Gavin as I do. We are one and I have missed her. My thoughts are quickly scattered by the deep sound of my mates voice.

"I love you." he says.

My heart pumps loudly in my chest and I feel my wolf get giddy with excitement. My eyes shoot open and I stare deeply into Gavin's dark orbs. He smirks and I realize I can't hold back anymore, I don't know if it is me or my wolf, but the connection between Gavin and me is so strong right now. I smash my lips to his and let out a pleased moan. He takes this as the go ahead to flip me over onto my back.

He deepens the kiss and my fingers twitch to feel more of him. I reach down to the hem of his shirt and lift it up quickly, breaking the kiss for only a moment before we heatedly connect them again. I trace his hard abs and he moans into my mouth. I smirk as we kiss. My fingers trace closer and closer to his pants. I tease him for several minutes and he groans and breaks the kiss.

"You want to tease? Two can play at that game." He whispers. My heart thumps quickly in my chest.

Damn he is one sexy man.

He rips my shirt off of my body and bends down, kissing next to my mouth and trails a line all the way down my neck. He makes it to my mark and gently licks it. A throbbing sensation hits my groin area and the feeling of needing him grows stronger. He sucks on it and kisses it, I try my best to hold back my moans but the feeling grows too strong and I let out my soft pleasure sounds. He finally hits a good spot and I feel like I'm about to explode, he stops, leaving me stuck between complete bliss and nothingness. I let out heated pants and glare into his eyes. He smirks and kisses my nose.

"So not fair." I pout.

"You wanted to play the teasing game." he says with a shrug.

"I changed my mind..." I pout with my best puppy dog eyes.

He looks at me for a while then finally sighs in defeat, "Dammit, I can't resist those damn eyes of yours."

I giggle and pull his face closer to mine, "I know. Now finish what you started." I close the gap between our lips and he does exactly that.

After a while of this heated interaction, I grow tired and lay my head on his bare chest. I close my eyes and trace small circles over his abs. His hand runs through my hair in a soothing manor and I feel in complete bliss. My mind runs back to my earlier vision.

"Hey Gavin?"

"Yeah?"

"What gender do you want our first child to be?" I ask randomly.

He pauses for a moment, "I mean personally I would like a boy but either would be wonderful for me."

"Oh good." I smile and look at him.

"Why?" He gives me a strange look.

I giggle, tuck a stran of hair behind my ear. "Oh no reason."

I push myself up a bit and grab his cheeks between my hands. We lock our lips together, forming an unbreakable bond with a love that will last forever.

I am so sorry that it took me so long to write this last chapter(it has been hard to come up with a closure for this one.). I've been really busy lately and I started working on another book that I'm thinking about publishing soon (yes, it's another Werewolf novel ^_^ so keep an eye out!).
