"So where to chief?" Gavin asks from behind me. Hmm, well I need to figure out how I'm going to find Jason's room in the dark. I suppose I could just follow my instincts. I mean I've been to his room so many times that it shouldn't be that hard to find, right?

Wrong.

We have tried walking down and touching all the doors but I can't remember which one is Jason's... I've always remembered the number of his room but I haven't counted how many doors it took to get to his room. It's days like this when I get angry for not having a simple one, two, three numbering system. For some odd reason we number each room according to the number you are assigned when entering the pack. It's like a lunch number at school. The only reason I know my number is because it's my rooms number. There is no order or anything when it comes to the doors in the pack house.

"This is starting to get ridiculous..." Gavin says from behind me. I sigh.

"I know, I'm sorry. I just wish I knew this place better. I can't believe I can't find Jason's room in the dark." I hear a low laugh come from Gavin.

"It's fine Evelyn. Don't worry about it. Let's just try somewhere else." he says.

"Alright." I pull him away from the doors and journey down the hall. Next stop, Rosie's room.

Her room should be easy to find, hers is the fist door on the right on the second floor. I pull Gavin down the hall and to the stair case. I take the first few steps then a huge boom erupts through the house. I freeze and squeeze Gavin's hand. Oh this is so freaky...

"Evelyn?" He asks.

"Yes?" I manage to say.

"You know it's only a thunderstorm right? It can't hurt you." I let out a sigh and loosen my grip on his hand.

"I know... I don't know why, they just terrify me... Sorry lets keep going."

I pull him up the rest of the stairs and walk him to Rosie's door... At least I pray this is her door... This will be so awkward if it isn't her room...

I reach up and knock lightly. I hear a few stumbling feet and the sound of the door opening. I still can't see anything. "Hello?" I hear Rosie says.

"Rosie? It's Evelyn and Gavin. We didn't know where to find you, Tori, Seth or Jason." I hear someone in Rosie's room stumble around and hit something.

"Ow..." a girl's voice mutters. She quickly comes to the door. "Gavin?" she says. Oh it's Tori.

I hear him sigh. "Yes Tori?" He says.

"If the lights don't turn on soon we should probably just sleep in the car for the night. I don't want to get into an accident on the way home." she says.

"Oh you guys can stay here if you want. We have plenty of room." I say quickly. "I don't want you guys sleeping in a car all night."

"Really!" Tori shouts. "That would be fantastic, thank you so much Evelyn."

Just then a blue light flashes through the room but quickly dims. I squeeze onto Gavin's hand again. Then a loud boom sounds.

"Ahhhh!" Tori screams. I feel Gavin stumble back a little. "Gavin this is so scary." I hear Tori mumble from next to me. Tori must be holding onto Gavin. She's scared of thunderstorms too. I slowly let go of Gavin's hand. I don't want to prevent him from comforting her...

"Why don't you guys just come into my room and we can figure out a game plan... I don't know how to get to Jason's room in the pitch black like this..." Rosie says to us.

"Good idea." I place my hand against the wall and feel my way into Rosie's room. I walk toward the bed and then sit on it. I hear the door shut and I assume that the others are in here now too.

Tori and Gavin must be struggling because they don't know this room very well. I hear a small thud followed by Gavin's voice, "Shit."

"Oh yeah watch out for that chair." Tori says. I laugh.

"Tori you suck at guiding people." he says with a sigh.

"Well sorry, I figured you would know not to walk into the chair."

"I can't see anything Tori and I don't even know what this room looks like." he says frustratedly.

"Oh yeah..." They stumble over and sit on the floor near the bed.

I'm the only one on the bed. Rosie is on the floor to my right while Gavin and Tori are on my left.

"So, how are we going to find Seth and Jason?" Tori asks worriedly.

"Well I mean we can try to find Jason's room..." Rosie says.

"Nope not happening, I couldn't even do it." I say sadly.

Rosie sighs and says, "Well we could-" she's cut off by a knock on the door. I hear Rosie stand and make her way over. She quickly opens it. "Hello?" she asks.

"Oh thank The Lord. Rosie I thought we were going to be lost forever. I haven't seen Evelyn anywhere, is she here?" Jason says worriedly. Of course he was worried about me. He never thinks I can do anything on my own. I'm not a helpless little kid.

"Yeah she's in here. She's on the bed. Tori and Gavin are on the floor." she says.

"Awesome, we're coming in. Come on Seth." Jason says. I hear him stumble and hit something hard. "Ow! Who freaking put a chair right here."

I laugh. "Gavin did the same thing. Rosie you might want to move it until the lights turn back on." I say to her. She sighs.

"Fine. Excuse me Seth." she says. I hear the door shut as she stumbles over to her chair. I hear it slide then hit the wall. "It's done, now no more complaining about hitting stuff in my room. Feel before you walk please."

The bed dips to the the left of me and then a hand makes contact with my face. Another hand joins it and starts to feel to make sure it's actually a face.

"Evelyn?" Jason says. I sigh and bring my hand up to stop him from feeling it anymore.

"Yes Jason, that is my face you are touching." I hear a sigh.

"Okay good." He removes his hands from me. "So what are we going to do? You guys can't really leave unless you want to get into an accident."

"Yeah I told them they could stay here." I say.

"Oh. Okay then. So are we just going to crash in Rosie's room?" Jason says. Hmm... Wow I guess I never thought of that... Where are we going to stay?

"Well I mean I don't really want everyone crashing in my room..." Rosie says. "How about we just go to the movie room? Those couches are nice and comfortable."

"Good idea. Okay lets go, I'm exhausted." Jason says and yawns loudly. I hear everyone stand so I start to get up. Another blue light flashes through the room, it illuminates the room and I can see everything for a moment. Darkness quickly follows along with a loud bang of thunder. I close my eyes and grip the sheets below me.

I hear Tori let out a squeal and I picture her cuddling closer to Gavin... I shake the image out of my head. "Evelyn are you okay?" I feel a hand touch my shoulder and I relax my body a little.

"Yes I'm fine Jason. Just a little shaken." He moves his hand and slides it down my shoulder and arm and directly to my hand. He squeezes it gently.

Everyone is already making their way to the door so Jason pulls me along with him. I hear it squeak open. Rosie must be leading the way because I know Tori and them have no idea how to get to the theatre room. We make it to the stairs and I hear someone slip and fall.

"Ouch. No one told me we were at a staircase." Says Seth. I hear Rosie laugh.

"My bad, we are at a staircase guys!" she says with a peppy voice.

"Not going to help now..." I hear him mumble as he stands and continue to descend down the stairs.

We quickly follow Rosie's steps. eventually we make it to the Theatre room. Everyone finds a separate couch and lies down. Well it's been a long night... I close my eyes as cuddle into my couch.

It's dark. But I can see the moon in the sky. It lights up the woods. That's where I am, the woods. I look around me. I don't really recognize anything. I keep walking and eventually I see a group of people. Hmm, I wonder what this is about. I stay hidden behind a bunch of trees but make my way closer to the group.

I see a huge man, he looks oddly familiar but I'm not sure from where. He has a few bigger men next to him who appear to be acting like guards. There are four other people standing in front of him. One girl and three guys. The short girl takes a step forward and yells something at the man. He frowns and shakes his head disapprovingly at her. She turns around and points to one of the men she's with.

I let out a small gasp. That's not any girl, that's Tori. I look closer and see she is pointing at Gavin. Why the hell is she pointing at Gavin?

It looks like the big man doesn't believe what she is saying. So she huffs and tells Gavin something. He nods his head. Suddenly he's gone. Wait what? Where the hell did he go? Suddenly he pops back except he's not alone. He has his friend Trevor with him. He lets go of Trevor. He falls to the ground. My eyes go wide. What is he doing?

The big man leans down and grabs Trevor by his collar. He lifts him up and holds him above the ground. His feet dangle. I close my eyes. I don't want to watch this! Why did Gavin just give his friend to this man? I peek open my left eye. I see Trevor knocked out on the ground with blood dripping down his body. I see Carter take a step forward to retrieve Trevor but Seth stops him.

The big man looks at Tori sternly. She gives him an apologetic look. He yells one more thing and she nods her head in understanding. After that he turns and disappears with his men into the forest.

Carter jumps forward and picks Trevor up. He looks at Gavin with anger clear in his eyes. Gavin shouts something at him and Carter stands up and forcefully pushes Trevor into Gavin's arms. He then points in a direction and tells him to do something. Gavin slowly nods. The next thing I know Gavin is gone. A thin layer of smoke dissipates from where he was. Tori walks up to Carter and touches his arm gently. She shares some words with him but he just pushes her off. He turns and shifts into a giant gold wolf and sprints away from Tori and Seth.

I see Tori shake her head and then she walks up to Seth. He scoops her up into his arms then he sprints away at a crazy fast speed. Wait... what the hell?

Just then the image gets fuzzy and I suddenly jerk up. I look around me as see that I'm in the theatre room. Everyone is sound asleep and the lights are on.

What the hell was that? How did Gavin teleport and how did Seth manage to run that fast...? Something is going on and I need to get to the bottom of it.
