NATSU's POV

I watched as Lucy slept soundly. I stared at her closely, admiring her beautiful features. I haven't looked at her this close since I left.

"Sir, we have arrived." The butler informed.

I nodded telling the butler to leave.

Flashback
(Sleepover at Erza's after the Halloween Party First Book. Chapter 15: Truth or Dare )

I noticed that Lucy's warmth was gone, I looked around and found the curtains being blown by the night's cold breeze.

The sliding doors to the balcony were open. I knew Lucy was out there.

I stood by the doors peeking my head out a little. I watched as Lucy stood there perfectly with her head tilted upwards, she was looking at the stars. I had that weird feeling that she wasn't feeling alright, weird boyfriend senses I guess.

I walked up to her hugging her from behind. I felt her tears drop on my arm, as soon as she told me what happened between her and Sting, I then gave her advice.

"Now, now princess, you wouldn't want your pretty little face to bloat." I teased as I carried her back to Erza's room.

She blushed causing my stomach to flutter, and so I kissed her forehead.

I carried Lucy bridalstyle to my car and buckled her up in her seat.

but then I felt her twitch.

"W-where are we?" She said with a raspy voice as she rubbed her eyes.

"Paris, France." I grinned.

"Why here?" She asked, she seemed unimpressed.

"You'll see. I just want you to have fun, miss grumpy." I teased.

"I'm not grumpy!" She pouted

"Ever since you stepped on that plane, all you did was complain and nag. Now tell me who's not grumpy?" I stated as I parked outside my house.

"Humph" she pouted looking out the window.

"Why? Doesn't every girl love France?" I smirked.

"I do, I just can't imagine how happy you were here, while you left me in Japan." She sighed and left the car.

You have no idea. I sighed, leaving the car with a frown hammered to my face.

"Nice house. How long are we going to stay here?" She asked as she stared at my house.

"A week or two." I smiled.

"What?!" That long? Natsu I have a job." she crossed her arms over her chest, facing me with her brows crossed.

I opened the entrance and gestured at her, showing her way in.

"I took care of that, besides I want to make you happy." I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck.

"That's the last thing you can do to me Natsu." She says as she enters my house.

"Let's get you settled you in." I reply.

"How? You kidnapped me, remember?" She peirced a strong glare at me.

"I had Virgo pack your stuff remember? But if you want, we could go shopping." I suggested.

"No thanks, I just want to be alone today." She sighed.

I sighed and brought her to the guest room.

"Natsu." She called.

I turned around to see her.

"Yeah?" I smiled.

"Uhm, I, uh. Nevermind." She stuttered.

"Is something wrong Luce?" I stepped closer.

"No, it's nothing. Goodnight." She said nervously and shut the door.

"Goodnight." I whispered.

LUCY's POV

I laid down on my bed, feeling the soft velvet blankets thinking about how my life has been since that incident with Lissana.

"I would have been married to Natsu by now. If it weren't for my stupid sickness I would have stayed. Why did it have to be this way?" I whispered to myself.

Tears fall down my eyes while I stared at ceiling.

It feels like I want to be with him, but it hurts at the same time. I don't know when I'll forgive, I don't know how I'll get through this.

FLASHBACK

"I need you to promise me something." He whispered.

"What's that?" I asked

"No matter how fucked up I get, I need you to be with me." He smiled

"Of course I will." I kissed his cheek.

"Thanks Luce." He blushed

I tried, and I'm sorry. I thought to myself.

I close my eyes in hopes that I would sleep soundly tonight.

But I couldn't

I couldn't stop thinking.

What if I watch a boring movie? I think that would help.

I wiped my tears a way, pulled out a small blanket from the closet, placing it over my head with it like it was a hoodie.

I went out of the room and quietly stepped down the stairs.

"Luce?" It was Natsu, at the end of the stair case, giving me a questioning look.

"I uhm, I was planning to watch a movie. I c-can't sleep." I stuttered.

"Follow me." He smiled.

I sat on the couch while Natsu was searching for tapes.

"What kind of movie do you want to watch?" He asked as he purked his lips, looking at the piles of tapes on his coffee table.

"Surprise me." I replyed.

He automatically played a movie, turned off the lights and sat next to me.

I felt his warmth beside me.

I missed it, and I wanted it so bad.

I scootched closer to him and laid on his chest. He unexpectedly puts his arms around me making me look at his face.

His smirk slowly creeps in while I begin to smile uncontrollably.

I snuggled on to him and so did he, I then feel a small whisper through my ear.

"I still love you, and I'll always love you." He kisses my forehead.
