Shu and Valt stood by the shadow of the memory happening upon them. Recently, Okiko has been falling ill now and then each month. Right now, they're in the infirmary office to know about this issue.

The nurse sighed in relief seeing the results after patting and using an ultrasound around Okiko's abdomen.

"Good to know you're not pregnant. Otherwise, we would need to separate you two for a while." She informed. Okiko and Takeshi were fond of this, but the alpha did wonder something.

"If we get out and are older... Is it okay to ask if Okiko is fertile?"

"At this age, he is and will continue being fertile until he is 40 like women. Why? You don't want him to be??"

"That's not it! I-I... I just wonder cause I like the idea of having a family with him." Takeshi utter. Okiko blushed and nudged his arm, embarrassed and surprised to see that his partner was bold to say his childish thought. Yet again, he isn't the only one thinking that way.

"Well, it seems to me that you might be sick. We aren't sure of what it is, but for now, we might not hand you your medication for a week." She announced. Okiko nod.

"Also, why were you two nervous when I was doing the ultrasound? You boys don't do that, right?"

Takeshi and Okiko looked at each other, back at her, and looked the opposite ways with a shade of red on their faces.

"We don't! However, anything could happen, right?" Okiko answered immediately after turning his gaze away from his mate. The lady on the chair hummed and let them out.

"I'm surprised they don't do it. It's quite common and almost a normalized thing for teens their age to be parents. Glad to know they're focusing on their future." Shu grins. He seems to enjoy this drama and romance between the children. It's so sweet that it sickens him to death remembering middle school couples!

"Same here. However, it seems that the memory is close to an end." Valt glanced at the walls. They're glitching like a television losing signal. Shu pout and that's when an error occurred.

Somehow, they've been sent outside. Patients in the hospital were standing on the brown soil, doctors and nurses standing across them, and the two mates were standing behind the crowd. Afraid of the confusion in the group, Okiko couldn't help but feel uneasy that he tightened his shoulders close and put his hands on his ears. Takeshi could sniff his boyfriend's discomfort scent, so he put his arms around him protectively.

"What's going on?"

"The clouds are red and grey!" Shu noted.

A man wearing a black uniform stepped out of the hospital and behind him was a group of tall alpha men with masks covering their faces. Seeing them made Takeshi suspicious of their behavior and appearance. The vibe in this area is so overwhelming that Okiko had no choice but to let out a tear.

This isn't right at all!

"Finish our job." Called out the main doctor of the building. A loud wail and popping sound shocked the patients which made them start running in different directions. Takeshi took this opportunity to carry Okiko bridal style and dash their way to their hide-out.

As they went further into the forest, the popping sounds were distant, but growing closer.

"Hey, Okiko, stay here!" Takeshi ordered as he dropped down the short omega. Okiko panicked and held onto the teen's light blue shirt.

"Don't go! What if- what if they get you!!"

"Okiko, trust me on this before it's too late!" Takeshi shouts, cupping Okiko's cheeks. The omega let out a sob and kissed his alpha before parting ways.

However, a moment after his boyfriend left, two masked men found the boy.

A sudden glitch blocked Shu and Valt to continue watching Okiko's last moments. Before they could see the cause of death, Okiko's body was floating on the cave's water slowly turning red.

"Hm..." Valt groaned. Shu sat up and both males turned to Mikan and Uta who were staring at them.

"What did you two find?" Inquired the other alpha devil.

"Not much, but we did experience an error close to the end of the memory. Did something wrong happen in the ritual?" Inquired Valt. Mikan shook her head signaling no.

"It's not the ritual's fault. It's Okiko. It must be a memory he blocked out so he won't remember the event."

"Well, it worked in his favor. Also, we need to find his boyfriend. He parted ways after leaving Okiko here, so something must've happened to him." Shu informs. Mikan and Uta understood their explanation.

"When I was being tormented, I thought Takeshi made me stay because I was bait for him to leave alive. I was so stupid to believe his words!" Said Okiko as he still lay on the slippery soil. Valt disagreed with the statement Okiko spoke.

"What if Takeshi did mean to keep you safe? I mean, if you take it from my view as an alpha, he was thinking about a future with you." The angel corrected.

"Well, if he did I'm flattered, but it wasn't enough... It's been 27 years since I've seen him, I've almost forgotten exactly what happened when they forced us out of the building." Says the boy. Mikan helped Okiko get off the ground and sit on a rock close by.

"Let's search for your boyfriend. I'm sure he has to be somewhere around the forest... Or facility." Uta says. Mikan understood what he meant by the facility.

The monsters they ran away from— could they be controlled by Takeshi? If so, then they must get Okiko out of this area and most probably use him as bait.

"Shu, Valt, get in the facility with Okiko and make sure to throw this powder at the main obstacle that controls the ghouls. Uta and I will be right behind you." Mikan ordered. Shu nodded and dragged Valt by his hand as the bluenette held onto Okiko to let him follow the crew.

The forest was silent, so the group had to be cautious of their steps. Fortunately, they managed to return to the mental hospital safely. Okiko went ahead of them and scanned the halls.

Although it looked ruined with a sense of a creepy aura, Okiko was breathless. Many memories took him back.

"May I head to my room?" He inquired.

Mikan nodded, "Let's hope there's something there." Okiko leads the way to the third floor of the building. The room's door was slightly open, so Uta did the honors to open it.

Okiko and Valt took a quick peek inside, but before they could say what was inside, a black fog appeared and a red glowing eye startled the omegas to retreat with a scream.

Shu didn't hesitate to kick the door wide open to reveal the black smoky figure heading to the corner of the room, hissing at them. Valt and Shu tossed the powder Mikan had given them to get rid of the figure, but it didn't work.

Instead, the smoky creature was burned and more furious than before. He pushed the angel and devil outside of the room as Mikan and Uta were thrown out the window, leaving Okiko alone.

"Kid! Get out right now!!" Shouted the albino alpha from behind the door. Valt and Shu began to punch, kick, and push themselves onto the door, but it wouldn't budge a single inch.

The omega in the room put his back against the door and kept his teary eyes on the smoky frame looking down at him with those bloody eyes. The more he looked into the eyes of the figure, he would remember that scene before his death. It traumatized him to the point he had to break down and repeatedly say sorry. The teen could hardly breathe. (Even though he doesn't need oxygen to live.)

Witnessing how distressed Okiko was, now curled up in a ball having that breakdown, the smoky fog around the figure stopped getting intense, and reached his hand out to see the boy's face. Okiko didn't want to look at the being.

"I'm sorry."

Okiko's eyes widen. This voice— it's so familiar even if it sounded raspy. There was a sense of comfort and affection coming from them. The omega avert his gaze at the figure and cried again.

"Takeshi!" He cries. Takeshi grinned and let Okiko cry on his shoulder, giving his omega a warm brace doing so.

Okiko sniffed, "You're such an idiot! Don't ever leave me again!!" He says before letting go of the alpha. Takeshi sweatdrop.

"I won't. But I'm still apologizing for it." He says. Before the two could say more to each other, Shu and Valt busted in and were surprised to see the two youngsters already communicating through the situations before.

"Guess you two are birds of a feather for sure." Shu chuckles. Okiko and Takeshi blushed and awkwardly helped each other to stand up.

"Well, communication is key to any relationship. However, let's hope that that other partner understands you." Takeshi advise. Shu surely took note of that. Valt rushed to Okiko.

"Nothing happened to you, right? We heard you cry a little too hard outside!" Valt says worriedly. Takeshi bit his lip and Okiko nervously laughed it off.

"It's nothing. Just some terrible memories I blocked out." He confessed. Mikan and Uta made it to where the rest of them were.

"I'm sure Takeshi is one responsible. Not the mention his aura." She declared. Valt and Shu glanced at her confused.

"What do you mean he's responsible?"

"Looking at him for too long will cause someone to remember a terrible memory. In this case, Okiko's process to death." She answered, "Takeshi, are you willing to get rid of that hallucination?"

The boy nodded instantly, "I don't want Okiko to fear staring at me."

Mikan hummed and gave the teen a pot filled with soil. He looked at her confused but accepted to get transported in the pot.

Uta inquired, "Why a pot with dirt?"

"He's not the dirt, he's in a flower seed." She corrected. Okiko looked at the maroon pot with a puzzled look.

Mikan gifted it to him, "Raise the flower with good care. Once it blooms, Takeshi will be free and both of you will rest in peace in the cave or the facility." She smiles.

Okiko giggled and looked at the pot in awe.

"What flower seed is it?" Shu asked. Mikan shrugged and left the room.

"It's a surprise for Okiko. Only he will know." She giggles. Valt scanned Mikan's back and then her front.

The lavender-haired omega was confused about the angel's action.

"Valt, what are you looking for?" She questions. His face was pale.

"Where's Tsumiki?"

Shu, Valt, and Uta:

You had one damn job

Anyways, I'm back for now, but I doubt I'll update another chapter here or on the other stories for school reasons. Let me remind you of milestones-
