"THAT'S MY BROTHER!" I heard Julia scream. She pushed past me and ran up to the Iris Message, Bianca following close behind.

"Bianca," I hissed. She stopped running and was staring in horror at the image before us. When she turned to look at me, her eyes were filled with shock. "They took Jay." She whispered

I nodded. Jay was my cousin too, after all. It was just as scary for me as it was for Bianca.

The image dissolved into mist. The noise level seemed to get louder by the second, and of course, Bianca and I were contributing to it.

Chiron's voice rang out loud and clear among the chaos. "Does anybody know how this happened?" He asked, scanning us. There was a general murmur of no's.

Chiron paced anxiously. "He must have been attacked..." He paused and gazed around at all of us. "Here. He must have been attacked here."

Okay, that was freaking terrifying. There was no way Jay got attacked in the dining pavilion. There were too many of us, and it just didn't make any sense that a monster could sneak through and pluck him up and take him away.

Most people, including Bianca and I, we're shooting one another disbelieving glances.

Apparently, Chiron caught this, because he stamped his foot angrily. "Does anybody else have a better idea?" He demanded. Everyone was silent. "That's what I thought." He snorted, resuming his pacing.

"How is this even possible?" Bianca whispered to me. I shook my head, not sure how to answer her question. It stumped me just as much as it stumped her.

"Go back to your cabins, and make sure you walk with someone." Chiron told us.

I fingered my dagger in my pocket and walked over to Andrew. His big, golden eyes were fearful. I gave him a brief hug and ruffled his hair. "Ready to go?" I asked him. Andrew sighed. "Yeah. I'm ready."

That night I had a dream. A really creepy dream.

I was standing in the middle of a forest. It definitely wasn't the forest at Camp Half-Blood. The trees were huge, and the trunks were a light orange-red. I looked down at my feet and gasped. The ground was dark red, stained with blood and glistening in the moonlight that filtered through the canopy of leaves above me. Dust rose around my feet as I turned in a circle.

Suddeny, I noticed a figure stadding before me. He was blonde with blue eyes and blonde hair. His eyebrows were black.

"Asha..." The figure whispered. I backed away, my feet making an odd noise in the bloody grass. "I've been waiting a long time to meet you, child." He continued.

A shiver went up my spine. "Who are you?" I asked.

"My name is Arc." The man replied, his eyes glittering with strange satisfaction.

I widened my eyes. Arc? No way. My mother had killed this guy.

"I know what you're thinking, child. I am nothing but a dream...but the blood that stains the ground will always be here, unlike me."

I looked down at my feet once more. "Why?"

"Well, child, it's your mother's blood. She was a powerful demigod. Very powerful indeed. And then, there's the dust floating around us...that's my former self."

I screwed up my face in disgust. "That is...wow that's just...I don't even have a word to describe that."

A smile flickered across Arc's face. "Of course not, child."
"Will you stop calling me child?"
"If you insist...child."

I scowled. "What do you want from me?"

Arc's face darkened. "I decided to warn you." He said. I furrowed my eyebrows. "About what?"

"The blood that stains the ground will soon be yours. Beware the room of one hundred doors. Poison and darkness combined together. One on one, now or never." Arc spoke like he was reading from a book. It was a little unnerving.

I shook my head, not sure I understood. "What? Is that...was that a prophecy?"

Arc smiled sadly. "Good luck, child. Mind the danger when you are separated."

I woke with a start the next morning. Andrew was already awake, and he was staring right at me. "Why were you yelling?" He asked me.

I winced. I wasn't typically a sleep talker, or yeller, but apparently that hadn't mattered last night.

"Just a bad dream." I replied, doing my best to keep my voice steady. Andrew looked me right in the eye, and I could easily tell that he wasn't buying my answer.

"Please, Asha, tell me." He begged. "I think I can help you."

I shook my head. "I'm sorry, Andrew, but these are big kid problems." I muttered, getting dressed as quickly as I could.

"Big kid problems?" Andrew scoffed, his voice angry. I had never heard him get angry before. He was usually very innocent and quiet.

Taken aback, I decided not to reply, which only made Andrew angrier. "I'm not four, Asha!" He snapped. "I'm ten! I'm not that much younger than you, and it's not fair that you're treating me like this!"

His voice rose with every word. I stared at him for a moment, confused. "It doesn't matter." I assured him, picking up my brush and running it anxiously through my hair.

"ASHA!" Andrew screamed. I jumped and dropped my brush. "I'M THE ONE WHO TOLD YOU THAT THINGS WERE GOING TO CHANGE! I UNDERSTAND MORE THAN I LET ON!"

I had never heard Andrew yell. Never. This was scary. Was the whole world flipping over, or something? Were we going to stop orbiting the sun? WAS THE WHOLE FLIPPING UNIVERSE GOING TO EXPLODE!?

Yes, I am overreacting. I don't care. I like acting, and over just means more. I'm acting more. I'm an actress. When I'm on the big screen one day, I'm going to laugh at whoever said I was a drama queen. TAKE THAT!

Okay, I'm getting carried away. I'll stop now and continue with the story.

I sighed and stared at Andrew. "If you're so desperate to know, I guess I can tell you." I said. "But you have to promise me one thing."

"What?" Andrew asked, calming down.

"Don't day a word to anyone, Andrew. No one can know about this."
"Why?"

I sighed again. "Because, I don't think it was supposed to happen in the first place."
