-  The blurb for this story came to me before the entire story itself. I'd written the blurb about seven years ago and thought about offering it to someone as a story idea. No one seemed to want it, so I decided to write it myself a few years back. I still kept the original blurb that inspired the story.

- This was meant to be a one-off novella but there's a second book now.

- I wrote it short and at this pace with intention, though that was probably a bad idea.

- Out of my books, this one's the least popular despite it being one of my favorites. As such, it's usually hidden at the bottom of the pile. Ha.

- I decided to make it short (and keep it short) because the why's of this word are inconsequential. My intention was to turn the readers into visitors rather than inhabitants, especially considering the darkness hinted beneath the surface.

- The second book SENTINEL 555: WAR was something I'd thought about for some time but ultimately gave up on. Even when I started writing it, finally, and received some good responses, I wrote it with trepidation and fear it would be as poorly received as this one.

- SENTINEL 555: WAR, despite sharing the same name, is written more like my other novels, going into greater detail. The cast is much younger but it was a direct response to those who insisted on more info in the first.

- Daniel's character turned out differently than I'd envisioned but I'm happy with it.

- I wrote two endings for this story. The alternative one, though coming second, was the one I'd posted. A friend of mine gave her heavy opinion about it and I decided to go back to the original (the one posted NOW).

- Names are very important in this story. Had you noticed?

- I'm in love with the name 'Gus' even though nobody else is. Hahaha. He's the second character with that name in my stories. The first is Gustav in "We Can Go Back" (Gus-Gus).

- I had the blurb and the cover long before I'd even had the story.
