Jacob Black has always believed that imprinting was a curse forced upon him. So, when Alice Cullen mentioned that she had a vision of him meeting The One, he freaks out. He isn't ready to meet anyone, let alone a mysterious dirty blonde at a bonfire.

Almost everything about Fawn Dubois is a lie. She sees the world through bright eyes, and through ears that sound like she is trapped underwater. She's on the run, and if she believed in God, she would pray that the people who raised her never find her.

Then, at a bonfire, she spots a blind boy with a nervous disposition, and she decides to make a new friend. However, Jacob Black is more than what she bargained for.

1. I am going to be donating to the Quileute tribe's Move to Higher Ground campaign because I feel that Stephanie Meyer did them a disservice. Their culture and beliefs were used for profit, without them ever seeing a penny. I feel this is only fair. I recommend donating as well if you can. It will really help the Quileute people. 

2. This takes place two years after Twilight, just so everyone knows.

3. Also, this is loosely following a combo of the books and the movies. Obviously, Jacob didn't imprint on Renegade (or whatever her name is) in this, and I've aged up Claire as well. Also, I'm not sure if it's canon, but Jacob and Sam's packs still haven't reunified in my version.
