Think I knew what

I was much too

What love was.

I was only fourteen,

It was a lie. I

Didn't love him. I

Was only infatuated

With the idea of

Him.

I didn't realize that

At the time, and

Only dug myself deeper

Into the hole.

I thought I was in

Love.

Little did I know how

I could never be.
