When I awoke I saw Oliver standing over me. I looked up at him surprised. He didn't speak but whisked me away. "Where are you taking me?" He didn't answer, and I followed him to an empty room. "Okay, why am I here?" Oliver didn't answer, instead he looked around the empty room.

"He's here!" He called out and a few people jumped out of nowhere.

"Happy Birthday!" They screamed and I blushed. Alder and Saphira walked over to me. I had forgotten that I was a year older than the year I was in.

"Congratulations Sully," said Alder said. He took my hand and kissed me. I looked around. Saphira, Alder, Oliver, Benny and Savanna, a Hufflepuff, were here.

"This was Alder's idea," said Oliver. "Figured you'd need a time to relax after the Juan-drama. Who isn't back yet," he added quickly. I looked at Alder.

"Is it true?"

"Of course it is!" He replied. "You're still taller than me though." I smiled. Alder smiled back. Savanna walked up.

"Hey, Sul!" She said. I looked at her. Though my crush on her died a long time ago, she was still pretty.

"Hey Sav!" I'd told Alder about her already. It had been a fleeting attraction though. She smiled. She was one of the reasons I knew I was bi. I'd had a crush on her before I even met Alder formally. I think you can guess what happened next. Alder, who I still called Cute-Accent Boy at the time, became a more prominent thought and she just sorta faded, romantically. I think the reason I became attracted to Alder in the first place was his bravery in coming out. That couldn't be easy, especially when you had no clue how people would react. And of course, his cute little Irish accent. And I think that's why my crush on him lasted longer even though I didn't even know I had feelings for him in the first place. But I'm rambling, let's continue.

"How's your family?" She asked innocently. I hesitated. Alder was the only one who knew they were divorced.

"They're.... fine," I eventually let out. No way was I gonna tell her about the divorce. I didn't know her that well. Alder gave me a look. He understood. He had too, a secret he didn't tell many people. Though, his was much worse.

"That's good! Now are we gonna party or what?" She said looking at the others.

"Yeah, let's." I led the party onward and Alder walked up to me.

"All four houses at a party? Even Slytherin and Gryffindor? This is what purity is. All houses getting along." I immediately knew who he was referring to. Juan would not approve of this.

"I thought this was an escape from thoughts of Juan?" I asked. Alder looked at me.

"Yes, but Juan is still in the mental ward, I heard that they still haven't found the source."

"I guess your right." I tried to enjoy myself. I danced with Alder, though I thought I had two left feet. He laughed and I laughed. After a while he stopped and stared at me.

"Happy Birthday to you, you live in a zoo, you look like a monkey and you smell like one too!" The voice that sang the little birthday song was angelic, at least in my opinion. The angelic voice had a cute little accent to go with it as well.

"That was amazing!" I said basically shouting happily. Alder smiled and blushed.

"T-thanks," He stammered.

"Even though it was just a birthday song," I added.

"I could try singing something different?"

"Oh please do, I want to hear it."

"You are my fire, the one desire, believe when I say, I want it that way..." he continued singing and I just continued smiling. Alder was perfect. And, to be honest, I kinda hoped Juan wouldn't come back.
