Okay thank you guys so much for enjoying Chapter 22, and the votes are all in so we'll have Asuka and Katsuragi in Hebijo while Ikaruga, Yagyu and Hibari go meet up towards Lucian. Hooboy one more chapter and Season 1 is all over. Season 2 will be all original from that point so with that being said let's dive straight in.

Kiriya's POV

Something didn't sit right with me, somehow it felt like the timing was almost too perfect. Hibari being taken by Hebijo, and then Yagyu trying to save her only for Lucian to manifest part of the yoma seal's power. Then...there's him encountering someone in his room that gave him the map to Hebijo. The more I think about it the more it feels like everything was perfectly set in place. I went to Hanzo's office in a hurry.

Kiriya: Master Hanzo, there's something urgent I need to discuss with you.

Hanzo:  Very well then. Go ahead.

Kiriya: This whole thing about sending the team to Hebijo it feels perfectly timed. Plus I'm starting to think that this whole thing has a deeper meaning to it. I think it's best if we go after them.

Hanzo: Perhaps, however I do think it's best to let them handle it. They'll come back alive and return here safely.

Kiriya:...All right.

Hanzo: Hm?

Daidouji: Hanzo we got a problem! Look at this!

Daidouji took out the sealing scroll that was used on Lucian and it was engulfed in a dark aura.

Hanzo & Kiriya: !

The negative energy radiating off of it was tremendous. Daidouji then dropped the scroll causing it to burn until nothing was left.

Hanzo: Let's go to Hebijo!

Kiriya: Right!

As we went outside Daidouji stood still for a moment.

Daidouji: The air feels heavy with evil, we have to hurry up!

Kiriya: Right

Hanzo: All right let me just get a good sense of my granddaughter's chakra...found it! Let's go!

Kiriya: Right!

We all rushed towards Hebijo Academy in hopes of making it there as fast as possible.

Hibari's POV

I made my decision I placed Yagyu's arm over my shoulder and carried her out.

Yagyu: What're you doing?

Hibari: Getting you out of here that's what I'm doing!

Yagyu: But

Hibari: No buts! Let's go!

I carried Yagyu with me outside the school and met up with Ikaruga. 

Hibari: Ikaruga what're you doing here?

Ikaruga: Trying to find Lucian but I can't find him and there's so many yomas running about. I'm starting to get worried.

KHBBS OST: Black Powder

I saw multiple yomas attacking one another using either techniques, fangs, or claws against one another all that was consistent was the bloodbath after every hit. We searched frantically hoping to find him until we heard a crash coming from our left and saw one of the yomas slammed onto the wall. It quickly rose up and howled viciously as it went to charge at the yomas again. More yomas jumped in at the chance trying to attack each other. It was nothing but absolute slaughter.

Ikaruga: What is even going on?

Hibari:...I'm not sure myself...but all I do know is Lucian is nowhere to be seen.

As we went into different areas looking for him we didn't see any trace of him and regrouped back together.

Ikaruga: Any sign of him?

Hibari: No, there's no sign of him it's only yoma.

Yagyu: I highly doubt he's within Hebijo Academy otherwise Asuka, Katsuragi and Lucian would've been out by now. 

Ikaurga: Yes they would but...

Yagyu: Ikaruga is something wrong?

Ikaruga. I..it's just I don't want to believe but I think I may know where he is.

Hibari: Really? Where?!

I saw her shakingly pointing to where the yoma were attacking one another.

I could only widen my eyes at the prospect of Lucian being a yoma and is now either being killed or killing others in his yoma form.

Yagyu: P-please tell me you're joking right?

Ikaruga: I don't want to take that gamble but it's the only possible solution. Since we haven't seen a trace of him...(not to mention that I nightmare I had might've foreshadowed it.

Hibari: I'll go.

Yagyu: What?

Hibari: I said I'll go don't worry I'll bring him back.

Ikaruga: No you can't! It's too dangerous!

Hibari: I know but...I'm a shinobi it's what I signed up for right?

I handed Yagyu over to Ikaruga and jumped down and ran towards to where the yoma were all of them were attacking one another I saw one of them fending off the others as it tore off it's arm with its fangs and began to slash away at the others. It was then I saw a familiar looking seal.

Hibari: (Found him! Now to make contact.) 

As soon as I got near he looked at me and snarled as he tried to back away from me.

Hibari: (So he's aware of what I'm going to do.) In that case...

I performed my summoning and used Ninto's cloud to take me directly to Lucian where he tried to jump away however I managed to touch his left arm. From there a red mist began to form around him as he was soon engulfed in it. I could hear animalistic roars and howls as he was eneveloped. 

Hibari: (Is he being purified?)

Meanwhile Lucian's POV

Lucian: (Falling, falling, falling or am I just floating in one spot with a feeling of falling? All I could feel was nothing but I feel like there is something holding me...how strange...My body I can feel it yet I can't, all my senses are there but aren't...just what exactly is going on?)

I opened my eyes to find nothing, not even my body was made visible I moved around my arms to at least try to feel something and I could feel my arms are still there just not visible. In some instances I feel as if I don't have any limbs. Now that I think on things like my senses and the remainders of my body I just realized where am I?

Lucian: (This place has nothing here except well me...or parts of me am I alive? Or am I dead? I feel like I should be doing something important right now. But I can't remember at the moment on what I should be doing as of this point. Perhaps it might be best if I was to wander back into sleep.

As soon as I close my eyes I can feel myself being broken up into pieces but this sensation it feels like I've been through this before, when? how? why? I don't know but this feeling of my soul being fractured isn't rare occurrence I feel as if it has happened to me multiple times. What does it all mean for me? Will this be it for me? Or is it just something that will constantly be a thing?

I felt my back land on something softly as if I was just laid there. I opened my eyes once again and stood up. It was the same village that I wandered into from my dreams usually they would have some sort of pieces of information that is relevant or not, but in all honesty this place feels more like home if anything. I stood up and began to walk towards the village. I saw everything as how it was before all the people there and other shops were around as I walked around nothing significant happened. That was when I heard a childlike voice.

???: Hey! You!

I turned around only to realize that this was a dream they couldn't interact with me. I turned back only to feel a small tug at my hand.

Lucian: !

???: Hey why'd ya ignore me!

Lucian: You can...see me?

???: Well duh it's not as if you're a ghost.

Lucian: (I see looks like I now have a solid body. If this kid's able to grab onto me.) Um...hello there. What do you need?

???: I need you to wake up.

Lucian: What?

It was then I saw the kid's face that I realized that kid is the younger brother to the shinobi of light.

Lucian: Wait you're the kid who got your eyes stabbed out by your older sister.

???: Yeah, but it wasn't really her what you saw was a fake. Compared to what I think I saw, my older sister would never do something that cruel. Anyways you're in grave danger the longer you stay here, the higher is the risk of losing yourself entirely. I need you to focus and listen carefully my sister will be here soon to assist you when that happens I'll share a piece of my power with you but be forewarned, when this happens you'll feel an overwhelming amount of spiritual pain one that may just destroy you entirely but if you can accept it entirely then you would have some control over the seal placed on you. After all I was the first experiment.

The moment the kid said seal all of my recent memories from Hanzo Academy came back in an instant.

Lucian: Oh man I can't believe I forgot about the girls! They're all in danger!

That was when the last sentence he spoke sparked curiosity within me.

Lucian: Wait so you mean to tell me you were the first person to have the yoma seal placed on them?

???: Yes...and if things go on the way they are you'll be lost remain here forever. My sister should be here soon. When that happens you need to accept her proposal otherwise you'll never wake up!

Lucian: All right I will.

???: Good also before I forget don't let the other part of your world end up becoming like this hell.

All around me I saw the sky grow dark, the village began to degrade itself into a broken down village of carnage and bloodshed. The people turned into yomas all viciously attacking one another it was nothing but mindless slaughter. I looked around in horror as to how a village that looked peaceful turned into a literal nightmare. From adults to children there was nothing about them that could be called human anymore. They were just monsters that eats anyone or anything that moved. I then turned back towards the boy and his body became that of a lifeless corpse his eyes now gouged out dripping with blood. Over in the distance I heard an otherworldly roar, something that is not within the possibility of mankind. It was then I looked towards what appeared to be the moon but it was bright red like crimson blood.

Lucian: (I've gotta wake up but how? The kid's dead, and now I have a physical body not to mention I got nothing to defend myself with.)

I heard roars and turned back only to find yomas staring at me hungrily as their fangs dripped with blood and began to charge straight toward me. I quickly jumped backwards and began to run away from this village. More and more yomas began to run towards me as I quickly made my way out of there. I then performed handsigns in order to use one of my techniques only to realize after using it, is that I couldn't. I was just a regular human being with no techniques to be used. So I kept running, running, and running away from the village and back to where the hills were at.

Lucian: Haah...haah...No more rrgh where is that sister of his? She should be here soon. Right?

I saw that there was no point in outrunning them anymore, best option right now would be to hide. I looked around and saw that it was just an open field. With no place to hide, I knew for certain I was screwed. It was then I felt a small pulse on the right side of my chest, I ran ahead to give myself some distance and quickly looked down and saw that the yoma seal was giving a faint pulse as if it was like another heart beating.

Lucian: What in the?

It was then that the pulse I felt from my chest now coursed through my body. I felt myself getting stronger by the moment, I felt like a new sense of strength is now accessible. I looked behind and saw that the yoma were still pursuing me, I stood my ground and stared at them, I could feel my rage surging as I charged at them punching one of them in the face. As one of them got closer with their claws I grabbed it arm and flipped it over me. After it fell to the ground I placed my foot on its body and began to rip out it's arm. It screamed in pain as I successfully removed it and then used that arm for its claws which would greatly add more damage. I used the arm the to pierce the other yomas with its claws extended. A memory then played itself. It was of both of the light and darkness siblings both were running away from the horde of yomas chasing after them. I could feel the anxiety weighing in on them both as they quickly ran away. The oldest sister using light ninjutsu to destroy them but their numbers were overwhelming in which they were then surrounded them. She then looks to her brother with tears falling from her eyes embraces her younger sibling and from there a bright flash appeared. I covered my eyes and I could feel every negative aspect. Pain, anxiety, fear, grief, rage, and despair however one emotion stood out from the negative traits and it was a familial sense of love. I could feel the strong connection of those two for that moment.

Fate Grand Order: Cosmos In The Lostbelt OST: Oath To Humanity

???: Are you ready?

Lucian: Huh?

I uncovered my eyes and saw his sister standing before me.

???: Wielder of both ancient powers are you ready to awaken?

With a firm response I answered.

Lucian:..Yes...I'll make sure to win!

With a gentle smile, she gestured forward but she also said something which caught my attention.

???: Be aware that every use of that seal shatters your morality and sanity until nothing's left. I pray that you don't have to use it ever again after this, because not even I could help reverse all the damages. From here on do note the regeneration power of light that you always had will be drastically reduced for every time you use the yoma seal. So if in dire need think carefully in your situation.

I closed my eyes thinking back on my theory of the yoma seal and now with my theory confirmed of the yoma seal and it's over usage. 

Lucian:...I will.
