Well here we are a new chapter and from the majority of the votes Option A won. Good because I'm going to need him like that for awhile. Anyways major shoutout to Marios-Friend9 for making this amazing song. I cannot wait for the next part of Mario The Music Box Arc, so it's time to begin the story. Hikaraya's POV

After the headmaster told us that she would be going on this mission alone. I decided to talk to the rest of my team.

Hikaraya: So this is it.

Ghori: Yeah yo, gaining a new power is gonna be sweet!

Merola: Yeah although...from what the headmaster said it was going to be really painful.

Airi: We have no choice but to pull on through.

She gave us each different seals, after that the pain shot through intensly.

Hikaraya: ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

Ghori: AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Merola: AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!! This pain it's unreal!

After the pain subsided we were laid to rest. After a couple of hours we all woke up but Airi was asleep. It was then the headmaster walked in.

Sylvia: How are you all feeling?

Hikaraya: Fine somewhat. Although my body is still adjusting to the seal.

Sylvia: Okay then that's the result I anticipated. For this week rest up, by next week your bodies will be fully accustomed to it, tell Airi that when she wakes up.

Merola: So did he meet your expectations?

Sylvia: Meet is an understatement, I would say exceeded all of my expectations. He truly is something.

Hikaraya: The other shinobi what happened to them?

Sylvia: They were all murdered brutally without any sign of mercy. He is worthy of receiving the seal, and as such I gave it to him although I must say his darkness runs more rampant than his father's it borders onto sanity and insanity.

Merola: Woah.

Ghori: Best not get in his bad side then.

Hikaraya: Agreed. Although why not just take him with you he would've been brought here making our job easier.

Sylvia: I could do that, but that would hinder us as well.

Ghori: How so yo?

Sylvia: For one thing he must be willing to do this if not then we end up destroying our plan. The host that embodies both light and darkness as well as carry the seal must be willing to end up becoming the vessel for the door and from there the demon on the other side will accept the vessel and bring ruin to all.

Ghori: Uh...that sounds swell and all but wouldn't it destroy us too?

Sylvia: Ah but remember the demon will accept the vessel meaning that those two will merge into one making the vessel the dominant one since he embodies both light and dark.

Merola: Amazing.

Hikaraya: Incredible

Ghori: (Frightening to be honest.) So we just rest for the seal to take effect.

Sylvia: Affirmative not only that it is also a good tracker to know where most of you are at. So you'll be able to know where each of you are at, at all times.

Ghori: Cool.

Sylvia: Well I've talked long enough tell Airi what I said and enjoy your vacation.

Merola, Ghori, & Hikaraya: Right

Kiriya's POV

Daidouji, Hanzo and I just finished killing all of the yomas within the area it was then I noticed a shinobi smoke signal.

Kiriya: That smoke signal! Could it be?

Hanzo: Go to them and fast we'll stay here and see if there's anymore hiding or if someone is in the vicinity.

Kiriya: All right then.

Daidouji: Be careful, this bad feeling isn't going away and I may hate to assume this but something must've happened to them.

Kiriya: For our sake I hope you're wrong.

I quickly ran out from the Hanzo school gates and jumped onto the rooftops and from there I can see the destruction the yomas have caused.

Kiriya: This is worse than what I had imagined...I have to hurry!

I quickly made my way to the forest where the smoke signal was fired and saw everyone there but Lucian looked extremely terrible and horrifying at most. I felt a dark presence looming on him like an aura, and he was caked in blood. I look to the right and saw the girls Hibari was in tears, Asuka, Katsuragi and Ikaruga were shivering while Yagyu was knocked out. I looked ahead of Lucian and saw three bodies one was pierced by ice and was encased in armor, the second had all four limbs torn off and the body was pierced just like the one encased in armor, lastly the one in the front was too horrific to describe it was hard to identify the face but the body looked more like it was tossed in a dissection lab and the people dissecting it looked like they were having a great time with the body.

Kiriya: What in the...world?

Asuka: Kiriya-sensei!

Kiriya: What happened?

Katsuragi: Lucian he...he just killed those shinobis.

Kiriya: (More like toyed with then slaughtered.)

I went over to Lucian and raised him up gently.

Lucian: Mmm...what happened?

I knew what was going to happen so I kept his right hand down and wiped his forehead. If he saw what happened to his right hand then he'll most likely go into a state of panic.

Kiriya: It's alright I'm here. What happened?

Lucian: I remember that I was battling this woman with long blonde hair, and red eyes. She was holding back on me...

Kiriya: Anything else?...!

I looked down at his chest and noticed a seal has been carved into him meaning that someone must've put him under their control but for now that doesn't look like the case since he seems fine.

Lucian: I remember...that she caught both Hibari and I into a trap and made the girls decide.

Girls: *gulp*

Kiriya: I see...

I turned to my students to let them know that I'll be speaking to them afterwards when this is over, and girls bowed their heads in fright of what I was going to do.

Lucian: The girls...they all picked Hibari.

Kiriya: I see.

Katsuragi: (We're so screwed.)

Asuka: (This is not going to go well once this is over I can feel my stomach clenching already.)

Ikaruga: (We're going to be severely punished for this.)

Hibari: (Uh-oh I'm going to be punished badly for this.)

I should've kept an eye on Lucian because he started to freak out.

Lucian: W-w-what?! W-w-w-why is there b-blood on my arm? *gasp* D-Did I do this?

Kiriya: (Shoot!)

Ikaruga: You don't remember?

Lucian: Remember what?...Ungh!...Why should you care what I do? You should be more concerned about Hibari than me so leave me alone.

I saw him give off a glare at Ikaruga, but it then softened to his usual look.

Kiriya: Are you all right Lucian?

Lucian: Yeah...although I don't know what came over me to say that...sorry Ika...rgh.

Kiriya: (Seems like that dark presence will take control if he decides to be nice to them, and that's going to be a problem.) Come on let's get back to the school.

Lucian: Yeah...Ungh! My chest it feels like it's burning!

Girls: Lucian!

Lucian: Shut up! I don't need you to worry about me you bastards! Ungh! Dammit it all! What's happening to me?

Kiriya: (That seal is affecting his body, it's rewriting his personality, and that dark presence in him is growing stronger.) Lucian forgive me.

I quickly chopped him at the back of the head to knock him out.

Kiriya: All right Asuka carry Yagyu and let's head back to the school I'm going to have a word with each of you.

Girls: Yes sensei.

I took Lucian and we quickly escaped the forest and back to Hanzo when we got there Hanzo and Daidouji were expecting us.

Daidouji: We cleared the area of the yoma.

Hanzo: So Kiriya how did it go?

It was then he saw Lucian covered in blood.

Hanzo: Lucian what happened to him?!

Kiriya: I'll tell you later in private.

I told the girls to take Yagyu to the infirmary and for them to get checked up as well that is until Asuka asked me a question.

Asuka: Kiriya-sensei what's going to happen to Lucian?

Kiriya: Nothing that concerns you, now go and get treated. Hanzo, Daidouji follow me.

Daidouji: Understood.

We left the girls in the infirmary and we took Lucian into another room. and Hanzo prepared a privacy seal that way the girls or anyone else can't hear us.

Hanzo: All right explain what happened?

Kiriya: Tell me has there been any reports of what the humanoid yomas possess?

Daidouji: I've noticed that they carry some sort of seal, mark or symbol on their head, back or chest

Hanzo: Wait don't tell me...

Kiriya: Yes look at his chest.

Hanzo & Daidouji: !

Hanzo: How could this happen?

Daidouji: Who was the one that done it?

Kiriya: From what Lucian told me, it was a woman with long blonde hair, red eyes. They were battling with her and from what he told me my guess would be that she made the girls give a choice to save either Hibari or Lucian and they chose Hibari to save.

Daidouji: I can't believe it...wait...I remember something when I was returning from my journey a former shinobi told me about a woman with long blonde hair with red eyes, and she was accompanied by a young girl with red hair. That and I witnessed a transformation a shinobi becoming a yoma based on the time it takes to transform ten seconds in order to transform into those things.

Kiriya: I see so we got a lead somewhat. We'll note that down for later but for now I'll tell you what happened when I got there, after that I'll discuss with the girls and get their side of the story.

Hanzo: Right we must take note of what this seal does and how to release the shinobis when they are transformed into those things.

Kiriya: When I got there it looked horrific, you see the blood on him? That's the blood of the shinobis he's killed. It looks like he gained a new affinity which is ice. Two of the shinobis were killed by ice one had protruding everywhere on the body, the next one was the same thing except all the limbs were removed...the last one...it was too horrific to describe.

Daidouji: I can't believe it...

Hanzo: Kaisei...and Mikata's son...would kill...

Kiriya: Wait there's more. That seal is rewriting his personality and it's changing his body when Ikaruga grew concerned for him he lashed out at her out of anger.

Hanzo: I see...anything else?

Kiriya: That is all.

Daidouji: I can't believe that this is happening. Kiriya if I may ask I want to put those girls through a test to see how much they can hold up. Afterwards I'll see his progress once he's back to his normal self.

Kiriya:...Very well then. For now let's see if we can stop this seal.

Hanzo: I'll see what type of sealing scrolls would be best, Daidouji I would like your assistance on this as well.

Daidouji: Understood.

They left and leaving me with Lucian asleep still.

Kiriya:...(I feel like there is more to this than meets the eye, just what is that woman planning?)

After a couple of minutes they returned with a scroll.

Hanzo: Found it. This won't stop the seal completely, but it will at least rely on his light affinity so long as it remains strong. The stronger his light affinity is the stronger the seal would be making him return back to normal.

Kiriya: (Question is how long until, we find a way to remove that seal.)

Hanzo: Time to see what's the sealing formula in this scroll

Kiriya: Right...but still an expert at seals...if only we had her at this point it would be easy for us to remove that seal on him.

Daidouji: Yes you're right she was one of the best at sealing but unfortunately she perished a long time ago. May she rest in peace.

Hanzo: Indeed a sealing genius like no other she can invent new types of seals to help make the mission go more smoothly but now we can't rely on her anymore since she's gone and with her help we might've been able to remove the seal Lucian and the other shinobis have that transform them into such monstrosities. Okay this was intended for Kaisei at first but now there's no need for it until now.

Kiriya: So that sealing scroll will work so long as the light affinity stays strong. I hope this will work because Lucian still shows animosity toward the girls since they chose Hibari over him...tch and just when they were getting along well. She had to go and ruin it.

Hanzo: Yes that is indeed unfortunate but we can't change what's happened before now we need to progress and with this seal hopefully it will work.

Kiriya: Right. I'll prepare the circle.

I bit my thumb to make blood come out and began writing the sealing characters to make the circle.

Hanzo: Daidouji hold him up, remove the shirt and clean up the wound where the mark is.

Daidouji: Understood.

She ripped off his shirt and cleaned up the wound.

Hanzo: Is everything set?

Kiriya & Daidouji: Yes.

Hanzo: Very well.

I made all the handsigns needed for this to work perfectly and the sealing characters that were in drawn in blood began to glow.

Hanzo: All right. Ninja Art: Curse Sealing!

I placed my palm onto Lucian's chest and the characters began to draw itself onto the area of Lucian's chest that had the mark and began to encircle itself around until a red glow appeared after I removed my hand then disappeared.

Hanzo: It is done and hopefully the darkness affinity stays locked up for good.

Daidouji: I'll take him to his room.

Kiriya: All right as for me I will have a word with the girls.

Hanzo: Good luck with that.

Kiriya: Piecing together all of what happened at the forest and with Lucian. I'm going to need it.

Meanwhile with the Hanzo girls Asuka's POV

We went to the infirmary to get checked up and leave Yagyu there but neither of us said a word. For what felt like forever it was Katsuragi that decided to speak up.

Katsuragi: We messed up this time.

Ikaruga: Yes...we sure did...but what could we do?

Hibari: I'm sorry this was all my fault.

Asuka: It's not your fault Hibari we should've listened to Lucian when he said to stay away from the fight...Even now I can still see it all so clearly and vividly...Lucian getting stabbed...then thrown, and then after that commit murder onto other those shinobis.

I heard murmuring and Yagyu woke up.

Hibari: Yagyu! You're all right.

Yagyu: Yes I am and Asuka's right it's not your fault for this Hibari, and I'm sorry I should've protected you sooner if I knew that was going to happen.

Ikaruga: Yes she's right and...I can't imagine what sort of pain he's in right now...and...now we made things worse. He was afraid of us, he then became our friend...and now he hates us for what we did.

Katsuragi: Then we'll make it up to him again!

Asuka: Do you really think it's that easy? Gaining back someone's trust is never easy.

Katsuragi: But we managed to break him out of his shell and he began talking to us like normal. So we can't give up.

Ikaruga:...Yes you're right but...

Hibari: We were there to help him and we can do it again, Hibari knows that he'll be back to his old self.

Yagyu: Hibari is right.

It was then Kiriya showed up.

Kiriya: All right start talking what happened back at the forest?

Girls:...

Kiriya: This concerns all of you no matter how you look at it. You put one of your teammates in harm's way and look at what's happened to him. This isn't going to be easy no matter how you look at it so start talking that way we can overcome this next time.

Asuka: Well...it's...

Ikaruga: We're sorry for what we did.

Katsuragi: We really screwed up

Yagyu: It's our fault that this happened. If...if...(If only I didn't say that then we might've been able to save them both...but now...)

Kiriya: If you're all feeling guilty then don't be. I'm one to blame as well.

Asuka: What do you mean Kiriya-sensei?

Kiriya: Tell me what happened in the forest and I'll tell you why I'm feeling guilty as well.

It was then Ikaruga spoke.

Ikaruga: We were battling a female shinobi who's name is Sylvia.

Kiriya: (Sylvia? Never heard of her before but it looks like we have an mysterious shinobi who's causing this mayhem.) I see what did she look like?

Ikaruga: Long blonde hair, red eyes.

Kiriya: (That matches the woman in our description, so her name is Sylvia.) Anything else? Did you see a girl with long red hair?

Ikaruga: No not really. When we tried to fight her using our shinobi techniques she didn't take any damage from our attacks but Lucian he was at an even match for her that is until what he said.

Kiriya: What did Lucian say?

Ikaruga: "Why are you holding back?"

Kiriya: (This Sylvia person is leagues above these girls, but Lucian was able to go toe to toe with her even when she was holding back, then my theory would be was that she was testing him.)

Ikaruga: She knew everything about us even what transpired in Hebijo.

Kiriya: (She must've sent spies to be on the lookout.) I see well then anything else happened there?

Ikaruga: While Lucian was fighting her, we were providing support and that was when Hibari told us that he wasn't being himself after he made her crash through several trees. It seemed like she was defeated with all the damage she's taken but we were wrong she stood up after taking so much damage. She then...grabbed both Lucian and Hibari and gave us a choice to save either Lucian or Hibari if we chose both she would kill them, if there was a majority vote both forfeit their lives so we had to choose only one person.

Asuka:...

Katsuragi:...

Yagyu:...

Hibari:...

Kiriya: Let me guess. Yagyu wanted Hibari free and all of you followed as well.

Ikaruga: Yes...after that she stabbed Lucian and carved something in his chest and dropped him from a great height which should've been instant death but he survived the fall. He was breathing heavily and we encountered three shinobis that served Sylvia we were near powerless against them Yagyu was knocked out quickly, Hibari was taken hostage again, and we were immobilized by another shinobi. One of the shinobi tried to kill Lucian but stopped after feeling a horrifying pressure. It was then Lucian woke up but...(Gerardo: AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! IT HURTS!) That was the most horrific thing I ever saw in my life, he showed no mercy to them he just slaughtered them. It was terrifying seeing his face, having that sadistic grin and seeing blood on him...he looked like a different person than what he looked normally. It was then after he killed all three shinobis he went unconcious.

Kiriya: That is something. (With the seal in place it's rewriting his personality...but a part of his old self still remains but thanks to that seal we placed on him hopefully he'll stay to his normal personality.) Well now I'll tell you why I feel guilty, it's because I feel like I haven't trained you all properly, and Hibari you were held hostage twice. Not to mention with what happened now you will need a lot of training to keep up with Lucian since based on what Ikaruga said he did most of the work and dealt serious damage. So two days from now we'll be going to shinobi island that way you can train in a new open environment. Also there is one mission I would like for you to do and it's a dire requirement.

Asuka: What is it?

Kiriya: Reforge the trust and bond all of you have with Lucian. Based on what I saw earlier he doesn't see you as friends and thinks of you as traitors for what's happened. Now anything you want to ask?

Ikaruga: Yes sensei we will do that but there's one question I want to ask.

Kiriya: What is it?

Ikaruga: The mark that Lucian possesses what is it?

Kiriya: It's the seal used for transforming a person into a yoma.

Girls: !

Kiriya: I know what you all are thinking but what Hanzo and Daidouji discussed with me, the transformation happens in ten seconds now tell me with Lucian did he transform?

Asuka: No he didn't he remained human. But...still it was horrifying just to see all of that.

Ikaruga: Yes it was...by the way where is Lucian?

Kiriya: Back in his room, in which I recommend you go back to your rooms as well this has been a long night. Tomorrow there is only going to be a lesson after that it's a free day use it to reform your bonds with Lucian.

Girls: Understood.

We then went to our rooms and slept for tomorrow.

Lucian's POV

I woke up in my room only to find myself shirtless and cleaned up no bloodstains on me. I went to the window and saw it was still nighttime so I went to my drawers to put on a new shirt. I decided to go see how the kittens were.

Lucian: Time to go check up on the little guys.

As I was walking to them I noticed that everything was quiet.

Lucian: (Looks like everyone is asleep.)

As I went to the infirmary I heard a loud beeping sound signifying that the person that was attached to it is dead. I felt tears begin to rise once again and quickly rushed to them.

Lucian: (No....it can't be! Please don't die! I want to see you alive...please!)

But when I got there the answer I received was the one I didn't get. I closed the door behind me and went to them.

Lucian: No....why...*sniffle*...why did it come to this....and you were so young...and full of life...all of you.

I got them all off the heart monitor and placed them on one bed. I felt their body temperature was slightly cold meaning that their death was recent.

Lucian: I'm sorry...all of you...I should've been there for you in your final hour...*sniffle* I'm so so sorry.

I let out all the tears I had within me I pet their heads, and kissed their foreheads.

Lucian:...Hey kittens...I...I want to show you something. Please just look at me even though you're not around right now...*sniffle*

I gave them a smile even though I was crying I wanted for them to be sent off with a smile on my face.

Lucian: *sob* I'm glad we met...all those times we spent together...training...having fun at the hot spring...I..I...I really had fun with you guys....But now...*hic* I know that you're in a happier place, so please don't forget about me...and...I won't forget about you either because...we're family...and we'll always be family...so please accept my smile as a final goodbye to you....until...we...meet again.

I dispelled the summoning and instead of them going in smoke. Their bodies began to glow and fade into light. I broke down I cried nonstop. I lost five special animals in which I called my family, my friends and after crying I went back to my room. This pain of losing someone and I wasn't there to be with them I felt nothing I couldn't get any closure with them, even sending them with off with a smile felt like that wasn't a good closure. I felt empty, I couldn't feel anything, no emotion I didn't know what to feel next so I just slept until morning came.

-----------Next morning

When morning came I didn't know what to do or even feel at that point I may as well have become broken. I noticed that the girls were in the hall talking to each other and they noticed me.

Asuka: Good morning Lucian how are you feeling?

Lucian:...

Katsuragi: About yesterday we're sorry.

Lucian:...

Ikaruga: So we decided to make it up to you today we'll do what you want.

Katsuragi: Even if it is something perverted.

Lucian:...

Yagyu: Not that far!

I looked up a little and noticed Yagyu hit Katsuragi on the head.

Katsuragi: Ow! Hey it's to make it up to him so why not go all out?

Hibari: Lucian we can give make you something good to eat now.

Lucian:...

I ignored what they were saying and went to the classroom and stayed far away from them.

Asuka: Hey Lucian come sit by us!

Lucian:...

It was then Katsuragi came over to my side and attempted to grab my hand but I slapped it away.

Lucian:...Leave me alone...that's all I ask, and...just pretend I don't exist after all you care more about Hibari than you do about me so spend time with her but as for me just leave me alone I know that you don't care so leave me alone.

As I said that I felt a dark presence loom over me and I felt a little angry about what happened yesterday.

Asuka: But Lucian

Lucian: Just shut up all right! I know that you aren't my friends, and Hibari she was right about you. Take those words into consideration...wait why the hell am I still even talking to you? Just leave me alone!

All the girls flinched when I said that, and Katsuragi looked a bit spooked when I looked at her angrily.

Lucian: What are you waiting for? Get back to your seat and sit down!

Katsuragi: *gulp* O-okay. (He's changed a lot since yesterday, he's no longer the same person after I saw him since the shower incident.)

It was then Kiriya showed up to the classroom.

Kiriya: Good morning students

Girls & Lucian: Good morning Kiriya-sensei.

Kiriya: Lucian why don't you sit near with the girls?

Lucian: I'm fine from here, so continue the lesson as normal.

The girls looked concerned when I said that but I didn't care.

Kiriya: (His tone of voice has changed, there's animosity in his voice he must really hate them. If he reverted back to his old self when he was afraid of them then this might've been repairable but unfortunately it's not the case this time.) Very well time to begin today's lesson.

After he began my mind began to replay all the events of yesterday, and I decided that it would be best to go outside and get my mind off this.

Lucian: (Where should I go once I leave here?)

After Kiriya's lesson ended I got up and went to get my money, and walked out however I was stopped by the girls.

Asuka: Lucian come on and let's take a walk together.

Katsuragi: Yeah we could go for some ramen.

Hibari: Or sweets?

Yagyu: Or squid?

Ikaruga: Come Lucian let's go together and we want to make it up to you so please let us.

Even after I said to leave me alone they still don't get it. I could already feel myself getting angrier by the second and it was taking everything in my power to not hurt them severely.

Lucian:...What part of leave me alone don't any of you understand? You want to make it up to me? Yeah sure and then what? Stab me in the back just like the rest did yeah like I'll forgive you...what a joke.

They stood there shocked at what I said and I went past them. I didn't bother looking back, nor did I feel any sympathy for them I just kept on walking.

Ikaruga's POV

I saw him walk past us, and the look in his eyes said everything he hates us a lot.

Ikaruga:...

Asuka: We have to go after him.

Hibari: Maybe it might be best if we left him alone like he said.

Katsuragi: No way! We have to gain back his trust, make up and become friends again.

Yagyu: Hibari why do you think we should leave him alone? It's our mission, we have to earn back his trust and reforge the bond we all had with him.

Asuka: Yagyu's right we can't give up now.

Ikaruga: Tell me did you look in his eyes?

Asuka: No not really.

Ikaruga: He hates us now and we deserve it for what we did to him.

Katsuragi:...She does have a point...Oh! I got it.

Yagyu: This can't be good.

Katsuragi: We just follow him, but maintain a distance that way we can see what he's doing and perhaps pick up his interests.

Ikaruga: That's not a bad idea to be honest.

Asuka: All right then we'll follow him.

All of us took to the rooftops and began searching for him.

Asuka: Ah there he is...and he's talking to some guy.

Ikaruga: Let's go!

Ghori's POV

As I was still coming into terms with that new seal the headmaster gave me and the rest of my teammates. I was busy practicing tricks on my roller blades. It's become my favorite past time in which the other shinobis question if I was an actual shinobi to begin with since I'm so laid back all the time. But I at least put in the work when it's necessary but for now today was a free day for us since she told us to take it easy since our bodies are still getting accustomed to the seal. Airi and Merola are working in a cafe, Hikaraya decided to read through some scrolls to enhance his ninja arts and see if he can further improve. As I kept on skating past people and avoiding debris from the incident with the yomas, I made a sharp turn to the left until I accidentally smacked myself onto somebody.

Ghori: Woah!

Lucian: Gwah!

We both fell down and I took a look at who I met and I never thought I would meet a good friend again.

Ghori: Yo Lucian what's going on yo?

Lucian: Oh Ghori how's it going?

I can sense negativity within him ever since I received the seal, and I noticed that he too has it now.

Ghori: Something up? You sound awfully sad.

Lucian: It's nothing really.

Ghori: Hey come on yo. Don't leave me hangin come on, I'll take you someplace where we can chill and talk.

Lucian:...

Ghori: Oh yeah roller blades off first hehe.

Lucian: You're still the same as ever....

Ghori: Yeah why wouldn't I be? It's what makes me well me. Remember what I said back at the inn? You only live once yo.

Lucian:...Yeah you did say that.

Ghori: Come on let's go!

I took off my roller blades and put them in a bag for me to carry them around. Bot of us then walked to a convenient store to buy some ice cream and went to the park despite it having some minor damage.

Ghori: All right so spill what's got you down? If something did happen then maybe I can help after all talking with someone can help you know.

I handed him his ice cream and we sat down on the bench.

Lucian: I lost five special friends...no family members...and I miss them a lot.

Ghori: Oh...I see...

I remembered back to when I lost my parents to those violent gang members. I remember seeing it all the gang leader tossing my parents to a small girl with green hair who's face couldn't show any emotion and she killed them before me. All I could do was run away, and cry at the time, after five days it was the headmaster that found me and I felt like this is what my parents have sent me when they departed to the afterlife. I lost both parents who I loved with all my heart but now they're gone...I still miss them and I can never forgive her for what she did.

Lucian: Ghori you alright? Did you go through the same thing I have?

Ghori:...Yeah I did a long time ago I lost my parents to a stupid gang who killed them like lambs to the slaughter. It was horrifying...and what's worse I couldn't do anything to stop it. I was too young back then I was scared out of my mind and most of the time I blame myself for not being stronger.

Lucian: I see well for me I lost the five of them to an uncureable disease, I had lots of fun with them, they were small, young, and very adorable.

Ghori: Wait a minute your kittens all died?!

Lucian:...yeah...I still miss them.

Ghori: I see, even though I met them for one day it still feels like yesterday we met in the hot spring you, Hikaraya, and me along with those five adorable felines. What a blast.

Lucian: Yeah...it sure was. But...we can't keep on wishing for the past...we can only move foward...still I'm going to miss them a lot those five little guys.

Ghori: Yeah they were adorable and they liked us pretty well. But you'll get through this I know you will. If you want two days from now my friends and I are gonna meet up here and if you want you can join as well.

Lucian:...It would be nice seeing all of you again.

Ghori: For sure. Hey how about a little race?  If you want to be fancy then you can do tricks if you want.

Lucian: Odd racing methods but all right but to where exactly?

Ghori: Heh around the park and meeting up here of course. I'll be using my roller blades while you try to keep up by running. If you win I'll treat you to something nice. Plus it's a great way to get your mind off of things. If I win however you have to do something for me.

Lucian:...

Ghori: You scared of losing?

I began to see a small smile creep up on his face

Lucian:...Heh...you're on!

Ghori: That's what I want to see! Now let's go but first music and here.

I gave him my spare Ipod and headphones in case I lost it, which contained all of the songs I used whenever I was using my roller blades.

Lucian: An Ipod?

Ghori: Pick whichever song you want and run to your heart's content for me rollerblading is my game.

Lucian: All right. Which song do you recommend?

I knew which song I wanted to play Live and Learn.

Ghori: I recommend Reach for the Stars since that'll get you in the mood to run. So ready?

Lucian: Yeah.

We both put on our headphones and counted down to three.

Ghori: Go!

I went ahead of Lucian and began to make my way through the park while cutting some corners by jumping over them, and the music was helping a lot cause it motivates me to go faster. I looked back and I saw Lucian far behind.

Ghori: (Oh yeah so gonna win this!)

Lucian's POV

I saw Ghori rollerblading ahead and I began playing the song he recommended for me and he was right I felt like running really fast I didn't want use my wind affinity, since I wanted to keep it fair for us both.

I saw Ghori really far ahead of me and I ran trying to catch up to him but he was far ahead but I remembered what he said.

Lucian: (Tricks are available to use huh? Sorry Ghori but I'm winning this!)

I quickly went towards a tree and used the tree itself to spring myself forward to the next tree I almost fell forward, I quickly did a somersault forward and launched myself ahead and by then I was keeping up to him.

Ghori: Not bad yo! But try this!

He jumped from the place he was at and went over the fence he was then in front of me skating towards the place where we began.

Lucian: Oh no you don't

I quickly cartwheeled and using the momentum to launch myself forward and I was at Ghori's pace.

Ghori: Finish line is just up ahead let's go at sonic speed!

He then began to go faster while for me I kept running faster trying to keep up with him and I jumped foward trying to reach the finish line, he saw what I did and copied as well.

Lucian: Ah!

Ghori: Ow that hurts!

And we both fell down to the ground we looked like up and saw the bench where we sat just five feet away and both of us got up and ran towards the bench concluding it in a tie.

Ghori: Welp looks like a tie even with all the tricks that we did hehe.

Lucian: Yep and Ghori you were right about racing thanks for that.

Ghori: No prob despite the fact we both fell down face first well since its a tie how about we do both of those things?

Lucian: All right so where do we go?

Ghori: I got the perfect place! What's good about it is that it's not one of the places destroyed from yesterday's incident.

Lucian: All right lead the way.

Meanwhile with the girls Asuka's POV

Asuka: It looks like he's cheering up that guy is helping him.

Katsuragi: He doesn't look too bad to be honest.

Ikaruga: It looks like those two are going somewhere.

Yagyu: Let's follow them.

We quickly tailed after Lucian and that person who he's met into a maid cafè.

Yagyu: Boys will boys I guess.

Katsuragi: Oho! A maid cafè hey how about we cheer Lucian up by wearing some maid costumes?

Yagyu: No way!

Hibari: But it looks like fun! Plus it's to help Lucian as well

Yagyu: T-t-then that would mean that Hibari would be...

Asuka: *sigh* Yagyu focus, we need to get closer without being detected.

Ikaruga: She's right...(although wearing something like that to cheer him up...Does he really like that type of stuff?)

Lucian's POV

I followed Ghori all the way to a maid cafè.

Lucian: Really a maid cafè?

Ghori: Ah but this maid cafè houses two girls whom you've met.

As I was looked at Ghori he pointed to the window and there I saw her Airi and Merola. When I saw them in a maid uniform my face went as red as Airi's hair. At the same time I saw lots of guys staring at her and it made me feel a bit jealous but the sight alone of Airi and Merola alone in that outfit is just amazing.

Ignore the scythe part.

Ghori: Stunning right?

Lucian: Uh-huh.

Ghori: Oh yeah now that I think about it, if I look at the time get ready you're about to hear a treat.

Lucian: What is it?

Ghori: Go inside and you'll hear it.

We both went inside the cafè avoiding Airi and Merola so that they won't see us, and from there we were served. I got a cup of hot chocolate, while Ghori had his usual purple tea since he told the maid that works there to give him the usual.

Lucian: All right what's this treat about?

Ghori: It's starting now.

I saw there was a karaoke machine and I saw Airi go to it and grab the mic. A lot of other guys were just ogling at the sight and cheering her name on.

Lucian: (No way is she going to sing?!) Don't tell me she's going to sing?!

Ghori: Let your ears indulge in her sweet voice.

I continued to listen to her song and I was entranced by her voice, her beauty. Everything about her was simply captivating that is until she saw Ghori and me when Merola mentioned her to us. At that point she blushed furiously and began to walk over to us.

Ghori: Nice song as always yo and Lucian here loved it.

Airi: D-Did you r-really?

I couldn't say a word she was close to us, and my voice wouldn't come out I could only nod my head in which she laughed and gently closed my mouth

Airi: Heehee it's best to close your mouth otherwise you'll stay stuck like that.

Lucian: Sorry I was just entranced by you singing that I was super shocked.

Merola: Okay, okay that's enough banter for now. Hey cutie what brings you here?

Ghori: Uh you mind if I tell them?

Lucian: Sure and you guys thanks for cheering me up.

Airi: Cheer you up? What happened?

Ghori: I'll tell you later.

Merola: All right then.

Airi: As your humble maids we will do our best to service you.

She said by pinching the sides of her skirt and giving a little bow. I was blushing insanely in which Merola laughed.

Merola: Hahaha oh Lucian you can be really funny when your face color matches my sister's hair.

Ghori: Now if we had Hikaraya then the crew would be complete.

Airi: Um...Lucian?

Lucian: Yes?

Airi: My shift is almost over do you want to meet up soon and talk for awhile is that okay?

Merola: How bold sister!

After thinking of everything that has happened so far the most trouble I had was with the Hanzo girls and Hebijo girls since the Hebijo girls tortured me, and the Hanzo girls betrayed me by putting me in that situation.

Lucian: You know what? Sure let's talk later when does your shift end?

Airi: Our shifts end in twenty minutes can you wait till then?

Lucian: Sure.

Merola: I'm counting on you to take care of my sister. Ghori and I are gonna head home.

Lucian: You are?

Ghori: Yeah remember what I said about meeting up two days from now? Yeah both of us have to get some things out of the way that way we can all meet up.

Lucian: All right then.

Airi: Take care you two.

Merola: You as well.

Ghori stood up and leaned closed to my ear.

Ghori: Remember that tie we had at the race?

Lucian: Yeah?

Ghori: I want you to give something that Airi will remember for a long time.

Lucian: How do I do that?

Ghori: You'll know it when the opportunity strikes also the bill is on me.

-------20 minutes later Hanzo girls POV Ikaruga's POV.

I saw Lucian and the guy he was with along with the two girls at the hot spring. I frowned a little knowing that Lucian met up with those girls because he got along so well with them while for me I just betrayed him.

Asuka: Hey it's those girls from the hot spring.

Yagyu: Who knew both of them worked at the cafè?

Katsuragi: Ikaruga you okay? You seem a bit mad. ! Is it because your jealous

Ikaruga: I'm not jealous...I'm fine to be honest.

Asuka: Are you sure about this? Your clenching your fist pretty hard.

I looked at my hands and noticed that my left hand was clenched into a fist and I didn't realize it yet. I took one deep breath and relaxed.

Ikaruga: See perfectly fine.

Hibari: Ikaruga if you truly feel that way about Lucian then go tell him.

Asuka: He won't listen to us remember?

Yagyu:...Then we'll keep at it.

Asuka: Looks like they're leaving and he's with the red haried girl. What was her name again?

Ikaruga:...Airi.

Katsuragi: Let's see what's going to happen.

We rose from our spots and followed them.

Lucian's POV

Ghori: Later yo!

Merola: Take care of my sister, if not you'll hear from me!

Lucian: I will.

Airi: Shall we?

Lucian: Let's.

We parted ways and began walking to see other parts of the city that weren't halfly damaged.

Airi: So what happened?

Lucian: My pets they've passed away.

Airi: All five of them?!

Lucian: Yeah, and...I have to say Airi. Thank you guys so much for cheering me up, it means a lot to me.

Airi: No problem. Hey come on I know someplace where we can go.

Lucian: Where's that?

Airi: Take my hand and I'll show you.

Airi took my right hand with hers and began to lead me into a different part of town where things weren't destroyed or ravaged during the incident.

Lucian: Wow hard to believe there's still some parts of the city where everything looks fine.

Airi: Yes indeed it is, but it's nice not to see everything demolished.

Lucian: Agreed.

We continued down the street and noticed that Airi was looking at something in the store window.

Lucian: What's up?

Airi: O-Oh! It's nothing.

I went over to see what she was looking at and it was a red dress with frills on them to be honest on her it would look really cute.

Lucian: If you want I can buy it for you?

Airi: H-huh? B-but you don't have to do that for me.

Lucian: Airi come on, I know you like that dress so let me buy it for you.

Airi:...Okay.

We both went inside and I asked for the dress that was at the window and the people that worked there took Airi's measurements after that was done she was given the outfit and I waited outside that is until she came out and she looked beautiful. The dress complimented her red hair and what's even made her more appealing was that her twintails was off letting her hair flow down and she looked very beautiful.

Airi: H-how does it look?

Lucian:...Wow...you...look beautiful, amazing even that dress really suits ya Airi.

Airi: T-thank you.

She decided to keep the new outfit in a bag, and put on her old clothes and kept her hair in twintails.

Airi: Let's keep going...and thank you Lucian.

Lucian: It was no problem.

She took my hand with hers again and we walked out.

Ikaruga's POV

I saw everything that happened with both of them he's getting a lot more comfortable with her and she's even holding his hand when I saw that I began to feel a bit depressed.

Ikaruga: (Do I even have a chance now?)

Katsuragi: Woah those two look like they're really dating.

Ikaruga: (Dating...)

Asuka saw my expression and talked to me.

Asuka: You can't give up now! Once he's listened to us, then you can confess to him.

Ikaruga:...

Katsuragi: Asuka's right you can't give up!

Yagyu: Hmm...

Hibari: What's wrong Yagyu?

Yagyu: Just piecing things that Lucian might like.

Airi's POV

After buying the dress that I wanted I took his right hand and it felt warm but firm.

Airi: (Heehee This feels like a date.) So let me take you to my favorite spot to watch the sunset.

Lucian: Sure let's go.

The only one whom I've actually served is Milady since she saved me from my fate. But being with him for all this, it feels rather nice...and he makes me feel really happy. I actually wouldn't mind serving him...and I feel like I can do what I wanted to do ever since our last encounter at the hot spring.

Lucian: Airi?

I was so focused on my thoughts I didn't hear him call out to me?

Lucian: Airi?

Airi: Huh?

Lucian: How far is it?

Airi: (Wow even while I'm daydreaming I came to the location I wanted to show him.) It's just up these steps.

Lucian: Then let's go.

We both went upstairs and the sight was beautiful so to speak.

Lucian: Wow the scenery is beautiful. (It feels the same when I watched the stars with Ikaruga.)

Airi: Yes so want to sit on a bench and just watch the scenery it helps calm my nerves.

Lucian: Sure but nerves?

Airi: My workplace can sometimes be a bit stressful.

Lucian: I see.

We both sat down and watched the sunset, I moved my hand a little closer to his and placed my palm on it. He only looked at me with a small blush on his face.

Airi: (I can do it!) Say Lucian do you mind closing your eyes? I want to give you something.

Lucian: Sure what is it?

Airi: Well you have to keep them closed right?

Lucian: All right then.

He closed his eyes and I leaned forward to kiss him.

Ikaruga's POV

Little by little I could feel him slipping away. I began to feel even more depressed on what's going to happen soon. The girls took notice about this.

Asuka: You don't have to look we can go home right now if you want?

Ikaruga:...I'm...fine.

Katsuragi: No you're not, plus he has some nerve kissing another girl and making you cry.

Ikaruga: *sniffle*

Yagyu: Well we did make him go through that experience in the forest so...

Hibari: (I feel really bad for Ikaruga, but maybe it might be best for this to be the way it is.)

Katsuragi: (But still...woah they're really going at it.)

I turned around and saw Lucian and that Airi girl kissing while they were holding their hands and I felt crushed.

Ikaruga:...

Asuka: Come on let's go home.

Katsuragi: This is devastating for you to watch let's go back.

Yagyu: Agreed.

Hibari: Come on Ikaruga.

Ikaruga:...Okay.

We went back to Hanzo Academy, I immediately went to my bed and cried on what happened between the two.

Ikaruga: (That should've been me. But...she had to interfere...Sylvia.)

Lucian's POV

I closed my eyes and I felt something soft press against my lips.

I saw that Airi was kissing me she lightly bit my bottom lip asking for entrance and I let her we both made out on the bench our hands were touching each other we then broke the kiss for some air. We opened our eyes and I saw a blush form on her face, and my guess was that my face was blushing too.

Lucian:...Wow...that was um...

Airi: Did you not like it?

Lucian: I won't say that I hate it. But...that did feel very nice to be honest.

Airi: I see well do you mind if we kissed again? My ufu master~

Lucian: M-m-m-master?! Airi I'm not your master!

Airi: Pfft-ahahaha you should see the look on your face it's so cute and hysterical. I know that I'm not your master but remember I work in a maid cafè and I wanted to see your reaction.

Lucian: Well hope you enjoyed the show. But still...ready?

Airi: Yes.

We leaned close and kissed as the sun went down and went to nighttime. After that kiss we looked up at the sky and saw the stars.

Airi: The stars are beautiful aren't they?

Lucian: Yeah they sure are. (Somehow...this doesn't feel right. With Ikaruga it felt really nice looking at the stars but with Airi...I don't know it doesn't have that same feel as in the daylight I guess hanging out with her in the day brings out more of her than it does at night.)

Airi: Well this has been fun wasn't it?

Lucian: Yeah it sure is. I can walk you back home if you want?

Airi: Thank you but no thanks. I can take care of myself on my walk to home plus it's not far from my workplace.

Lucian: All right then guess I'll see you two days from now.

Airi: Sure. Let's continue walking till we get to my workplace and we can seperate from there.

Lucian: All right.

We began walking all the way to the cafè where Airi worked some stores were closed while others were opened. When we got there we parted ways.

Airi: This has been really fun thank you Lucian.

Lucian: Yeah it sure was and thank you for cheering me up.

Airi: I see then how about I cheer you up with this.

She kissed me on the lips again then smiled sweetly.

Airi: Did that cheer you up?

Lucian: Heh...yeah it sure did.

Airi: Well until next time farewell, and thank you very much for the dress.

Lucian: Like I said no problem.

We went our seperate ways and I went back to Hanzo Academy. I saw the girls there and immediately I felt strange. From what was today depressing, to happy, and now I feel really mad. The girls were also glaring at me for who knows what?

Katsuragi: So hoped you enjoyed yourself.

Lucian: What does that matter to you? I do what I want.

Hibari: You made Ikaruga cry!

Asuka: Hibari!

Hibari: Sorry

Lucian: ! (I...did?) Wait were you following me?!

Yagyu:...*sigh* yes we were. We wanted to know what you liked but instead you found someone else.

Lucian: Rrgh...Why the hell are you even doing all of this there's nothing you can do to make me forget about what you bastards did so leave me alone.

Katsuragi: Well we'll make you forgive us, and make you apologize to Ikaruga!

Lucian: What? Why do I have to apologize to her you girls insisted on following me which you shouldn't so mind your own damn business and get off my business!

Asuka: Katsuragi what're you saying?!

Katsuragi: It's time we took this into our own hands.

Lucian: Heh...yeah sure you can try to beat me...that is if you're ready to put your lives on the line!

Asuka: What?!

Lucian: That's right put your lives on the line as if this really was a life or death battle. We're shinobis you have to get used to it plain and simple. If you aren't ready to go that far then quit while you're ahead.

Yagyu:..

Hibari: (He's changed a lot.)

Asuka: (I can't even imagine the thought about killing someone, and he's asking us to put our lives on the line...is he really trying to kill us?)

Katsuragi: I'm ready!

Lucian: Tell me are you doing this out of bravery or sheer stupidity like twintails and that pink haired idiot over there.

Yagyu: Don't you dare speak to Hibari like that!

Lucian: Then do something about it! Let her get stronger you're holding her back...heh I wouldn't be surprised if Hibari's death was all your fault...hehehe I wonder how would you punish yourself then? Through tears? Or by taking your life?

Yagyu: Rrgh! That's it you're on! I'll make sure you treat Hibari nicely!

Asuka: Yagyu!

Lucian: Asuka you wanted to be a great shinobi right? Don't you think Hanzo may have killed before?

Asuka: ! (Has he...really? I..I..I just don't know anymore?)

Lucian: You're trembling in your feet, best find another dream that suits you. With a dream that you're afraid to do the one thing that requires you to attain that goal it's best to find another dream.)

Asuka:...I'll do it! I'll fight you even if it means risking my life!

Hibari: B-b-but!

Lucian: Hibari you are by far the weakest of the group, during the fight you got captured and made hostage.

Hibari: But so did you!

Lucian: Yeah and who was the one doing most of the work, and not to mention I exhausted all of my power during that fight. So if anything you barely did anything. It's best if you just quit.

I saw her puff out her cheeks and got mad with tears in her eyes.

Hibari: Fine then I'll prove I can beat you!

Lucian: Heh so we're all in agreement.

We went into the gymnasium and I was on the right the girls were on the left their shinobi outfits ready and I got into my battle position.

Lucian: (Hehehe this is going to be fun!)
