I woke up early today
Thinking if I should  get up or stay
'Cause all I've been hearing already
Are noises and screaming from everybody.

I tilt my head
Hovering my hand
All over my bed
As I still lay down dead.

Until I got my earphones
I get up and crack my bones
I stretched and yawned
Insert in my ear the earphones.

Searching for music, I scroll,
A music that matches my soul.
Because I want to be different from everybody
I wanna be calmed and relaxed,and not angry.

Music is playing in my ears
Lifting my mood up for cheers.
I combed my hair facing the mirror
So I can see my ugly face much, much clearer.

I can still hear the awful sound of reality,
So I maximized the volume on my phone.
The music is leading me in my comfort zone
And finally makes me smile, now I feel free.

I opened my door, walking into the horizon
That's when I saw monsters came flying in
But no worries, I'm protected with my earphone
I felt no fear, and walked, slowly, on my own.

I took my breakfast, surrounded by horror
Keeping a straight face and looked into the mirror
I realized my reflection was not looking at me
So, I called my reflection, she ignores me then I flee.

I looked into the sky, what a beauty of blue
But when I look down, a war inside a human zoo
I looked everywhere, but glad, I can't hear their cry
Because the earphone in my ear, told me to fly.

I was just walking around, watching everything
I saw a lion eat another lion, fighting & growling
But makes no sense to me
Because the music in my ear separates me from reality.

I was on adventure with me, my soul & earphone
Watching how ugly the world if they take the poison
The earphone in my ear makes me deaf from them.
Saving me from a world that told me not to come.

There I saw a beautiful flower, smiling at me,
So I crouched down on the level of my knee
I tried to listen to it but I hear no sound
So she signed to take my earphones as she's standing on the ground.

I took my earphones and there I heard everything.
The awful noise, fights and terrorizing screaming
I quickly took my earphone and put it in my ear
The music starts to play and pulled me out in my fear.

I tried to kill the traitorous flower but I stopped,
The earphone told me not to, so, I went and hopped
I began walking home as the sun starts to set
I quickly ran back home then I sweat.

Finally home, finally away from everything
I went to my room and start on thinking
I realized that the earphone keeps me unharm.
Though I went home not dead cold, but still warm.

I pulled out my earphone as I start close my eyes.
A smile in my face, draw, before my consciousness dies
Slowly fading, still, I can hear the awful sound of reality
But with my earphones, I'm saved,  I'll be stress-free.
