Fallon sprinted as fast as her legs could carry her towards the blossom tree. Stood underneath the tree was Noah. He appeared to be alone, meaning that the girl who'd put the letter into his locker hadn't arrived yet. She ran up the small hill and leaned in the tree, panting heavily.
"Fallon? You ok?" Noah asked, looking at the girl with concern. She nodded her head quickly, still trying to control her heavy breathing. He put down his bag and pulled out a water bottle, passing it to the dark haired girl. She took it, their hands brushing slightly. Her cheeks flushed a light shade of red as she took the bottle and drank some of the water. She passed it back, and stopped leaning on the tree. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to meet you, actually." She said, her face heating up a little. He looked surprised, then smiled a little.
"So it was you who left this?" He asked, pulling out the note from his bag and passed it to her. She quickly scanned the letter, pretending to skim through it. She then passed it back, nodding her head. "What did you want to say?" She took a deep breath and mentally prepared what she was going to say on the spot.
"Noah. I guess I fell for you the moment I met you. I felt different. I can't describe what it's like, but I feel so in love with you." She took another deep breath and looked up. She couldn't read his facial expression or his body language, and that scared her. What if he rejected her? What would happen then?
"Fallon..." His voice lacked the emotion Fallon needed to know how he would respond. She held her breath, hoping he would accept her confession. "I like you, but something bad happens to every girl who likes me. What if something happened to you?" He had caught on to the trend in each bad thing that happened to the girls who like him. Panic hit Fallon, but her face refused to show it.
"I promise nothing bad will happen to me." She assured him, placing her hand on his shoulder.
"How would you know that? Unless..." He wasn't convinced, but something seemed to click on his mind. "Did you do it?" Fallon was taken back by his question. "Are you responsible?"
"No..." Fallon said, obviously lying. Noah pushed her hand off his shoulder and shook his head, not sure whether to believe her.
"It has to be you. All these things have been happening since you got here. That can't be a coincidence, Fallon." He stepped back. Fallon looked at him, confusion on her face.
"Maybe I did, and maybe I didn't. But it was all for you!" Noah was taken back by Fallon's sudden confession. "I love you and they were in the way of us!" Fallon didn't realise she was confessing to all the murders to Noah. Her voice was almost a shout, so anyone nearby would also hear her confession.
"You... You killed those innocent people. If you liked me, why couldn't you just speak to me about it?" He shouted at her, silencing her instantly. He had a point. She stepped back, shaking her head. Realisation kicked in, as she realised what she had said. She turned and ran quickly, followed by Noah.

She ran towards the crowd of students leaving school, but heard a shout that made her want to scream.
"Someone stop her!" She didn't need to turn around to realise the shout came from Noah, and he was signalling her out. She tried to run faster, but was apprehended by 2 4th year boys, who tackled her to the ground.
"Let go of me!" She screamed as they held her down. She could sense other students staring at her but she didn't care. She could hear Noah calling the police to have her arrested, and there was nothing she could do about it. She felt tears running down her face. She knew that the law would catch up to her eventually, but she didn't want it to happen. She looked at Noah, and saw him receiving a kiss from Ashley. Everything inside her died, as she realised it was too late.
