Sudden Killing

Tuesday. Fallon's phone buzzed in her pocket. It was after school, and Fallon was walking home. She pulled her phone out of her pocket to read the message. It was from Isabel. That didn't surprise her. The only people who actually messaged her was Isabel and sometimes Hana. Her parents never made any effort. It was like she didn't even exist in her parents eyes. This didn't bother her. If it did, she would be a completely different person. That was why she learned to hide her feelings, then eventually stopped having feelings altogether. She opened the message, which read your next rival is just ahead of you. Fallon looked up from her phone at the girl a few feet ahead. She felt into her hoodie pocket and pulled out a pocket knife. She always carried it in her hoodie just incase she needed to kill someone. She followed the girl until she turned off the path into a forest area. It was the same forest she'd burned all evidence of killing Beverley.

5 minutes into the forest, Fallon could hear a crack. She looked down and saw she'd broken a stick. She looked up and saw the girl looking at her. Fallon ran over to her, stabbing her in the stomach. The girl screamed and fell to the ground, dead. Fallon looked at the knife. It was covered in blood. She let the blood drip onto her rivals clothes. She wiped the blood from the knife, before putting it back in her pocket. She then picked up the body and moved it into an open space. She realised that she still had the box of matches from when she'd killed Katie. She lit one and threw it onto her body. She watched it burn, warming herself as she did. It was late November, so it was nice to have some warmth. She watched it for a while, waiting for the body to burn into ashes. She put out the fire on the ashes, then continued walking home.

Fallon sat in her room that night. She watched the rain fall onto the window. She had just killed someone else, someone she didn't know. Fallon didn't feel bad though. She didn't feel anything. To Fallon, anyone who tried to take Noah away from her deserved to suffer. She closed her eyes for a moment, and listened to the rain fall outside onto her window. She thought of Noah. That's all she could think of. She wished she could just talk to him. She wished she could tell him how she felt. But she couldn't. She didn't have the words. There were other girls who could take him away. She couldn't confess her feelings until she was 100% sure that no one could take Noah away from her. She lit the candle next to her, and turned off the lights. She wanted to be alone in her thoughts for a while. She watched the flame dance, and light up a small part of the room. It was already dark out, with the only light coming from the candle and the streetlights outside her window. She stayed like this for a while, before blowing out the candle and going to bed
